Mengsk Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Hello LoversLab, First of all, just want to say that English isn't my native language so there might be things I'll try to explain that just won't sound right and may be outright confusing, so if that happens please tell me and I'll rectify both on the post and in a reply. Second, I'm a total noob at modding and yes, I've been using Vortex (a.k.a Nexus Mod Manager) before finally switching to ModOrganizer last night (February 22nd 2020) which means I don't know how to use it properly. Third, when I usually stumble upon a bug I just uninstall the game and reinstall it back without really trying to find any proper solution. So, here's the deal.. Part One: The Problem Once upon a time in France there was a dude trying to install LoversLab mods along with a few other from the Nexus so that he could have a fun Skyrim experience (because honestly, Skyrim is bland contrary to TES IV). Unfortunately, he has installed many mods and doesn't know how to solve a very big problem: everytime he launches the game, it goes just fine, but upon loading or creating a new game, it crashes to desktop. Proper equivalent of the BSoD for Windows users, the CTD cannot be escaped at one point in our beloved Bethesda mass-modding adventure, but I'm better at solving BSoD's than CTD's. Part Two: Technicalities I play on a legal copy of Skyrim: Legendary Edition (v1.9.32) via Steam, which I'd preordered back in 2011 and eventually bought all extensions later in 2017-2018, and have the """High Resolution""" textures pack along with it. (I say """High Resolution""" because it's still sh*t even with those.) The current copy I have is a copy from an external HDD, because of my low connection. I can't download it everytime I need it, so I made a copy that I put back in my "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common" folder and validate back on Steam in case it needs to be, so it is (was?) clean. I downloaded the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) via Steam too, which should be build 1.7.3 and it has no issues loading. My Steam and Vortex NMM folders are installed on my M.2 ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\" and "C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex") while my Skyrim folder, LOOT, TES5Edit and ModOrganizer are located on my SSD ("D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim", "D:\LOOT\", "D:\TES5Edit", "D:\ModOrganizer) I installed all my vanilla mods via Vortex download from Nexus, and all my LoversLab mods via "MODS > Install From File" on Vortex NMM. Part Three: Game Loading Here is my load order, copy/pasted from my LOOT software: Spoiler Load Order | Mod Index | Mod Name 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp 6 6 ZaZAnimationPack.esm 7 7 SexLab.esm 8 8 Skyrim - Utility Mod.esm 9 9 Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm 10 a Devious Devices - Assets.esm 11 b SexLabAroused.esm 12 c Devious Devices - Integration.esm 13 d ApachiiHair.esm 14 e ClimatesOfTamriel.esm 15 f Devious Devices - Expansion.esm 16 10 HighResTexturePack01.esp 17 11 HighResTexturePack02.esp 18 12 HighResTexturePack03.esp 19 13 UIExtensions.esp 20 14 SexLabDefeat.esp 21 15 mslDeviousCaptures.esp 22 16 SOS - VectorPlexus Regular Addon.esp 23 17 FNIS.esp 24 18 RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp 25 19 XPMSE.esp 26 1a SOSRaceMenu.esp 27 1b FNISSexyMove.esp 28 1c Brows.esp 29 1d The Eyes Of Beauty - Elves Edition.esp 30 1e SkyUI.esp 31 1f FNIS_PCEA2.esp 32 20 Beards.esp 33 21 Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp 34 22 ImmerSlave-DeviceCut.esp 35 23 Devious Devices - Gags+.esp 36 24 Masque of Clavicus Vile.esp 37 25 PetCollar.esp 38 26 GagSFX.esp 39 27 GagSFXDawnguard.esp 40 28 GagSFXDragonborn.esp 41 29 SLAnimLoader.esp 42 2a GagSFXHearthfires.esp 43 2b Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp 44 2c SexLab Submit.esp 45 2d sanguinesDebauchery.esp 46 2e xazPrisonOverhaul.esp 47 2f Deviously Cursed Loot.esp 48 30 SexLab_Dialogues.esp 49 31 Skyrim Flora Overhaul.esp 50 32 DeviouslyHelpless.esp 51 33 dD Enchanted Chests.esp 52 34 Immersive Weapons.esp 53 35 Schlongs of Skyrim.esp 54 36 SOS - Shop.esp 55 37 KS Hairdo's.esp 56 38 RaceMenu.esp 57 39 RaceMenuPlugin.esp 58 3a ClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.esp 59 3b ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp 60 3c ClimatesOfTamriel-Dungeons-Hazardous.esp 61 3d ClimatesOfTamriel-Interiors-Warm.esp 62 3e ClimatesOfTamriel-Nights-Level-2.esp 63 3f RaceMenuSKYAVX.esp 64 40 Devious Devices - Equip.esp 65 41 DeviousTraining.esp 66 42 DeviousTrainingMartyr.esp 67 43 Spank That Ass.esp 68 44 Spank That Ass - Butter Balm.esp 69 45 Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp 70 46 Alternate Start -- New Beginnings.esp 71 47 Deviously Cursed Loot LAL AddOn.esp Fores' New Idle Animations (FNIS) is loaded with the two first patches, that are "GENDER Specific Animations" and "SKELETON Arm Fix" Here is my FNIS log: Spoiler FNIS Behavior V7.6 23/02/2020 16:37:32 Skyrim 32bit: 1.9.32.0 - D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam) Skeleton(hkx) female: XPMS2HDT (126 bones) male: XPMS2HDT (126 bones) Patch: "GENDER Specific Animations" Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Installing FNIS PCEA2 Reading DD V4.0.0 ... Just in case. Part Four: Startup When I start the game, the main menu appears without any issues, and when I load an old save or start a new game, it goes to the loading screen, with the empty experience bar top right saying "Level 1", and shortly after it crashes. ----- I don't really know what to do - what to enable, disable? What to uninstall, install or reinstall? What to add, delete or modify? My load order is much, much smaller than some who load countless mods, but I still don't know (with 60+ mods) what to do in my case. I'd be immensely grateful if anyone could help. Thanks in advance, Mengsk

Pay attention to any errors/warnings given by LOOT. 20 minutes ago, Mengsk said: I don't really know what to do - what to enable, disable? What to uninstall, install or reinstall? What to add, delete or modify? The usual CTD resolution is to remove a batch of mods (starting from the end of the load order), see if the problem persists, then repeat until the game loads normally. From there, add some until you find what is causing it. At that point you can google the crash in relation to that mod and see what might be causing it. If you are starting over with MO, then you should follow a guide (the STEP guide is my preference, but there are others) to make sure everything is set up correctly and working. From there, look at MadManGun's Sexlab install guide.

I would, personally, normally add/remove mods one at a time, depending on what they are but I don't see any harm in removing a batch of mods as suggested. I would give up on your saved games for now. Test with starting new ones.
Grey Cloud Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 All of the above plus: Choose either Vortex or MO and remove the other one. Mengsk Posted February 24, 2020 Author Posted February 24, 2020 Hello guys, thank you so much for the support. So, I'll first try by fixing a few things like the Alternate Start removal or the RaceMenu load order issue. I'll also remove Vortex because it doesn't have some functionalities I've discovered in ModOrganizer, and if nothing works I'll delete my current Skyrim build and make a new one following GreyCloud's STEP link plus following all you guys' tips. 19 hours ago, Seijin8 said: Not all mods should be cleaned this way. LOOT tells you which ones need it and more importantly, which ones don't. Pay attention to any errors/warnings given by LOOT I cleared only those who needed it, as advised by LOOT. Those who were already marked 'clean' aren't touched. See you in a bit!
