I must be missing something.  I can you tell me why? I want to make sure I am using the right mod I know she doesn't like XDI and there is a patch. Thank for your input.

Is there a mod that keeps Ivy from running up in to your face?

 

It gets frustrating when she is so close.

 

I've tried some companion mods with her but none seem to work.

Go into the NX-2C configuration holotape and set her follow distance.

Ivy is my go to mod, i will uninstall anything that conflicts with her. Thank you for all the work you and the voice actress put into her.

 

That being said, if i hear, "I wish there was an amusement park nearby."  one more time, i might have to send her back to the basement for a timeout.

So what multiple followers option do we go with if the only good one is incompatible? Never did have any major issues with Liga and Ivy, until. Now basically. Once we got to diamond city her scripting shat the bed and during the Takahashi encounter, she suddenly got a mind of her own and started leaving diamond city.

I have that patch for XDI as well.

 

(Inb4 someone suggests AFT, even the new Plus version is bad. very bad.)

Reg will love this and I probably have  a nerve in asking but I am stuck as the NW Ivy quest will not start. I have long finished all of Mercy's notes and the others and her affinity is high. I have tried the uninstall/change cell several times and I have done so using Liga and RAM(separately obviously) but it had no effect. I m about to start Institutionalised and wondered if I had not gone far enough to kick it off. I have listened to NW radio but not a murmur from dear Ivy. Any other way to kick start it?

 

Solved! Thank you Reg! Does Ivy ever tell the truth? I ask as it is impossible to ask her directly to define "exclusive" 

( In her voice files there are 8 lines on "Manipulation" and its use which will open eyes & minds and explain the nauseating  platitudes and the contradiction between her speech and her behaviour. "Don't take anything I say at face value" is her one truly honest line). In addition, despite her repeated words, she is NEVER "insecure" as she believes that she is always totally in control,  just as all sexbot companions are trained to be: they mold themselves to their owner and only say what they believe he/she needs to hear and truth is utterly irrelevant.

Common issue. Just happens sometimes even without multifollower mods. Try to reload save at the entrance, before approaching Takahashi

Yeah i reloaded, even down to reloading to an autosave before we entered diamond city. May just try this again on saturday or something if it's a genuinely common bug. lol you reminded me of this happening years ago during my last playthrough, to some other followers, which i chalked down to buggyness with the multi followers mod at the time.

this game sure is a fickle mistress.

IIRC it does ~30-50+ more damage than the usual upgraded 44 thx to her white bull barrel. Unfortunately her barrel will not allow a silencer. I offered her an upgraded Kellog's 44 (with silencer and better scope) but by then even her 44 was obsolete  and she never used it so Heather has it now as a Kellog souvenir.. TBH I never asked he to use her 44 once she used  better weapons and I cannot recall how I managed to look at it to see it stats? Player.placeatme base ref. I think.

I discussed this with the Liga author and from my own experiences if Ivy is in the prime spot(No. 1) there is very little you will miss and the difficulties in using RAM(far less control/interaction with companions) make Liga a far better option IMHO. If you know  or have heard all of Ivy's voice files you realise how few are really that important unless the eroticism is important to the player.

I do wish Ivy would talk more about herself and less about sex and duct tape.  In her questionnaire, i set her to be a good girl, but that's not much of a change from full on Ivy.

If someone could make something similar Netherworks did, I would gladly use it. So far nothing suits me

Resource not found (File "textures\setdressing\ivy\ivy_art_misc01.dds.   Question, is this file supposed to be 0 bytes? All of the other dds files look like little pictures, but this file is just a blank 0 byte file. It keeps crashing F04edit. Sorry, new at this

Was trying to use this mod Fix Cubemaps at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community with f04edit and it scans through all the mods and when it reaches the 0 bytes Ivy file it causes f04edit to crash. I was just wondering if it was a corrupted Ivy file

Exclude Ivy from search - that all. She has no broken cubes anyway

The only thing I am considering right now is whether I should even continue to release mods -and continue to support Ivy-, if this is the response I can expect to them.

 

There always has to be that one jerk that shits on your work as loud as they can, isn't there?

Without even showing anything for themselves.
