JSmith20142 Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Um, yes, that's a mess; not surprised you're having problems. The usual advice - run BOSS to sort your non-lovers plugins, then consult the example load order (link in the first post in this thread) http://www.loverslab.com/topic/4487-please-read-before-posting-here/ and hand-sort your lovers plugins to match. OBMM or WryeBash is a must. It is not an issue if you don't have some of the plugins listed in the example order. Put the lovers plugins after everything else, and pay especial attention to _the ones that must go at the end_ Your MBP installation is very incomplete, and will probably lead to missing textures at the least.. I see no bashed patch; this is OK if you're very careful.
allista Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Thanks for the advices! The funny thing is, I did all this (BOSS, sorting with OBMM following the example). At some point. And then I got lazy, shame on me =\ I would very appreciate if you tip me on how to correctly complete the MBP installation, for I again followed (at least tried to follow) sophisticated instructions on the page that provided the plugins. I also have no clue on how to use WryeBash. Will dig into documentation...
JSmith20142 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 You don't actually need WryeBash if you have OBMM, although WB gives you some very nice tools without even getting into the heavier lifting part of it - e.g. it will flag missing masters. That's the good news. The bad news is that the simplest way to install MBP is to use the all-in-one http://www.loverslab.com/topic/2590-mbp-allin1-omod-v21beta/ This assumes you're using WB and are going to merge the MBP files into your bashed patch. It is possible, although trickier, to get it to work without a bashed patch, but I don't really recommend it. WB is a bit daunting, but you don't need most of the functionality to do what you want. See http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/35230/? You should end up with around 20 MBP esm/esp's after installing the all-in-one. When building your bashed patch it is absolutely essential that you deactivate _all_ lovers (this includes tamago) plugins (click them off in OBMM) _before_ building the patch. Did I mention that this step is essential? It _is_ . I tend to go a step further and deactivate everything but the bare minimum before building the patch; this stops WB from breaking plugins by merging their scripts into the patch. Once you have built your bashed patch, turn on all the plugins you deactivated. My advice is to move the bashed patch above your lovers/tamago files in your load order, just in case.
allista Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I did what you suggested: changed load order and built bashed patch from the mods shown in red in the example list. This canceled some of the benefits of the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, but the game become more stable and "Goblin's Bitch" quest now starts (I did not mentioned this, but previously I had to start it manually through the console). Alas, pressing 'L' still does not do anything. *here's current load order: Oblivion.esmBeautiful People 2ch-Ed.esmx117race.esmLovers with PK.esmTamagoClub.esmHiyokoClub.esmLoversCreature.esmUnofficial Oblivion Patch.espUOPS Additional Changes.espUOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.espOblivion Citadel Door Fix.espDLCShiveringIsles.espUnofficial Shivering Isles Patch.espUSIPS Additional Changes.espDLCShiveringIsles Vwalk.espOblivion Vwalk UOS.espBedrollsanyone.espFlyingCameraMod.espkuerteeAutoFirstThirdPersonView.espNPCs Eat More.espPTRoamingNPCs.espDLCVileLair.espDLCVileLair - Unofficial Patch.espDLCMehrunesRazor.espDLCMehrunesRazor - Unofficial Patch.espDLCMehrunesRazor Vwalk.espEVE_StockEquipmentReplacer.espTyler's Horses.espSellHorses.espDLCThievesDen.espDLCThievesDen - Unofficial Patch.espDLCThievesDen - Unofficial Patch - SSSB.espDLCThievesDen Vwalk.espkuerteeWanderingEncounters.espDLCFrostcrag.espDLCFrostcrag - Unofficial Patch.espKnights.espKnights - Unofficial Patch.espKnights Vwalk.espEVE_KnightsoftheNine.espCurseman's Anti Extinction Mod.espEVE_ShiveringIslesEasterEggs.esp2nd to 1st person.espRandomEncounters.espweather inside [seasons] v1.2.2D.espSeasonalWeather.espBreakArmor.espReplacer - Blackwood (mergeable).espReplacer - Dwarven (mergeable).espkuerteeClothingMatters.esp'Eagle Eye' Realistic Archery v1.0 Fixed.espSM Encumbrance and Fatigue.espBasic Primary Needs.espTamagoDischarge.espLoversTamagoClub.espHiyokoGenetics.espHiyokoGenerator.espTamagoSetBody.espLoversFSE.espLoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP.espLoversVoiceSSPplus.espLoversRaperS.espLoversJoburg.espLoversBed.espLoversPayBandit.espLovers with PK.espLoversBitch.espLoversCreature.espLoversSoundCreature.espLoversStopCombatEx.espLoversEscapeRapeVPlayer.espLoversUnicorn.espPlayerSlaveEncounters_V0.69.espLoversTrueCrimeEx.espLoversCalm.espLoversSoundVolumeDown.espLoversBackup2.espLoversBreakArmor.espSetBody.espWoman's Move - Animation Replacer.espAnwolf Race.espAMB.espHead06 Replacer.espBashed Patch, 0.espLoversMB2.espLovers3dorgasmMB2.espLoversIdleAnimsPriority.espLovers3dorgasm.espLoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp
