It will redownload any corrupted files. Right click the game in steam -> Properties -> Switch to Local Files tab -> Verify integrity of game files.

Haha, thanks. some 20G is OK to redown. but finally I found it was caused by fluffy modmanager. I used a clean one the problems gone.
