companion Meet Companion Ivy

I don't have a quest in Pip-boy. I just came with her to kill Overboss Colter (she was commenting on everything) and returned to the Commonwealth to complete her quest. Unfortunately, I don't have any early saves.

can someone tell me where the hypercombat holotape is? i've been searching the sewers for like 40 minutes and can't find it anywhere. Or, a way to use the console to add it to my inventory/activate the next step of the quest.

It didn't work, the dialogue not start. Is it possible to launch a quest using a console command?

Using the mod Weapons of Fate causes a CTD when Ivy uses her hand cannon. See attached crash log. I had just recruited Ivy then went to the Museum of freedom interior when the crash happened. Is there a patch or fix or do I have to uninstall Weapons of Fate?

WoF causes the bug, not Ivy. So I think you should ask their author for help

Yeah, no idea on that. She uses a regular unmodded gun basically. Nothing fancy. Just a .44 with a bull barrel attachment.

 

ps: I don't use custom weapon mods at all due to their nature to be proned to crashing.

Heya.  I seem to be having a rather unique problem.  I cant run with the CompanionIvy_Nuka mod or the Magaddon mod.  If I enable either mod no game will load.  I just get a never ending loading symbol and the main menu screen and music plays forever.  I disable the mods everything else runs.  Anyone else have a similar issue or no a fix?

Modlist please? Preferably under the spoiler. I doubt very much Ivy cause infinite loading

I am so sorry.  I was an idiot.  That was my list of mods.  not their load order.  I am stupid.  SO sorry.  This...SHOULD be the plugin order list.

Yes I have the Magaddon and the Nuka Addon, but they are disabled because game wont load past main menu when I use them.
IvyEdit I believe alters her preset apperance,
The MSWL Patch makes it so Morning Sex With Lover Recognizes Ivy
RealSex allows AAF sex scenes with Ivy to play. 

But I will try and remove those and enable the Magaddon and Nuka mods

Also I have been away from fallout 4 for years, came back recently,  So when I left AWKR was still running and I have a bunch of other mods that say they use/require AWKR

I mean the game runs fine.  Almost no crashes or freezes outside of a the rare hiccup.

There is an un official BA2 limit in the game that will vary from person to person.  Both the Nuka addon and magazine addon have 2 BA2 archives, so you might be going over your limit.

 

To test that, you could disable a few other mods that have archives (at least 4 archives to equal the Ivy stuff), then try to re-enable the Ivy addons and see if the game starts.  Or temporarily put the BA2 archives from the Ivy addons in a different folder and see if the game loads with just the plugins.

 

If the game loads under those circumstances, then you'd need an archive unpacker and use loose files for some mods.  Ideally you'd do that for files that have very small archives.  Maybe a weapon or armor mod.

I've had no problem with it.  Although I have not finished the whole storyline I often get ADHD prone and start a new character after i get to around level 50.  I REALLY need to buckle down and finish a full playthrough some time

Travelmedic says I have too many BA2 files....I'm pretty smooth brained here so I'm not exactly sure what that means but I have a thought....please ignore the smoke filling the room that is normal.  But I'll try and see if I can pair down a few more mods I don't use all that much.  Maybe I just literally have too many mods and Ivy was the proverbial straw