JSmith20142 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I would move your bashed patch to follow BasicPrimaryNeeds. The more mods you have after PSE, the more chance that something's going to hijack the 'L' key. In Oblivion, in case of conflict, the last to load wins. I would suggest moving these up above the Lovers mods too : Woman's Move - Animation Replacer.espAnwolf Race.espAMB.espHead06 Replacer.esp unless you have a really good reason for them being so low. If this makes no difference, you could try moving PSE down to be immediately above LoversMB2. What happened to MBP? Where are all the ESPs?
allista Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 All MBP ESPs except the last one (which I missed somehow from the list, but it's there and activated) are merged into the bashed patch and disabled as is said in comments to the example list. I'll try to move the patch, but it is too on its place according to the example list. I'll report the results shortly. UPD: no, still the same =(
gregathit Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Allista, did you start a new game to test things? Reloading a current save after making a load order change doesn't work.
JSmith20142 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I'm not sure how you're generating your load list. Use WryeBash to do it, and the merged mods will still show, but their merged state will be indicated. Incomplete load orders can be worse than useless. The example load order is just that, an example. It isn't set in stone, heretical though that may sound. Moving your BP isn't a high-risk operation. Did you move PSE right down? Does the console output show anything when you're trying to escape? It should be updating your escape chance, things like that.
allista Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I've generated load order list using OBMM, that's why merged ESPs are missing. Yes, I did move BP up and PSE right down. Console output shows updates on escape and lockpick chances and lockpicks are slowly accumulating in the inventory. If I disable minigame, the character breaks free according to the escape chance alright. No, I did not start a new game. Will try it now...
gregathit Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Allista, if you are using Wrye Bash then it really is best to post your load order from it. If you don't know how to do so, then just read this: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/4487-please-read-before-posting-here/ Instructions on how to get your load order via both OBMM and Wrye Bash are there. Cheers, Greg

JSmith20142 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Not the reason for your problem, but you don't appear to have anything merged into your bashed patch, and you are missing almost all of MBP (at least a dozen files). It's safer to rename your PSE .esp to PlayerSlaveEncounters.esp, with no version number. I don't think that's your problem either, though. Edit : His BP is where it is because I suggested it, Gregathit, so that's my fault.
gregathit Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Ok, something is very badly wrong here. Why is Beautiful People 2ch-Ed MS Elves - NoSc.esp below your bashed patch? And where in the heck are the other 8+ MBP esp files? Your bashed patch should be either just above PSE or just below it. IF you have the other MBP files there they should be showing up in the list with ++ or ** in front of them (instead of a hexadecimal number\letter).
frostking Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Either Wapy1s' Rapers, (with version 2 ini), or LPK Extender, (version2), is not working well with this mod. Enslavement sex, at least in Hackdirt, functions normally, up to the finish, but does not end. Had to roll-back both to version 1, to restore functionality. Not sure if this is a known issue, or not, but thought I'd point it out.

gregathit Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 PK Extender is not designed to work with rape. There is a reason you are supposed to set the progression to manual via the jump key (impossible during rape). PK Extender is only meant for consensual sex.

