I tried to move the RTBP.dll into the Bin folder and renamed it d3d9.dll, and it returns the error "The procedure entry point Direct3DCreate9 could not be located in the dynamic link library D:\My Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe.". install it with the instructions in the zip file then follow everything.. dont forget to rename your files and replace your files also. u have to rename it but ALSO copy past the d3d9.dll that is in the download. very important ...i use reshade and i had to remember move the reshade file to desktop or something rename it THEN add the d3d9.dl. otherwise its gonna just override it and give errors
Guest Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 (edited) i dont have d3d9.dll] i see now i missed the main file to download its ok now can i ask where i put RTBP Commander v0.2.exe ? and after i add all main file mod folder and main game are the installer i need ? It could have something to do with the accessories. Thanks for the log file. Luckily, it includes the back trace. This should make it easier for me to figure out what happened. Thanks for your bug report, and sorry it's not working for you. Hopefully I'll have it fixed in the next version. Maybe someday. I'm not certain how I would go about simulating the physics of hair, but I could certainly modify the hair meshes at runtime and add bones to them. Softbody physics is a possibility as well, but it would be extremely computationally expensive. This is a known issue. Sometimes RTBP selects the wrong bones for simulating. Hopefully I'll have it fixed in the next preview release. I personally havn't run into any of the finger stretching you've warned about, but I have experienced the same clothing/bone glitch. Would it be helpful to provide you with a list of the Maxis clothes that seem to be affected by it? Because I wouldn't mind testing and screwing around in CAS to do so
Awsonaut Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 (edited) EDIT: FOR THOSE THAT ALSO SEE THIS ISSUE: Fix is going into CAS. Having an issue where the there's a hole in one of my sims. It's on the left side of her chest and is only visible from the front. When looking at her from the back, it looks normal, no hole. It's even visible in the Sims portrait and when changing outfits. It seems to be the parts of the boob affected by the physics? But I could be wrong. Anyone seen anything like this before? Edited February 17, 2022 by Awsomonium

I've had this happen a few times and what seemed to fix it was to close TS4 and restart it. This worked for me. Hope it helps.
CPVC Posted February 17, 2022 Author Posted February 17, 2022 The next preview release of RTBP is now available. Version 0.4-p3. Grab it here: There haven't been any super significant changes, mostly just bug fixes. Please let me know how it works and if the changes I've made have fixed any of the bugs some of you have been suffering from. Thanks. Change Log: * Added the commands "(push|pop)Settings", which saves or restores the current settings on a stack. * Added an experimental method of detecting when a new sim buffer is a modified version of an old sim buffer, and transfer the old simulators' state to the new simbuffer simulators. * Tweaked the space breast physics are simulated in, so that it looks more realistic. Also, the calculated center of mass no longer factors in to the equation. I think that this may have been the wrong way forward. * Added command "messageBox [TITLE] [MESSAGE]" which opens a message box with the specified title and message. * Added command "loadSettingsFile [PATH]" which loads and applies the settings file in the file specified by PATH. * May have fixed the problem with the breast simulator accidentally selecting male shoulders and stomachs with certain meshes. * Improved command parsing. Quoted arguments with spaces in them will now be treated as one argument. * Added general settings "simulateSpeedPaused0", "simulateSpeedNormal1", "simulateSpeedFaster2", and "simulateSpeedFastest3". These settings are booleans (true or false) and determine which speeds RTBP should run at. By default, only "simulateSpeedNormal1" is set to true. The rest are set to false. This means that RTBP will only simulate at speed 1 (normal). * Some other misc. fixes that aren't really worth mentioning. Once again, thank you all for your help. I'm really hoping that this release solves a lot of problems so I can start working on adding new features. 4

l0ngdickj0hns0n Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 As of updating today not sure why but my game will freeze upon trying to load a lot. I remove the RTBP.dll and the game loads fine. It was fine also before the newest sims4 update, and this most recent RTBP update. RTBP.dll and RTBP folder with settings in BIN. RTBP MOD folder in SIMS4 MODS folder. Made sure to replace all files with newest update. Game will load but I notice I am not seeing the normal RTPB message pop up. Then load lot and game freezes. Other info I am using reshade but have the .dll renamed to reshade.dll. Any info would help greatly thank you!

Sorry about that. If you guys could post your log files that would be very helpful. In the mean time, revert to the previous version, found here: RTBP v0.4-p2 I'll try to get this fixed as soon as possible. 2
Sutsiua Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 I get no crash or freeze but I also have not patched the game yet

l0ngdickj0hns0n Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 Also this is what it said in my RTBP log Unable to connect to RTBP's simulation server: [WinError 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it Attempt 10/10. Retrying in 10 seconds.

alexlll Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 (edited) Everything works fine for me, the game does not crash, everything loads as it should. The only thing that now will have to do all the settings again. Some clothes that worked fine on the previous version are broken in the new version. Why is the simulateSpeedFaster parameter needed? Update. When changing clothes, the game hangs, but with the installation of test DHL everything works. What does the experimental sim buffer matching feature affect? deki Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Hi Guys, is this triangle still there for you ... ? i had this issue since day one and I was hoping it will get away with the new version but it's still there ... like always even if I create a new sim from scratch. it is really annoying af
alexlll Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 deki - it's a rudimentary tail. Sims are also descended from monkeys.
