This is actually something I was working on when my modding rig blew up :)

Give me a couple weeks to get reorganized, and I'll get it finished.....

Dont make promises, it will be so disappointing if you dont. P;

well this would certainly be an interesting mod. I imagine this would lead to a whole outburst of new ice cream shops in skyrim.

has anybody been able to work on this idea or did it die?  i really would love to see it but i know i have no modding / art skills needed to make it come through

Hmm I suppose taking <insert bosytype> Khajiit texture, and going from there would likely be easier than from scratch.

I'll see if I can work any magic with this cbbe texture I have but don't expect much; I suck at this sort of thing.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I've been hammered with RL work for the last month. And honestly, it's a welcome change from the sparse work I was seeing in New York around this time every year.

In any event, I DO have this race nearly finished. All of the mesh work is finished (thanks in large part to b3lisario), and I'm about 70% complete with the texture set. Mixing animal fur and human skin is no easy task, but It's coming along nicely in the limited time I have available to work on it. I'm currently out of town with my laptop (which doesn't run the CK OR Skyrim quite well enough to work on this or much of anything else), and will be here for the rest of this week (and likely next). Hopefully I can find enough time while at home over this weekend to finish up the texture set, after which I'll try and get it (as well as about 3-4 other race mods) uploaded for next week.

But don't worry. This has NOT been forgotten or abandoned. It may take some doing, but it'll eventually arrive  ;)

Well how hard could it be? Import femtaur from WoW into 3D max, sexy up the character model a bit. Probably needs some severe skeleton work though, more than the current Skyrim user made skeleton mods can handle. That's why it hasn't been done yet. The hooves with that extra couple joints. Just doesn't exist. And if you want good looking udders on both breasts like in the first screen shot that would also require a souped up skeleton. I just know how to play with existing skyrim models and 3D max, don't know anything about how to make skeletons (although it's probably another aspect of 3D max it's just so in depth I don't know about it).

Here ya go (in a MUCH earlier phase of construction though)......

As stated in my earlier post, the texture work is very time consuming. And unfortunately, time is a rare commodity these days. I get to work on this stuff for a few minutes here and there before RL takes over and drags me away from it again. It IS still being worked on though. The patterning is the worst part as just when I think it can't get any better, I move things around a bit and find I was mistaken, and have to rework the normal map as well  :P