I've figured out how to activate the IchMinigameChest through the console and thus may break free if enslaved, but it of course kills the immersion. And chance-dependent "wrigling-out" is much less entertaining, in my opinion. So, maybe the author could provide me with edited version of PSE.esp with some debug messages around "HANDLE ESCAPE" logic in the script? =)
JSmith20142 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 It still seems most likely that something has hijacked the 'L' key. What OBSE plugins do you have installed (and what OBSE version, come to that)? When you say you activated the minigame via the console, what did you do? I could give you a version which uses a different key, and adds some debugging, but I'm kinda busy right now. Ichabod (the author) is reportedly taking a break from Oblivion and modding FNV at present. As to your load order, that looks much better. You'll find you've benefited from installing MBP, as mods like ImmoralGuards, ImmoralSisters and Bravil Underground will now function (which are must-haves IMO). Fejeena has provided non-MBP versions, but the NPCs are, well, ugly. Note that you should only have one of Lop-ears Elf.esp and Lop-Ears Elf_mini.esp, not both.
allista Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Activation through the console: prid XX0458E1 ;I don't have the esp opened right now, typing refid from memory lock 7 activate player OBSE v20 Plugins: Elys_USV.dll NPC_tex_tweak.dll OBSE_Elys_Pluggy.dlx OBSE_Elys_Pluggy_HUD.dll obse_jail_fix.dll obse_training_fix.dll Thanks for advice about the mods, will try them =) About different key: maybe just use some bootstrap script many other mods have to prompt for the key on first run? E.g. like this from LoversStriper: scn aaaDanceRingScript short once long dancekeys ref dancer begin gamemode set dancer to getcontainer if once == 0 message "Choose your dance start key" set dancekeys to getkeypress 0 if dancekeys > 20 && dancekeys < 26 || dancekeys > 33 && dancekeys < 39 || dancekeys > 46 && dancekeys < 51 set startkey to dancekeys messageboxex "Dance Start Key '%k' %r |Close",startkey,1 player.additemns aaaDanceRing2 1 set once to 1 endif endif end
JSmith20142 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Don't see any issues in the OBSE plugins either. PSE is something of a mess, structurally. This isn't intended as criticism of Ichabod, who has been a victim of his own and his mod's success; the mod just got away from him a bit (strictly IMO, of course). This being so, it's non-trivial to add code fragments such as you're suggesting at appropriate places, and trivial is all I have time for right now. What I can do really quickly is to store the activator for the minigame in a quest variable rather than have it hardcoded as it is at present; then you can use the console to change the activator - hopefully until you find one that works. Interested?
lurkerfrombelow Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Seems like a bit of a mess. If I have to be honest, activating the mini-game has been a bit hit or miss for me as well, so just to be sure: have you tried holding down the 'L' key for varying amounts of time? It kinda feels like there is a sweet spot where you have to hold it down for slightly longer than a normal keypress, but not too long either. Otherwise.. I have to admit, the minigame has always been kind of awkward for me; on one hand I want it to be so hard to escape that I can't just wriggle free at will, but on the other hand a lot of the built-in quests assume you can escape (eventually). I haven't ever found a sweet spot for difficulty, so I usually assume my character can't escape until I hit a dead end/loop, then load and escape by hax and go back to not being able to escape captivity next time until the plot has played out to a dead end or loop. Depending on the excitement you would derive from the old lockpicking UI, this may be a plausible way for you as well, even if it isn't as nice with immersion as a well balanced minigame would be.
JSmith20142 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I didn't say what I'd offered was pretty. I'm knee-deep in two other mods at present, and anyway, PSE is Ichabod's mod. He has graciously allowed me to post a modified version (so you can't lose your gear if the sack/chest is bugged) before, but I'm not getting into wholesale restructuring of it. BTW, the lockpick minigame has always worked for me. The function used, IsKeyPressed3, returns 1 for as long as the specified key is held down, so depending on what else is going on, holding it down for longer may well have the desired effect.
allista Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Why, I certainly am interested! =) Yes, I tried to hit 'L' many times in a series, to hold it for some time, and so on.
