yes i saw but i didnt think it would cause CTD before i even got SD activated.  yes i downloaded and installed SexiS data core. no i havent tried using SexiS.  i dont use sex mods often i just figured this would make things more interesting.

Okay, from what I've gathered from reading the PCEA docs is this.

 

In "Data\meshes\actors\character\animation\" copy these folders:

  • sanguinesDebauchery
  • SexiS
  • ZaZAnimationPack

And paste them in "Data\meshes\actors\character\animation\PCEA\" then run FNIS again.

 

I hope that works...

ok i have already updated my skyrim to 1.9.3 but im having a problem with sexis it says i need to update my skyrim to 1.8 or higher

 

 

 

and also can you upload the new SD in 4shared  cause im having a really slow net right now i cant download successfuly in LL not  until midnight

BTW, while you're here, will you have a look at the problem with thugs anytime soon? Or at least could you give me some clue about what to look for? I've already compared several recent versions of SD to see the difference between them and the latest and couldn't find anything important, tried changing a few things but nothing worked so far. I have a save and can provide some input if you need any.

You can:

  • Ignore it, it only happens at the start of the game.
  • DL WaxenFigure's patch ( see the Sexis OP ).
  • Or you can disable it since SD only requires the Data Core and not the SexiS ESM file.

Digging in the SexiS archived thread there is a post regarding getting SexiS to run with PCEA

 

+To get SexiS working with PCEA is a lot more tricky but it does work (as I'm using right now hehe)

-First install "Behavior Files V3_3_2 -- ALWAYS necessary".

-Install "XP32's XP32 New Animation Package - Nexus Exclusive" if you use this one. Link

--Config and install via NMM before moving on.

-Download "New Animation pack by xp32 - 14-11-2012" Link

-You don't need to install this mod all you need are the behavior Files.

-Extract the archive and copy "Data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors\" to it's folder.

-Install Sexis and its plugins.

-Re-generate FNIS using the "GenerateFNISforUsers.exe"

-Load em up in you modmanager, start game and it should new be working.

 

If you're using anims other than the XP32 ones, copy them after installing the XP32 ones but before Running FNIS.

Also as a precaution back up your "\Data\meshes\actors\character" folder before starting so you have a fallback.

Loved the hardcore idea, in fact I've been thinking about something like that myself but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of my bindings after I escaped. I got the Master's Key from the dead master's body but my hands are still bound. Guards don't seem to help. Should I go to a specific NPC to get help?

 

Edit: The old trick, transferring them into a container works as a workaround for now.

LOL! BTW, I was curious about what would happen to the already running WIAdditem03 quest when I upgraded to the latest version of SD. The quest apparently either reset or stopped but the thugs are still there where I left them. I guess I need to do some more thieving around Riften. :)

Yep. I had to reset the quest since WIAddItem03 has been almost completely rewritten.

 

I'll have to test the escape mechanism more. The two thugs that follow the player around now actually force the player back to the master if they have LOS. Consequentially it makes escaping almost impossible ( almost, you still can if they get involved in combat ) so I didn't get the chance to speak to many guards.

The dialogue is in the _SD_controller quest. If that hasn't restarted then the dialogue won't be available.

 

And.... because I didn't toggle AND to OR in the "Subject isChild == 0" conditional, the NPC has to be in Friends state with the player.

 

You should also run into the occasional NPC that will offer to free the player only after the they agree to "work" for them.

WIAddItem03 was stopped at stage 10 (in the previous version). I suppose if I leave it like that the thugs will never show up again. Should I reset the quest or is there anything else I can do?

The dialogue is in the _SD_controller quest. If that hasn't restarted then the dialogue won't be available.

Do I have to restart it manually?

If it's in the esp I think I can fix that myself with TES5Edit.

Hi Kelpie! Certainly, here's what I did: [spoiler=Quest spoilers!]After obtaining the book and leaning the spell from it, with the quest failing to progress, I recalled reading a post several pages back of a person who was encountering the same issue: learned the spell from the book, but the quest would not advance. I presume we're probably referring to the same post as I initially used the command "player.sqs _sd_spriggan" referenced to that post, but encountered the same issue as you had with the "Could not phrase line". It was not until after I typed in the console "help _sd_spriggan" that I found the line "QUST: _SD_sprigganslave". Perhaps yours is different (the quest ID, that is), I don't know, as mine was different from the ID "_sd_spriggan". What I would recommend, then, is to type that very command "help _sd_spriggan" and then look for the "QUST:" which then will indicate the quest ID for the Spriggan Flowering quest (keep in mind there is a space in-between "help" and "_sd_spriggan", and likewise for the other commands, in case you didn't already know). From there you then can proceeded thusly with the "player.sqs" command to determine the current stage and the stage necessary in order to advance the quest.

Thugs work fine for me but anything that attacks on the path to the bandits or owner you stole from will drop the quest and then you will be enslaved after the quest but the bandit walks away and character doesn't follow. Also once I finally was able to console kill anything on the path to get to the bandit hide out they started attacking me as well. =( lol

Guys, do not use Dual Sheath Redux with SD! 

For whatever reason, and I don't know why, it was treating SD as a master file.  And so when I attempted to update SD, loading the initial save following the in-game MCM uninstallation, my game kept CTD before the Skyrim logo.  Using TES5Edit, it detected a critical error between Dual Sheath Redux and SD, specifically that SD was a master file to Dual Sheath.  After reinstalling 2013032501 and uninstalling Dual Sheath Redux the problem was resolved.  Also, I think Dual Sheath Redux may have the same compatibility issue with Better Vampires by Brehanin, treating it also as a master file for whatever reason.

Great mod, had lots of fun with this until I had interesting NPCs install and tried to complete spriggon quest. one of the NPCs had already killed the spriggon by time I arrived could not finish quest and tried going to library from earlier save and could not get different spriggon destination to end quest. Uninstalled NPC mob but and loaded a save from before I had arrived at destination spriggon still dead. Is there any way to select a different spriggon?

Hi Jbezorg!  Yeah, I really don't know.  It's a possibility.  I remember when installing DSR I had to use a Java patcher thing, and it did say something about "exporting" mods.  Maybe that had something to do with it?  Not sure.  Nevertheless, for updating SD (and potentially Better Vampires) and for every update thereafter, unless one first uninstalls DSR each and every time before updating the respective mod, there probably will be a CTD each and every time when updating.

I'm a little confused as how to update this mod, do I have to go through the process of doing a full uninstall (as described in the mod's description on page 1, with making a clean save, waiting in-game and all that), manually remove all SD's files in the directory, install the new version's files, and install it in the game..? Makes me not want to update the mod at all... :s

I updated to the newest version, Still a few bugs with the sanguine dream quest.

> When I go to sleep, I wake up in sanguines realm. Then Sanguine start doing her thing. (still skipping conversation)

Then that happens a few more times and then I'm teleported back to my house. Problem is she's coming along and the loop keeps playing.

But I can't see any difference between 50% and 100% darkness. (It's just pitch black.)

 

And I really liked the new beads, but since I can't enter the magic effects menu I can't see what it does.

And seeing that the gag and bindings are affecting your skills I'm curious if thats also the case in case of the beads.

If you could see the spriggan before you uninstalled the npc mod you could do this resurrect http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15236. do this on your npc's first, console, setunconscious 1 on each of them then do this resurrect spell. you then can do the reverse on your companions by doing console, setunconsious 0 on each of them to bring them back. when you uninstalled your npc mod if you could see the spriggan then you could do this resurrect spell on them. it has save me some headaches .
