It's not likely to be coming from TAP itself, though. Even though the mod has a great many scripts, the scripts are all pretty light. 1

And yes, i mean "new game" because i'm still used to thinking of "new save files" instead of having thousands of saves). speaking of saves, i wanted to reload back a few months of incremental mod testing and find something stable, but i deleted some 1.5 GB worth of saves from years of playing this game and obsessively saving into a new slot because having only one quick save slot is stupid in a game where the cause of crashing might have been a few hours back. (Though this is less of a problem with Skyrim SE, i've lost hours of progress in LE because saves couldn't be loaded and i wasn't sure when the issue started. I just can't this time because again, i deleted all saves from before this year began. Which if you check the time stamp, means that's after the issue began. New game, new character. Use sexlab to get going, and carriage to get to falkreath. startquest TAPQDG02 forces the quest to start, I get force greeted by a courier with curiously vibrant hair indicating it's probably not vanilla but i'm not sure, gives me a note from a mutual friend i've never met, told to whore in the inn. Go to said in, need a license, go to Jarl's gopher, get license, whore myself out, crashes the instant sex starts the second time. Just like it happens in my game. Curious. NPC is named Sintaba you said, and i know that some NPC mods don't play friendly with "Yiffy Age of Skyrim" Because the above mod is kinda aggressive and changes a lot of records. Most of the time you can just make sure Yiffy Age runs after whatever else and all else is fine. Worst case, you might get a weird headless critter with floating eyes and teeth. removing Yiffy Age is too invasive with all the patching i've had to do to make things all nice and tidy. But, using "Help Sinbata" to find a copy of that npc and placing at me via console instantly causes game to freeze. Music plays, no CTD, just unresponsive forever. So we know the problem. Yiffy age has instructions to run a patch on the Nexus-hosted version of the mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/52851 Running the patch will merge any compatible changes on NPCs to a furry-friendly version, and generate new versions for things that don't make sense. Run patcher, load save from before whoring out in the inn, second time whoring Sinbata is present as expected. and no crashes. Loaded a prior save that was affected, and game still crashes. Ew. May do the ol' rest in a empty room for a few days. --- EDIT after some more tired testing. Rested in the nice coc ctest cell for 24 hours then went to drink some coffee irl. Afterwards, COC whiterunbannered mare, walk to breezehome, save, quit game, reload save, attempt quest, doesn't crash. So if you do find others who have a strangely specific crash around certain cells or NPCs touched by this mod, maybe find out if they also have strangely specific npc or race overhauls? Honestly, my first suspicion when someone has a weird crash that I don't get and few to no other players have reported is that there's another mod involved. That's basically always the problem. It doesn't always mean I can't do anything to fix it, but a lot of times it does. Even if not, I still need to know what other mods might be causing something before I can determine whether there's anything I can do about it. I'm glad you figured out your problem.

The creature stuff in TAP is already completely optional except for the stuff involving draugr. Removing that would require a major rewrite of a quest line, which I'm not really inclined to do. The issue I understand with the SexLab-to-OStim converter has more to do with the fact that TAP is very reliant on knowing when events from SexLab happen. That wouldn't be easy to overcome just by removing a few scenes here and there. That would require a major overhaul of how TAP works. The only realistic solutions there would either be for someone to create something that converts information from OStim to the form that SexLab provides or for someone to redo all the scripts in TAP to work in terms of OStim. As much as I would like to support OStim, that isn't going to be me.

I'm glad you figured out your problem. still can't do the whole riften brothel quests because i still freeze when the cell loads, so something in there is still unhappy. I'll have to figure out something i guess.

Someone did voices for release 15 somewhere in this thread. I don't think they've made it an actual mod yet, and I don't know if they plan to. I don't have a link unfortunately.

Understood. I wasn't sure if it was because you wanted him to be a unique orc with a custom voice or not. Now that I'm aware, I can make his lines. Updated the mega link to include Aia Dinora, Broluk, and Zoe's lines. Ghost effects added to Aia. Also added the missing Freeform lines. It might be something I need to fix. There's no way I know of to check what SexLab thinks the actor's gender is for dialogue, so I can only go by what the game says. It's possible the script for that dialogue is not checking the SexLab gender, either.

Yeah, that situation is hard-coded to use lesbian animations. I'll add it to my list to fix that.

Got the same bug, with purple glow but no fjotra in sight. There are several NPCs present that are from other mods (3DNPC, Babodialogue, ToH and YPS all place a character into the temple main chamber, its rather crowded). No Sisterhood installed, but i do run Skyrim Teens, overwritten by Fjotra replacer for said sisterhood, but its purely visual. My bet would be on something going wrong at rescue mission. I believe ive hit Fjotra accidently during briarheart fight. She followed me to temple NP, but afterwards she ran off immediately leaving the temple. Not finding her inside i used prid+moveto.player, but it just makes her scream along the lines of "Dont hurt me" and run away from the temple. Settings stage 200 allows to progress to later quest, and im guessing original fjotra is going to get replaced with adult one from your mod, so i guess its a relatively harmless and easy issue to fix. I run almost 900 plugins load order, so issue is almost certainly comes from something i run that keep Fjotra stuck in fleeing from the player state. And even then, it would probably never materialize had i not clipped her with a cleave in the first place.
