Adding to what elalquimista said, it'd be nice if the amount of lockpicks you 'found' each 'instance' depended on your security level rather than luck. It doesn't make much sense (just because you're good at lockpicking doesn't mean you'll magically find more lockpicks), but IMO it would be a better system.

There's something wrong with elalquimista's setup; finding lockpicks should happen pretty often; none of this hours of waiting around. Indeed, leaving the game running while you do something else waiting for lockpicks is a very bad idea, as your master will periodically search you and take them away. His character must be peculiarly ugly; mine never go more than a couple of minutes without being raped by whoever is in control.

 

About the only thing I'd agree with is that the Alessia Caro sequence in Sibling Rivalry does drag on too long; a day less would be a big improvement, IMO. This is a very easy change to make, of course. Sibling Rivalry is fine apart from that and the quest not completing once it's over; I pretty soon tire of the messages and use 'stopquest' in the console. There's a trick to dealing with the ghost, which he evidently didn't notice.

 

I don't understand his problem with Rough Justice; true, the quest doesn't complete, but it is essentially uncompleteable (is that a word?), just like the LPK quest never completes; you can always get in trouble again. The hanging not being fatal is the problem with the 'ending' (again, IMO).  We won't go into the 'empty sack' thing, as that's acknowledged to be a bug, and there's a workaround.

 

I was amused by his thinking that anyone that plays the LPK mods would be unfamiliar with LoversSlaveTrader. I won't comment on this delineation between the 'adult' game and the beautiful artistic one.

 

 

Rough Streets - you have to wait until you get a lockpick to get free; if something's wrong and you're not getting lockpicks, well, yes, you'll be there indefinitely.

 

As to the chance of getting more lockpicks, I have to disagree and say relying on luck makes far more sense than security skill. But each to his/her own, which is a big part of what this forum is about, surely?

The Dog Dayz quest no longer works in version 0.69. Ganredhel gives a "I HAVE NO GREETING" error about half way through. Version 0.68 and 0.67 (tested) loop endlessly at a certain point and won't progress. Version 0.59 does work as intended so you could do some creative loading/deactivating in order to complete it and still use 0.69. I think older versions are archived.

 

Pathing around the slavers camp is askew, as well. When the one slaver mistress takes you to the fort, she'll try to swim rather than use the bridge/catwalk. This is a game killer as she can never get out of the water after getting trapped under the dock. TCL doesn't fix. Perhaps it's just my install...but has anyone tried the slave camp part lately?

The Dog Dayz quest no longer works in version 0.69. Ganredhel gives a "I HAVE NO GREETING" error about half way through. Version 0.68 and 0.67 (tested) loop endlessly at a certain point and won't progress. Version 0.59 does work as intended so you could do some creative loading/deactivating in order to complete it and still use 0.69. I think older versions are archived.

If the mistress gets off path you can stand on the bridge and issue console command "moveto player" to get her back on track.

The No Greeting issue with Ganredhel comes up every so often in this thread. IIRC it's a mod order/incompatibility issue. Reading back in this thread should tell why and how to resolve.

 

I've tried getting trapped under the bridge during pathing in slaver camp once, was a real mess. It was a freak accident though, only happened once out of a dozen times. And I never saw the mistress get trapped, this was simply the usual shenanigans that can happen when you're force-following a master.

Re: Dog Dayz. Yes...found it, thanks. Seems Ichabod recommended deactivating Lover's Bitch which is a bit of a drag once you've got the dog bone. Hmmmmm....perhaps I'll just skip this one. Handy to know for others, though, is that you can keep Lover's Bitch active if you revert to 0.59 for that part of the mod...just name it 0.69 (or just Player Slave Encounters if you do it that way).

 

I'll try the camp a few more times before I start building more bridges over the Niben.

 

Ahhhh....Oblivion....like roller skating downhill through a cactus patch at times.

Is the event timer what determines the frequency of sex by non-quest owners? In either case, is there a way to increase the frequency, such as a variable to change in console? Even with the even timer set to minimum, it can seem quite sparse.

Having reached level 5, I was out to get the Daedric quests at that level.  Hopbopping along to the Shrine of Namira I discovered upon my return (fresh Forgotten One slave in tow) that there's a spit over a fire by the shrine, like in the Bloody Hand goblin cave.  Is there a sector to the mod I haven't discovered yet where you get roasted here if you piss someone off?

Let's see...Namira despises beauty and relishes in decay and ugliness...now let's remember the prequesites necessary to start the Namira quest and do it the other way around...(I hate simple answers!)

 

though I have to say I never finished this, it became a tad too tedious and the end was rather...obvious...so...have fun :dodgy:

Ahhhhh.  Wow.  Okay.  I get the drift.  :rolleyes:  (She may have a mean streak, enslaving Forgotten Ones, and all, but my character isn't that evil.  Really. :angel: )

You might have caught the wrong drift if I understand what you're getting at.

 

The extra addition to Namira's shrine you stumbled upon is an easter egg (or early test left in according to Icha). It's triggered if you offend Namira, and Namira's followers are the only ones who will be doing evil. Or were you simply referring to the fortuitous fact that your character isn't quite evil enough to pray at Namira's shrine (and thus remaining blisfully unaware of the fate that could have befallen her)?

No, I'd misunderstood.  I thought one of the ways to raise one's ugliness would be frying people.  Guess I got it wrong.  Dang it, now I have to load one of the earlier saves and see if it works!  *Looks up "How to offend Namira"*

Hi guys...

 

I got an issue with the Ayleids quest...

 

I did the hackdirt quest, dar ma gave me the ayleids quest, I spoke to the Randolph and found the underwater cave...

The thing is I cant find the key to Ceysel Halls no matter what... I wonder if I missed it earlier in the quest or simply cant find.

 

If I use "coc ceysel" to get there, the quest doesnt move on to the next stage.

 

If I do both that and upgrade the quest stage on the console, I still cant progress... lol

 

I dunno what to try next...

Welcome to LL.

A good place to start with errors like that is to review this Link.

Then post your load order inside spoilertags and folks will be able to assist you more efficiently.

From that message, you may have an incorrectly installed LwPK system.

If you follow the link he gave you, you will find that it tells you how to provide your load order.

 

It assumes you are using a mod manager- either OBMM or WryeBash. If you aren't, there is no hope for you, sorry.

is there a percent chance of being sold to someone on the road?  for example i got taken by the randy hunter, whats the percent chance that the next person he comes across will be a potential buyer?

Roughly 10% chance, if... the check happens when someone is close enough and all other checks are passed as DogOnPorch stated.

 

 

Yes...you can be sold to anyone with a low enough reputation.

 

Okay thanks for the explanation!  Is there a way to check your reputation?  I know it has to do with the alignment but the way it works kinda confuses me. also is there a way to force this event using the console command?  could i even change my reputation using the console command?
