so... is this place dead now? looks like i got into ryza modding a little to late.

eh ive seen topics revived and made progress in after months of inactivity in the past.

i dont think modding for this game is truly dead until the next game in the trilogy comes out and people are modding that

Ahah! Looked through the thread again and saw someone talk about hex editing.

Open a g1m file with a hex editor (I'm using FlexHEX) and edit the highlighted part so that it goes from 30 33 here into 39 32 and then the g1m tools will unpack it.

It looks like I was perhaps wrong- the ib and vb files are produced by g1m tools, just like 3DMigoto.

These are the files you should be able to import with 3DMigoto's blender script (or maybe other things?) and edit and import back into the g1m file.

I think this is all we need to get everyone else modding.

Here are the dark tan Lila files.

pc05a_model.elixir.gz (model from moderchan@21)

pc05a_model.g1t (my texture edit of moderchan@21's work)

1. you have drag PACK00_01.PAK onto gust_pak.exe and change the file name to have a .bak at the end like this "PACK00_01.PAK.bak"

2. you take the Data folder and move/replace into the Data folder that you are currently inside of (because you just created a Data folder inside the Data folder)

3. put them in the folder location listed below and overwrite
...\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Atelier Ryza\Data\x64\character\pc05a

Just a small heads up, I dont believe that info is correct for getting the tan version Of Lila, you get that from this thread , just download the mod,and it goes into your data character folder that was created by dragging PACK00_02.PAK (not 01) to atelier18 decrypt. Just make sure you take the files inside the data folder you just created, backup one folder and paste them into the correct data folder. Now you can delete the empty data folder you created. Just trying to help those instructions were confusing.

there is some work remaining
I still have the problem with those lines of the upper clothes and the straps, I think it's not the texture, maybe it's the model, but I don't know how to modify it
maybe next will be the damaged version, using the nude mod from sirnoobalot

Kilo is friendly npc, just like agatha
his model caracter folder is pc14a

Oh my... I must've gotten confused because I also unpack PACK00_01.PAK and PACK00_04.PAK to modify the character portraits. Fixed the number typo in original post.

Unpacking PACK00_01.PAK gives access to "a21_main_menu_image_##.g1t" that are the different background images of the main menu and "a21_chara_stand_card##.g1t" that are the character portaits you see in various places. Both can be found in the folder location below.

...\steamapps\common\Atelier Ryza\Data\x64\Res_CMN\ui

Unpacking PACK00_01.PAK gives access to "a21_battle.g1t" that has all 6 character battle portraits in it. Located in the folder location below.
...\steamapps\common\Atelier Ryza\Data\x64\Res_EN\ui

(I am using "Res_EN" because my game is set to English)

Someone wrote a detailed explaination several pages back on how to modify these.

Yessir buddy and you were halfway right and still pointed to the right method at least. I have been non stop adding mods and custom portraits now to the battle images and what not lol. Always glad to have people that help.

Hello! I know this post was already from last year but I would love to try my hands at modding body parts as well. Could you please tell me which programs you used to achieve that or which file you modified? I dont even know where to start!
