The Children of the Sky race is playable as either male or female, if that's what you're asking. The author created a custom mesh'd male body as well as a female body for his mod.
Honesty Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I thought I'd post here as I usually help people - so was looking for some help for someone not as lazy as I : )I haven't updated to the new FNIS beta (maybe I will when it's out of beta) because i'm afraid of what will happen to my current FNIS compatible files... the skeletons and all the backflips, sneaking, idles, etc... will these be safe if updating?Someone with a doggy-avatar tweaked the CoTS skeleton I am currently using, so it uses the dagger on the back style, and he also scaled the weapons so they're not fucking huge looking on the kids (adult sized weapons looked stupid as hell and clipped badly).I was wondering if someone could upload a few of XP32'a skeletons; CoTS-sized with tweaked weapon sizes, double dagger on back/one dagger/lower quiver, etc... with all the nodes and goodness from XP32's skeletons of course. Have you tried the Race Compatibility from the Nexus? Not the one from CotS as it is outdated. Cause that's a custom race issue. It did the same thing for vampires back in the day until Race Compatibility was updated. I'm assuming it is the same issue, and if you're using the Race Compatibility from CotS, then you're going to have that issue still since it is outdated. Never used the race version of this mod before, so I can't tell you for sure. But that does sound like an issue caused by the Race Compatibility (since that is what caused that issue before with other custom races). Is there an update coming to children of the sky ? Also i think you should switch to another picture host cause the photos are dead. There probably won't be an update. Jittek, the creator of this mod, hasn't been around in quite awhile. The mod is basically abandoned with a few members making tweaks here and there, but that's about it. Basically the mod is dead, but the thread is still alive cause people still like to use this mod even though it is rather outdated.

Still messing with armor becouse some updates on armor lately alot great armors and combos that looks great on kids. Wish i could mod but dont realy have time and patience for it. Would love seeing some improvement on body and more options plus face improvement also on sounds more kid sounds. But prolly won't happen anymore so ill have do with CotS r2 and followers beta. I don't like the other child race mods like monli or cots refait maybe later when they improve alot but ill stick with what i got. For me CotS is by far for me best Child mod!

Jittek has been know to go on long drawn stints of no contact before, he has terrible problems with access to the internet. While I wouldn't hold your breath, it's quite possible that he will pop back in at some point. A pity he left when he did, because from the sounds of it, R3 was basically done... Also, I usually get by this by setting my race to Nord using the console to get the dialog options, then setting it back afterwards. It seems to preserve character customization preferences just fine

I'm just afraid if I use the one from nexus, I'll start getting a bunch of spam .. though I guess I could just try it..? : )thanks again gaiz EDIT: I would like to report, using the racecompatibility files on the nexus is working fine, without any papyrus log spam.To have it work as intended without spam, you must start a fresh new game.I use the Unofficial Patches. I also Have Dawnguard -- and I ALSO have Ultimate Follower overhaul. I was using DVA when I snapped these pics. I recommend it for those who just know they'll end up vampires. I'll probably post more, as it's true this thread could use pics.

This way, someone can add or use the old images in a new thread and put up the new links and fixes. This way people don't have to search for all the new links and fixes scattered in this thread and instead, have a new thread that is updated with all the new stuff. Just a thought.

Let's see if I can get pics to upload... Second try... Neglected to change res before doing screenshots... I take it back. She's not just on her toes, but levitating. Interesting.

I think it was in the Flat Pack...? Other than that, I have toyed with the idea of using Elin, but haven't gotten around to it. No. Lolilabs v1.1.7 full.

It's definitely another mod doing that. Looks silly. I've gone through the full list I'm using. Nothing different than my last install, with the exception of the HighelfIdle animation replacer. Going to try replacing the animation file with the original and see what happens... I know it's a long-shot, but this issue is bugging the hell out of me. EDIT: Well what do you know? Went back to the original mt_idle.hkx file, now she stands with her head high, and feet on the ground! Anyway, I really appreciate the responses. Thanks, all!

I set my eyes from the supplementBut only changed the NPC. Then I manually replaced the eyes of my character. Replacement was successful but the glow is not.Someone can tell me what to do about it? It points to a scabbard directory that isnt created in your mod files two ways of fixing this: 1.) Make the directory and place the dds files for yamato in there. or 2.) Correct the directory structure for that node. Its not difficult if you have nifscope. By the way I'm just now getting into the modding thing now so sorry if there is a much easier way to fix it. I honestly don't know it.
