I am so so sorry if this is answered somewhere I spent a fair while looking and couldn't find an answer. I broke away at one point inside the mine, found the torture dungeon including relevant furniture, Is there a way that your character ends up there? Also, does that scene in the mod description play out? so far i seem to just mine eat sleep repeat hahahaha. Again so sorry im sure these answers are somewhere. Please forgive my Noobness. 1

No, alas, that part was added by one of the previous owners of this mod and they never did anything with it and I don't have the skills to do anything with it. Really, I probably should have just added my shovel as a patch to the original but those get lost so easily I chose to go this way. That scene is actually an excerpt from one of my blog stories from a playthrough using this mod. It is slightly embellished for narrative's sake. But I'm glad you like it! 1

I cant find Simple Slavery plus plus for SE to try and trace some good SE tie ins. No clue how i found it the first time!! thank you again, legend mate 1

Slavery outcomes that I know are currently actively supported include Sanguine's Debauchery Submissive Lola the Resubmission Deviously Cursed Loot Probably others, maybe someone else can chime in on that. Most of the others haven't been worked on in a while but still mostly work, although your mileage may vary depending on your Devious Devices version (looking at you, Slaverun).
Neonrain1015 Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Hey, I've been having this issue where, after my character gets branded at the beginning, the effects (screaming, facial expressions, hissing, camera shake etc.) continue well after the scene has ended. As of writing this, I've just entered the mine for the first time, and it's still going. Anyone else have this issue, and has anybody found a fix for it? Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, I haven't heard of that before. Did you try reloading a save from before the mine?

Turns out, the problem was that I was using free camera, bc I like to use it when I'm not in control of the player, and that was screwing with the scene. Seems like I'm fine so long as I stay in the regular camera.

Seems like I'm fine so long as I stay in the regular camera. Good to know. I recommend first person for the branding scene. It's really effective (when it fires properly).

Try putting it last in your load order - that seemed to work for the guy two posts above this 1

I don't know what the issue is - some overwriting conflict with another mod, i suspect.

I've decided to shelve this mod for a future playthrough, with a different mod list; if it's some kind of compatibility issue, it might work for me in the future!

Useful, certainly, but you don't necessarily need it.

Even the scripting jankiness was a lot more tame than other mods; I thought everything ran smoothly. One suggestion: maybe update the main page to better explain escaping? I had to comb through the topic to find information on the Administrative Building (and it was still hard to find, but I blame how unintuitive Skyrim mountain pathing can be). The rest of the main page is so well written and answered every question I had about the mod, so that omission seemed glaring. (I mean, ideally it would be a quest marker/update, but I understand how difficult it is to touch the original mod code).
junky1234 Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 I think a start would be having the shovel appear at a random time between X hours and days so you cannot instantly escape. The resting key seems to have issues as well. Whipping seems to do excessive damage as well, not sure why.

I do still need to move it a little farther away, though. If you're lucky enough to have an mcm, you can turn off the damage for the whipping, as I recall, and I think you can rebind the rest key?

I thought I put something about you might have to go all the way around the mountain or something. I'll look again
DonQuiWho Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 FWIW, 1 - The Q key is a dreadful choice for initiating the 'rest' option. If anyone ever updates this again, that really really should be changed. Why? It totally screws with SKSE's weapon selection menu, which is accessed from the 'Q' key, and I can't find any way of changing that. You see, and get the adverse effects 1st person, where the NPC crouch kicks in on selecting the SKSE menu, doesn't release when that's closed, and continues to screw with player FPV and weapon changes. Same thing can be seen in 3rdPV, which was the only way I could clearly see what was glitched, and work out the cause as being from here (I've never played the mod yet! - it's in the game as a possible random outcome from SS+ 2 - Not initially being able to get at the MCM to change it was a real hassle, but the solution I found and want to share here - this may not be possible for those not using MO1 - was to make sure that the 'Slaves of Tamriel - iNeed.esp' was loaded into the game in MO's L/H Pane, appears in the list of possible game plugins, but deselected (ie not ticked) from those really 'active' Anyway, I hope that's of help to someone out there.... 2

Except for not being able to remap Q to a button on my controllers, it's played very well so far. Could it be changed to be a shout? Several other mods like VR MIrror and VRIK use that to activate. I had no trouble starting the quest from the MCM menu. I also started it from the Realm of Lorkan, where I went in at 1st level with zero gear. I escaped (too easy IMO) and made it to Solitude. I've no idea how I'm going to get these devices off, however!
