How to have 100+ hair mods with no CTD!

Today I hop on Dragonporn like every morning and what do I see "showRaceMenu PreCacheKiller" http://dragonporn.ldblog.jp/archives/6973551.html well obviously the sites in japanese along with the linked download site http://www1.axfc.net/uploader/so/2821796.zip so I figured most of us wouldn't be able to understand it so I come baring translation for the most part.

 

Pretty much you just download the the showracemenu_precachekiller.dll and stick it in your SKSE plugin folder its for 1.6.9 so make sure your up to date. When you finish placing all of your hair mods in your load order (You can literally use them all now). Start up skyrim go to new game (its where you'd usually CTD) You will notice that you can change races without that long delay. Changing between Khajiit is almost instant and changing to female takes little to no time 2 secs for me. And changing to female imperial took me only 4 secs. Congratulations everyone hairs galore!

 

Personally I use to be only able to run basic appachii hairs without the female pack. female pack made me ctd so I had only the basic and male. just 2 packs. Now I have Apachii, male ,female, sims1 & 2 and pony tails  (then ran out of load order lol)

Edit 3/14: Currently doesn't work with 1.9 beta but Expired6978 (Creator of the RaceMenu Mod) plans to make an update for this once the update is released. :D

I actually didnt have the plugin folder, but i follow the instructions and in my Data folder i create a SKSE that i didnt have either and in the SKSE i create the Plugins folder, i put the showracemenu_precachekiller.dll and worked perfectly!! i've been waiting a long time to solve this problem but now is finally fixed.

Wow, just tried it and works flawlessly, I was kinda skeptical but 308 hairstyles and the menu showed up the moment I pressed enter. I don't know what kind of witchcraft is at work here but it's brilliant, black magic at it's finest. Thank you for posting this.

used today with 250+hairs, and about 13-20 races, and 0 CTD, thanks for sharing that man.

I'm now up to 379 hairs 981 eyes no problems so far other then out of 981 eyes there not a single one close to what I want guess I'm going to have to go through all of them find the best one that I saw in game and modify the color myself.

Thank you!  This is working great for me too!  I had crossed my fingers everytime I went into the showracemenu, and it worked maybe 1 out of 7 attempts.  Now it works every time like magic!  :heart:

Well hot damn, it actually works! Huuuuge thanks for bringing this to attention. I saw it as a hot file on the Nexus but was like "meh yeah right...". Didn't think it would work, as I've tried dozens of bogus "solutions" for the problem.

  Yea, though this mod working the way it did just made me astral project for a bit...got my vote for most crucially overdue mod. 22.76% of all the stress of any bugged out overmodding nonsense was immediately erased by the end of public release of this mod for 24 hours. Call The Queen Mum, the author of this mod is sure thing to win nobel prize, as well as being knighted. but better than those classless awards, once i find it imma send him $100.00 worth of assorted Lottery Tickets. "BEST GIFT EVER!"
