Was just wondering, is it possible make elements of the HUD vanish and reappear when necessary, such as the objective box.

 

If there is still debate over which HUD to use can you do a preview shot of the previous HUD ingame like you did with this one a few posts up? 

 

Yeah those things would fade out when not needed. And yeah the debate of the HuD will be going on hold due in a large part to some news I have.

 

Important Info Pls Read

My Coder, finally having time to work on this has brought on another 2 guys to help with this. This is great, as the work load will be dropping quite a bit per person, but there is a downside (well it could be viewed as a positive too however), we are going to be taking a month or so to reflect on what we all want for the game, what we realistically can achieve, and other general design elements.

 

So things are going to be shifting about again, as we now have a proper team to get things going. My initial talks with them seem to be that Single player will be the primary/initial goal, and then once we have a stable enough build + a decent following, the multiplayer sandbox mode will likely be something we use a kickstarter like site (there's an adult version of it that I can't recall it's name atm) to help find and pay for more experienced network guys to help establish a well made framework for the online play.

 

I'll also be re/making a new blog for the game's page later as well, this new blog will be private until we can finalize everything I post, to avoid any potentially misleading/confusing information. Though this won't be until after we can get everything ready for you guys. btw The old blog will remain for the time being until the new one is ready, then I'll be taking it down.

 

But yeah in conclusion, thanks a ton for your support so far (The support has been far beyond anything I was expecting when I first set out with this game), and I hope I can continue to have your support when I get back to work here.

 

So with all that said, I'll be checking in here every now and then in case any of you guys have any questions I can answer, but besides that, things are going to be pretty silent here until we're ready.

Thanks for keeping people posted here in my absence, I'm glad someone can do my job ^_^

 

Anyways...

Sorry I've been gone so long! I lost my password here and couldn't be bothered to setup a new one yet (I'm lazy sometimes lol). But now that I'm actually getting ready to get things in gear again, I'll be making a new thread here sometime over the weekend, likely Sunday.

 

Still some areas of the Blog that are in need of finishing up, but it's mostly done, and since you guys have been waiting so patiently, I'm cool with sending it out a bit early :)

 

That said, you guys have a great weekend and I'll be seeing you all again on Sunday B)
