I honestly don't understand the hostility towards paid mods. Quality modding is difficult and time consuming, I've never bought a mod but I probably would if it was good enough and the modder needed support to keep working on it. Their time, my money and it's supporting an individual creator; it's not like I'm paying a big game publisher for a skin or hat or whatever. yeah and u want to feed their greed that motivate them to increase the price if they realized more people start support them, do you really want the future of modding to be like this ? capcom should dmca they patreons just like nintendo, and all mods should be shared on some russian site like playgroundru, and supporting mod creators should be optional (like on paypal etc) not enforced... that's my opinion xD sharing is caring period

I'm not opposed to paid mods in principle. Modding these days is very time consuming and if it supports them so they can make more quality mods and faster then I don't mind supporting them. What I don't agree with is some of the prices they charge for them. $10-$20 is crazy for a single mod. You shouldn't be charging more than twice what a costume costs from a developer when they sell DLC skins.

i agree that creating nude model from scratch is amazing work and creators deserve support buttt, this way of thinking will ultimately lead to this site or any other modding site to enforce u to buy premium account to even see links to download free mods, since they can always say that they respect and support mod creators (or create some dumb rules like on falloutunderground).... there are better ways to encourage people to support like time exclusive mods and suporter status just like on nexus where supporters pick mods instantly and it become free in like month later or something, but currently modders have strict rules pay or gtfo ;/ so what if i like 2 or 4 or more mods but every single mod made by different creator and every single of them charge 5$-10$ for pledge that allow u to see links for download ? 2/4x5$-2/4x10$ this is just crazy

good thing there's ways to bypass patreon walls that still works until lazy patreon mods will patch it ;]

It's all about timing. Yes, there already exist nude mods long before then. However, the game is on promotion and on people's radar. As shown in the past, they don't care once the game is out. If people do a search on Resident Evil 3 game play and they're seeing nude mods already before the game has a chance to make it into people's hands. It's a bad sign to parents and social media. They also don't want to deal with annoying --urnalists.

 

Violence is more openly accepted, it's seen throughout history due to past wars and in general, it's in news outlet everywhere. Nudity on the other hand isn't something society will accept openly and it's something society wants to be able to still control and maintain. It's an adult privilege as well. If it was open to all, minors would more easily be exposed to such materials and they can be quite illresponsible with it.
