What you need to do is to post: 1. A more complete description of what changed and precisely what you mean when you say you're game won't open 2. Your load order (list of mods) 3. You FNIS output (this is what shows up when you hit generate FNIS for users - just copy and paste whatever it says.

Hopefully someone with more patience than me can look at your load order and give some tips, but the whole "I literally changed nothing and it was fine last night, wtf" song and dance is VERY common. Sometimes, after playing for hours no problem, I'll close the game to go make dinner or some shit and when I come back it will refuse to open. Or crash 5 seconds in, for no apparent reason. I've learned NOT to mess with anything when it's like this and just keep trying, load different saves, restart the PC, do something else, etc. until it stops throwing a tantrum. Bethesda makes great RPGs, but they are SO GODDAMNED BUGGY

Don't rush, there's another part to this. Within that there are three subforums, two for downloads and one that also says Technical Support. Click the arrow in the circle next to the one that says Technical Support and start this thread all over again there. Frankly, were I you, I would copy all that very useful information that you posted for me and put it there when you begin the thread.\ Alternatively you could ask A Moderator to move this thread to that location but, frankly, that will take longer. Sorry I couldn't be of any more assistance (and yes, technically speaking Skyrim SE and Skyrim LE are two different games).

And in fact, you shouldn't if you ever get asked to do it. But if you want to support the site, please have a look at the bottom of the page "Help Support LoversLab". Now, back to your problem, and my guess of what your issue could be: SE is bound to get updated in a way that renders many mods disfunctional, ... until the modders find time to replicate the bullshit update and post new versions of their mods. Unfortunately, the mod/tool with the biggest impact possible is SKSE itself. Many SE players escape this by arranging for their Skyrim SE to be offline-only and NEVER update, ... unless it is explicitly told to do so. Please have a look into the SE section to get guidance on how to do that. Of course it coud be something else entirely. (Me = Skyrim LE only ) Good luck ?

The game locks up randomly on CONSOLE. It didn't happen by "magic", it happened by being a barely functional game. Google "my game was fine last night but won't boot this morning" or "I changed nothing and Skyrim won't start" and you will find a great many posts where people literally changed nothing and the game is freaking out. It's a very old, very unstable engine. All Bethesda games are like this.

It should be stable as fuck on an unmodded console, and yet still misfires, locks up, and bugs out. What on Earth makes you think it would run any better on a highly variable PC? Everyone's set up is different. If you're arguing that this is a stable, reliable gaming engine, this conversation is over because you are a nutcase. The only time anyone says this game is stable is "after you install this memory fix, this optimizer", etc etc ad nauseum. Then it shouldn't crash "hardly ever"! Bad gaem, bad business, EXCELLENT base for basically building a new game on top of. An unpredictable, bug-ridden game.
