I downloaded all required mods, run the bat file(s) and copied the folder into the correct place. In game i selected my character with the heyboard shortcut and enabled all Animations. Did i miss something important? You've done everything correctly. Maybe I broke that menu page again when editing the MCM script. I will look into it. 1
poporaltemporal Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Having same problem as Numen13. I also think that DAR is choking to the extended logic gates. Thinking that if you track actor elligiblity to the animations in faction values. It should be irrelevant to test if actor is child, elder, female and so on in the DAR test. You could rely heavily on actor values and use those as "cache values". I used to use this mod earlier only as arousal idles and never went through the spreadsheet. There are some very nice animation packs there that I did not even know existed. However there are lacks as well. As user I am pretty torn about the installation hassle and how complicated it is. As it seems that you get missing file notices from the bat scripts. Also as my computer is not the newest piece I don't like to have all posers and dance animations and DAR tests. So its bit sad. Also "neutral" or base animations like "Just new female animations" are pretty much senseless to install as DAR package. Therefor I am not sure if Live Action should quire it in the install process but it should be perhaps optional hard requirement. I am not sure how the DAR works but as engineer I am worried about the empty condition directories that have still conditions written. DAR is probably forced to check all conditions even there are no animations in the folder. It would be therefor wise to delete all condition directories that do not contain any animations (there are plenty of them).

I'll see what can be done to slim down the installation and script code. I am quite busy with RL so it could take some time to address everything. The movement animation packs are indeed somewhat redundant now with all the DAR options available at Nexus. It's probably possible to write another batch file that will check if the folders contain hkx files and if not then delete them. 1

Now every user can troubleshoot their own installation, which frees up time for the modders and users to actually enjoy xEdit the game. That said, I will have time to work on the mod after two weeks from, not sooner. 1
unwashed biomass Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 (edited) I have same problem with this scanner thingy in MCM. Also randomizer don't seems to work for NPCs at all. For player when aroused it works flawlessly. Prolly it's related to scanner error. Also one question i have: Is RIA for Aroused Creatures needed when using Live Action or LA is replacement. Edit: It currently kinda works for npc's, but there are 2 issues: 1. I need to manually add npc for randomizer 2 kick in - prolly this scanner issue. 2. When animations kick in for npc's (tested on aroused ones included in mod by default) they play exactly one loop and character is going back to standard idle. Corvo269 Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 As others have mentioned. Version 3.5 has the scanner not initializing, so animations like dance, and aroused idles don't play half the time for NPCs. Works fine for player though 1

Thanks for the suggestion. I changed the version to the previous one and it works perfectly. I will try version 3.5 again following your suggestions

The scanner should only matter for handling NPCs that have been configured separately and the cooldowns set for fighting, sleeping and swimming. By default, all female followers and marriageable female NPCs should be processed without the scanner active. RIA Aroused Creatures does not have to be there but it adds more animation variety. Choose either this mod or RIA to keep things simple. You can mix and match if you modify RIA conditions to fit the conditions in Live Action or vice versa. The instructions say : 1A) Mod Manager - Install with Mod Organizer 2, or any other mod manager capable of FOMOD install. 1B) Manual install - copy and paste animation folder(s) into \data\meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions. 2) Download animation packs from links inside spreadsheet. Place in \Auto_LA. Do NOT extract. 3) Run Live Action.bat. . I do not have this file but one named : extrat-and_rename . Is it the same ??? 4) Move renamed files to \data\meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions The wrong file name is my mistake. You indeed have to run "extract_and_rename.bat". The error message appears because you either did not place the archives inside \Auto_LA folder or the total folder path is too long as was mentioned. (maybe too silly, but well)... Is to use CAO (Cathedral Assets Optimizer) so it converts your HKX (animations) to SSE format. Then, you can set DAR Explorer to use the path of your Skyrim LE... and you should be able to "watch" them using it. Of course, I strongly suggest to BACKUP your Skyrim beforehand, as converting your animations to SSE format will make them unusable in LE. Anyway... As I said... it's a SILLY SUGGESTION.

Mm mm m ÑooOUIUOIuu ÑOoOUUU ñoou. Thanks dude, I can't, too much time and risk. I once corrupted update.esm with NPCvisualTransfer lol. I will have to port into SE someday but for the moment I'll be forgotten amd your comment makes me feel a bit better.
