Just curious about if you're planning on adding in any sort of gore into the game or how brutal it'll be. I'm not expecting for you to put in a L4D2 detail of gore (I mean with the detailing of the inards and what not), but if you're planning on putting a decent amount so it isn't just even if you wish some poor sod with a machete (or similar blade weapon), they don't die intact, because we've gotten past that in games now (even though some games still don't).

 

I just want to play a zombie game with some good gore to it...all I can think of from recently are L4D2 and Dead Island. Being Australian, bodies disappear when killed and DI has frustrating balance issues (or maybe I'm just bad). Eh..I'm most likely just picky...

While I would love to add some gore, I just don't think it would fit entirely for this game, remember they're not really traditional zombies, these are the sexing kind (Also not really undead either). That said blood effects/decals will be used when you get hit/hit someone else, if that's anything to ya lol.

found a new video recorder (bandicam) to use other than fraps (for those who didn't know, fraps lags the hell out of my comp), it's quality seems pretty good and the file size is low. It's just too good to be true lol nvm it stopped working for no reason, all the videos it records are really messed up now

Now after this though I got an idea, make a toggle for male or futa zombies, just to allow people to avoid the stuff they don't like. I think it would definitely be worth the time to figure it out for you guys. Because when it cums to stuff like this, it's prob weird if you're NOT too picky lol.

 

FUCK YES! When it comes to the sex stuff, toggles for as much as you can! Like how the sex mods for fallout and oblivion are, you can adjust them to be exactly what you want. So, like when I play, I can adjust the orientations of rapists how I like it! So yes! Toggles toggles toggles! I honestly wouldn't mind having female zombies wanting to kill me, as long as I could simply turn off the option for them to be rapists. (Though I wouldn't mind a slider to turn them off, or make them fewer in number either. >.>)

 

And don't forget about toggles for more than the sexes and orientation! Make it as modable, and as customizable as you can. So if someone wants to turn off something, like lust, they can!

Making the game more modular in it's setup would be very cool later on, toggle the genders/allowed content/toggle what transformed infected people can pop up, and maybe even toggle between different styles of viruses aka outbreaks (this last one wouldn't be happening until after everything else of course). Hardcore settings toggles like lust/hunger/thirst/bladder too could be nice for people who really don't like to worry about stuff like that.

 

Now I can't say how feasible it is atm until I try, but I will do my best to try to keep it as an option later on.

Tomorrow is a big modeling day for me (no work to waste my time tomorrow, Yay lol), will be attempting to make a new body model, but if I fail I'll be finishing up the other body model that I showed here. So either way, I'll be getting that stuff done

Ok so the second attempt didn't go where I wanted it to, so I'm back to the other model. Will try to reduce the muscles a bit on it as I kinda gave it a fitter look than I needed. So with that I'm taking a break for a bit, and then in like an hour or so I'll be back on it.

 

Hopefully will be done with the model by the end of today.

model is definitely NOT getting done today. I let my brother use my car and he ended up almost wrecking it and breaking a load of things. So now my friend and I get to spend the next day or so fixing it (thank god my friend's a mechanic lol...). But anyway, I'll let you guys know when I get back to working on/finishing the model, and sorry for the delay

 

Update on the edit

done working on my car for today, really tired and just going to go to bed early. I'm going to end up having to take some extra days off since I don't have a car to get to work and this is going to take more than a few days to fix...I'm pretty pissed about this, but my bro didn't do it on purpose...but still way too angry about this . Will hopefully cool off tomorrow so I can get the model finished, no promises though, sorry (I don't work well when pissed lol).

Ok not nearly in as much a rage mode as I was yesterday. Also I think I figured out how I was going to do the clothes/morphs.

 

For the NOT transformed character (people who can still wear clothes), I'm going with bones because I just don't have the time to make so many variations per clothing mesh. Will still be able to do the weight slider though, but it'll be more like skyrim's weight slider now.

 

Now onto the transformed infected people, they get to use morph targets/attachments as they will NOT be wearing clothing. This saves me time and lets me just make the transformed body, and then that's it, only one morph target for the nude mesh. Much easier than if they had clothes, and still letting me transform the people in odd/clever ways lol.

 

Now with that I've got a car to fix XD....(cries)

forgot to add the morphs will be used for the face/head as well. Hooray customization lol

Zombies sounds like an excellent idea! Just as long as they don't look too... rotten, like Oblivion zombies. I dunno what others think though. But even still, any mindless, infected, rapacious, and horny baddies that want nothing more than to violate the heroine is always a great idea in H-games am I right?

And just as a reminder in case anyone forgot, the initial virus I'm making will not be featuring the "I'm going to eat you" variety of infected people, they will be more along the line of "I'm going eat you out" kind...lol lame sex jokes. Though like I said earlier, more traditional zombies may be possible later on when/if I start making new viruses.

And lets discuss this virus, already we know it makes things act on primal instincts. What if it was a a sort of retrovirus that alters DNA ( Thus making the above coupling..feasible maybe? )

On the topic of the simple humanish enemies, I just want to start simple and gradually ease my way over to the complex. Just so I don't overwhelm myself right off the bat lol. btw For the virus, mutating dna is totally within the realm of what it can handle

 

Also some kind of accelerated pregnancy mechanic could be cool though, but I'm getting the other stuff done before I get sidetracked again on something new

And as for the goal of the virus? That's something you'll have to find out in the game, hope you like Nazi zombie style easter eggs though

Going to do some coding, and I'm purchasing an anatomy book later, so I can maybe ya know finish this body model stuff properly lol.

Also not sure about this: My monitor requires I turn it on/off like 4/5 times now before it stays on. So hopefully it's not about to quit on me and it's just being stupid

And finally, I'm digging up art inspiration for the clothing/environments to help get our own concept art moving. So you may have that to enjoy sometime soonish as well.

Personal experience. >.> Was thinking my monitor was about to die because whenever I slammed my fist on the table, it would black out for a bit. Eventually it blacked out and didn't come back on. Then I look around and saw that I had made the cable come unplugged from the back. XD

Btw thinking of consolidating a few features together.

 

Lust + Arousal could probably be merged as I'm not too sure on if they really both require their own status since they both serve similar functions. 

 

Hunger/Thirst could be merged as well, but again, I'm not too sure. You guys have any preference on this? Would two separate stats be too annoying/distracting to manage or just enough?
