Player Slave Encounters (Updated Oct 18)

Getting enslaved by a mobile slaver ends up in a terribly dull walk without any clear idea of when it's going to end, it's been going on literally for more than a hour (also, sex animations on this point aren't working for no apparent reason and they just stand there moaning, just to make it duller since it worked fine at the treasure hunter questline). I just want to end up as a housemaid for Lord Pellham, is this the only way or can I end up at the slaver camp without having to go through the random, boring and uncertain process?

Hold down K for a few seconds to have the Slave Trader teleport directly to the slave camp with you in tow. You could also open the console, select the slave trader and enter the command "SetForceRun 1" to give him a bit more oomph to his step.

Thank you very much! I'll give it a try right away.

Edit: That trick worked, but there's even more missing animations (this time at least with the bear and Lord Pellham, most likely everything else this encounter has). I'm pretty sure I've installed everything correctly though, so I've got no idea what's going on.

Are slave traders supposed to be hostile to conjurers and bandits?  My PC was enslaved by conjurers in a fort and after waiting a good while I spawed a trader via the console.  But he was attacked by the conjurers, WrappyOne's RaperS then started g-rape on him, and I bailed on that scenario.  I eventually added the traders to the conjurer faction to get the sale (of my PC to the trader) to work, but later the trader was attacked by bandits (and died).  I currently have PSE loaded after my bashed patch.

Something else you have loaded or have had loaded at some point is causing that, Sarnaath. I've had my unfortunate heroines traded by bandits and conjurors to the travelling slavers many times.

I was afraid of that.  I don't know which mod it could be.  It will be a pain to figure out.  Thanks.

I had a similar problem. Odd thing is that it seemed to be character/save related. A new character cleared up my bandits attacking the trader. Agreement on hunting such issues down being a pain.

I should probably know this, but do NPCs who enslave you steal equipped armor/weapons?  My PC got enslaved by conjurers in a fort, traded to a slaver trader, taken to the slaver camp, sent off to Lord Pelham's, and finally freed.  I am trying to recover  my PC's equipment.  Finally tracked down the sack and everything I had equipped on my PC is missing.  The fort cell has reset and the conjurer who originally ensaved my PC is gone, as is the trader who showed up.

I use WrappyOne's RaperS, but don't have that set up to steal anything.  Is the quipment gone forever?

It might be.  When enslaved by a humanoid they steal everything over a certain gold value. Equipment, alchemy tools, misc. items.  Possible to lose Daedric artifacts this way as Azura's Star and the Skeleton Key are always stolen.

Damn.  I am missing the skeleton key.  Didn't even notice, the game has been letting me use it regardless.  Maybe I'll just go back to an old save.

edit:  I went back to an older save after being sold to the trader.  Escaped, killed him, went back, killed the conjurers.  One had my missing stuff.  The downside is that Lord Pelham's quest was in the other line of saves.  I don't mind having gear stolen, but only so long as I can recover it.

Does PSE introduce death penalty?

and if you are a real menace to society then it is a dance on the gibbet

This means death by hanging right? I've never got a chance to explore PSE Rough Justice fully.

Posted

Yup.  Death by hanging, in birthday suit, front of a very happy crowd.  Some rather interesting comments from the executioners, too.

Just an oddball encounter for an aside - I once had my gal captured by the IC guard, figuring on a long hiatus in the square or perhaps some indentured servitude.  Nope.  Paraded her directly to the hanging er blocks?  Nah, wrong word. (Gallows, sir.)  Anyway, directly to the hanging area (on the road outside Weye) and then, instead of the hanging she feared, she was sold to the slave trader.  That was an odd one.

There's a small chance the Justicar is corrupt and sells you off instead of carrying out a sentence.

The problem was save related.  I deactivated a handful of mods, rebuilt the bash patch, loaded up the save game with the problem, created a new save, relaunched the game, and the problem was fixed.  Added the deactivated mods back in one at at time, the problem never reoccured.  I have no idea why the conjurers attacked the slave trader.  Ah well.

I screwed up and was testing the wrong PSE esp.  When I went back to the original I was unable to fix the problem, even after deactivating every mod except Oblivion.esm, Lovers, and PSE.  Perhaps a new game is required.

There's a modified esp posted earlier in this thread with Ichabod's permission (too lazy to check post number, sorry), that stops any loss of inventory items via PSE events (although it won't prevent RaperS from taking stuff if you have that allowed). It's intended to nullify the 'empty sack' bug, but it does stop respawning NPCs from perma-robbing you as well.

I'm in the middle of the horror of the ayleids quest, and I reached what appears to be the end of the temple. There was a room with a big fire, and I put it out, but nothing has updated to explain what to do now.

EDIT: Nevermind for some reason my cursor vanished for a minute and I hadn't seen the tablet.

I have problem with this feature. My player health gets lowered to 1 HP and then nothing happens. The players just hangs.

I use the death overhaul called a Champion's Death.

The hanging events always end like that; 1 hp and dangling helplessly in an animation suggesting you're dead and everyone declaring it is so.

I think it's because PSE doesn't include a deathcam mod like "No Load Screen on Death" (not sure what Champion's Death does), so leaving you technically alive is PSE's way of letting you see what happens around your character as she expires. For roleplaying purposes you should consider your character dead at that point, and proceed to load an earlier save or start a new character. And unless you have some mod or cheat to help, it's not like you have any other ways out.

Dear wise people...

Please, help! I've been trying to make this awesome mod work for some time now. I've reintalled the game several times, only with PSE and LPK and some other stuff, but the issue persists. I also revised the load order, bashed and unbashed stuff, used other lovers versions, but the problem is the same:

When I get enslaved, the npc tries to hit me repeatedly, when it doesnt attack, it sheaths its weapon to attack again on sight. Any quest triggered event wont happen no matter what, except for the walks (the slave trader walks up to the boat, eg, but he stays there and if he sees me, he hits until I faint).

As said, I've tried everything in my short range of problem solving knowledge to play it properly, but I simply cant.

Thanks in advance!

You have to turn on slavery mode using the spell you get when you activate the mod.  The AI is stuck in a feedback loop, wanting to attack, stopping to attempt to parse ownership packages, then switching to attack again.  I had the same exact problem the first time I tested PSE.

You mean the Player Slave Settings? It's on... : (

what other mods are you using?

Right now, after spending the whole day (I'm a lazy lad on vacations... lol) installing and uninstalling stuff, I'm using pretty much LPK and PSE, besides the basics (OOO, MBP, DMRA armor/clothing repl., one alt star esp and a mod to show all fast travel spots - but I tried before installing these, except OOO and MBP)...

I figured a stupid way to proceed... I assigned myself and the slave trader (as well as EVERYONE that bugs me) to the order of the Mythic Dawn (y).

I suspected there was some issue regarding the faction stuff (dunno how it works exactly, but I tought it could be)...

So I ask (if you guys don't come to know any better way to solve this), do you know to what faction was I suposed to belong and its code so I could manually join it?

Thanks!
