landess Posted January 17 Posted January 17 After my Hard drive died - all my Fallout stuff which I used 'Pre-Creation Club' was gone. I knew I'd eventually get around to playing again but given Bethesda's patch happy asses, I put it off knowing it would be a hassle. Whelp, I finally went for it - Archiving the older version and disabling patches as explained. Then learning to use MO2 for the first time. It began to feel like I had never modded a Bethesda game before. So I read and pushed and downloaded while I read and pushed some more. At the end of the day I just gave up. With a good nights sleep and the reality of crawling before walking again, I knuckled down and figured it all out Thanks to the instructions here. So far the only 'conflicts' are just a few 'lightning bolts' and after a couple days of heavy play - only one crash which has never happened again. I never had the Mod Manager before (that's how old my version was) and now everything is great. New Mods, New Playthrough, Fun. Thanks again!
Yetimaster321 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Hey, i just stumbled upon something in this guide that led to an error for me, resulting in game freezes. At the very top of the Guide, under the purple text there is the PreNG Download Link for Looksmenu 1-6-18, recommended for Users with the 1.10.163 Version. However, this should be Looksmenu Version 1-6-20. Using Version 1-6-18 led to my game constantly crashing during character creation. The Crash happens when going tothe Body Menu with "B", then pressing "C" for Clothes. This does not happen in the 1-6-20 Version. It is repeatable for me, so i assume this would happen to others too. Since Looksmenu is one of the very basic mod requirements of this guide, i hope someone that can edit that part can change it. 😀 Thank you!

Most likely, HighFPSPhysixFix or Buffout is configured incorrectly. 1.6.20 is not suitable for use with AAF.

However, upon your comment i ran and tested AAF in mutliple locations and it seems to work fine. Maybe i bricked my mods in the right way. 🤣

To get your CC mods working on your older game version, you will need the Backported Archive2 Support system mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81859 When using the older 1.10.163 version of the game, you need to use the appropiate version of the Unofficial Patcch for it which is version 2.1.5. It is listed under the Optionals at the very bottom. It works for both the GOG and Steam version. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81859
Samblk Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Hey guys, I too was caught by the update so I'm planning to downgrade my game,. However I do have a quick question for you guys. I was playing on version 1.10.984 and was able to get everything working right (after a lot of trial and error), BUT now that this recent update forced my hand, I have the option to go back to version 1.10.163. My question is which version would you all recommend and why? Thanks in advance.

The GOG version of Fallout 4 is ideal because it is already at 1.10.163 and drm free and you can install it to wherever you choose. it is the GOTY version which comes with all of the DLC. Its also on sale with 60% off. $16 usd currently. https://www.gog.com/en/game/fallout_4_game_of_the_year_edition Sometimes its on sale for even chaper. I think I paid $10 for my version when I got it. Edited January 20 by Sladen2019 2
DexterSat Posted January 23 Posted January 23 (edited) I have two questions.: 1. if you use zazout, do you need to remove the zaz extended skeleton mod? (penises don't move together anyway) 2. If alternative furry skins are used, how can the problem be fixed that the penis is replaced with a human one and the human and furry skins are mixed? P.S. installed mods A-Body and Atomic Bodies Edited January 23 by DexterSat

Holylokki Posted January 27 Posted January 27 7 minutes ago, DexterSat said: the fact of the matter is that it is installed Either the mod isn't installed. Or the mod plugin isn't activated. What the AAF tells you in plain text. There are no other options.
DexterSat Posted January 27 Posted January 27 2 hours ago, Holylokki said: Либо мод не установлен. Либо плагин мода не активирован. Вот что AAF сообщает вам в виде обычного текста. Других вариантов нет. but I need to turn off the buglog notifications.

Holylokki Posted January 27 Posted January 27 15 minutes ago, DexterSat said: what if my other mods conflict with them? I don't understand what you're talking about. You either fix mod compatibility issues or ignore them if they don't interfere with AAF. Spoiler 1
DexterSat Posted January 27 Posted January 27 19 hours ago, DexterSat said: как мне от этого избавиться? in case someone else needs it, I found the most interesting thing on the Russian forum. It is necessary to find the administration tab in the game via AAF using the DELETE key and select any other section and the DELETE button again.
NW_BEEZ Posted January 29 Posted January 29 is there an extension to this list? Im addicted to mods, but dont no much about load order and instalation order etc. thaks anyway
pussysuckerrr Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I need help, everyone! I am using **Vioxsis Strap-Ons (ZeX Bones fixed)** and have installed **SAM**, **SAM Skeleton Adjustments**, and **SAM-compatible Knee Fixes** as required. I then applied and activated the skeleton adjustments via the in-game SAM menu, but the strap-on still suffers from floating and stretching bugs. To add, I am using the **CBBE body**. Following the installation instructions, I placed the strap-on mod below **UAP** in my load order and built its mesh in **BodySlide**. I have double-checked everything multiple times, but the issue remains unresolved.
molly404 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Hello !! In the installation instruction there is the following : Quote "RSEII Framework & Mods (Skip Brothels entirely as it WILL break your game and cause CTD on Save. Only use Shenanigans if you save regularly as it CAN and WILL pull actors for scenes from conversations you're having and break something.)" Where am I supposed to "skip" brothels ? Is it a mod option or an in-game event ? Thank you for your help.

Fixed everything by doing the update reversion but can't for the life of me figure out why dicks no longer function. They stay flaccid. Reinstalled everything properly. All mods are working. Just can't get dicks to function. Nevermind, I'm blind. Fixed. what did you do to fix it?
