I know that Slave Tats is a requirement but, it isn't a master.  Will this work without tats?  (I hate slave tats and want a good slavery mod)

Running the mod on SSE V1.6.640, does anyone know how to get past the "follow the guard" part of the intro? The guard stops right beside the door but he doesn't open it. I've tried converting the plugin from form 43 to 44, downloaded leakim's patch, and went through JayDrizzle's fix to no avail. Pick-pocketing the gate key from the guard and manually opening the door yourself did not progress the quest either.

I am mostly posting to answer a few future SOS when people get stuck with the start.  Having restarted and getting stuck before the first scene, I tried a few things that helped move things along.  (I am not sure which are necessary but I end up doing them all just trying to progress.  I play VR and thought it might be a unique incompatibility to that platform, but reading the support form,s other have got it to work in VR.  So i stuck with it a bit more that I typically would with a quest halting issue right at the outset. Approaching the branding scene from every possible point from dozens of saves, I think the issue might be elsewhere.

 

My current fix: (I will narrow these down when troubleshooting)

installed the patchby leakim

snap rotate the camera a bunch

Lowered all thresholds in ZAZ player leash

Occasionally if nothing else works I will active a script with AI and an animation involved

->I use VRIK to activate FillHerUp's push out animation

 

I used VRIK (or Dragonborne Speaks Naturally) to register the mod's rest command. Simply change input key to one the the number hotkeys and have VRIK simpulate a key press with the gesture system.

 

I also am adding an immersive pickaxe mod that will require you to physically swing the pick at the ore.  I can not get this to work with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29710?tab=description  Probably because SoT++ has a modified ore that doesn't use the vanilla mineorescript.

 

 

Other things to note for players wanting to start the mod:

Users should deactivate any defeat mods before right after entering the mine.  You will get whipped and loose health and the following scenes and consequences easily break things. ie. Mods can equip hand restraints that would keep you from working the mine.  Naked Defeat can put you on a ZAZ device that will halt the mod's quest progression breaking the flow completely.  Defeat mods can also get you sold back into slavery (which wouldn't make sense if you already entered this mod from simple slavery. Just some things to consider before starting.

Had this same problem.  Solved it by loading a save outside of the mod and consoled setstage SKI_Configmanagerinstance 1.  It has to be done before you enter slave area and you might have to do it a couple times depending on your script lag.

So, just tried this for 4 day's and have questions.  Is this just a mining mod?  Are the only consequences of disobedience is at the end of a whip?  No escorting for extra training at the torture room or personal bedroom?  Is there a way to end the quest?  (I thought getting a way would end the quest but, it stayed in my journal)  This has a ton of potential but falls flat unless it's just broken in my game.

It was never finished.  So yes: it is mining and whipping. Once you escape by picking up the shovel, you need to make your way to the top of the mountain where you will find a few buildings. Entering one of those should release the chains and end the quest.

Nemesis is supposed to be able to handle everything FNIS could, so it should work fine.

The original mod was based on http://www.chainganggirls.com/tibmm.htm . It falls flat because a way to escape was added to it.

im getting stuck after the branding scene and they pour water on me, the guard tells me to wake up and then nothing happens

I'm playing the SE version and got stuck after the branding for about 1 minute. Then I get stuck again in front of the mining area, for real this time. I waited at least 5 minutes(while doing other stuff of course).

Starting this mod via Simple Slavery results in... nothing. The mod initializes, but i do not get teleported. Even if i do teleport myself to the Dremir mine, there's another issue - no guard, that would open the cell after my character gets shaved and tattoos applied to. Any fixes for this?

UPD Patch from Leakim! really works. The menu is back where it belongs

P.S. And the modification is cool. Such “correct” slavery is sorely lacking. :)

@jfraser, I've been working on an update for Simple Slavery, and I noticed that the Slaves of Tamriel outcome is treated as being intended to only run once per playthrough.  After it's chosen as the outcome for the auction, SS untoggles SoT as an outcome in its MCM (though nothing prevents a player from reenabling it).  As you probably know (you might well be the one who set it up that way), a few other enslavement mods are treated like that, where it either doesn't make sense for a player to see them again or the quests weren't designed to reset for another enslavement.

 

Is this still correct for SoT++?

I think i set it up that way because at the time SoT did not have a way to exit the mod. I definitely wanted to include it because it remains the most immersive slavery experience available but it was also a one-way street. As I recall, my recommendation was to play SOT until you were tired of it and then go back to a previous save and pretend you had just escaped. 
 

I suppose there was no reason to have it turn itself off in simple slavery after the first time except perhaps the logic that if you went back a second time, they would surely recognize you and make sure it didn’t happen again. I dunno. I see no reason it could not be repeating at this point

after escaping is there any way to remove the quest and the rest mechanic? needing to sit down to regen stamina after escaping is rather redundant, or will it stop once i find a way to remove the restraints?

So when I go through the mod, in the very beginning, there's the branding scene, and then a little bit more of a follow up. Right when the warden tells the guard to take me into the cell, it pretty much kind of freezes up, everybody just stands around and nothing happens. Also the MCM is not present, it is disappeared. Now there could be the case of me doing something wrong, because I am still new to this particular mod, but I do have all of the requirements. So what's going on here and how can I fix it?

I need a little help, I use Skyrim SE so I guess I should download the version SlavesTamrielSE-2-1-1.zip but there is also a version called Slaves of Tamriel Plus Plus 2.1.7z since it doesn't say LE I guess it's for SE do I have to install both or which one do I install? and what is the difference between the two?

You install the SE version only. The other is LE.
