CrazySloth Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 It's not working for me. I press H during a sexlab animation and the menu doesn't appear.... I have this mod for LE and it works fine there.

EmePalindrome Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 So how can I use UI Extensions if it's incompatible? Especially since the original mod requires it? I'm so confused. 1

Idk how to 100% fix the ctd Though i know by having the files overwritten for UI Ext, It can work with both mods enabled Maybe go into the files for UI Ext and remove some of them and leave the esp alone to see if it works

Reapy Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 Hmm. Two unusual things. I have UIExtensions for Sexlabsimplesexing and it doesn't CTD. It appears in MCM but the hotkeys don't work despite rebinds. Think I'll have to experiment with a new game.
Guest Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 I also have UIExtensions (from EFF and several other mods) and have experienced no crashes and the hotkeys do not work even after rebinding, except the one related to matchmaker. The only conflict I have is with SL Defeat, though I've tried all different ways of positioning the mod priority (without defeat, with defeat before it, and after it) with no change to anything between them.

I was under the assumption that it was like the original SL Tools and that pressing the hotkey for "tool actor list" would search the nearby area for an active sexlab scene and let me choose which scene to interact with. This makes it quite difficult when say you can't get your crosshair close enough to "interact" with one of the actors or in freecam. Also I found out that the hotkey doesn't matter. Default "H" and my custom hotkey worked once I realized I needed to have the "interact" action available with one of the actors.

Gergar12 Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Dumb question, but how you disable UI extensions in SSEdit.

Gergar12 Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Hard choices; giving up Additemmenu or not having sexlab tools...

I read from someone else that if you put UI Ext as high priority in your load order then you won't have any ctd, why not try it out and see if it's true
Da Bosss Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 I'm having an issue where none of hotkeys (except matchmaker) work. Either for sexlab or sexlab tools. Does anyone have an idea of why this might be? The matchmaker tool hotkey is the only one that works for some reason though.

Menthols487 Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 So it's not working for me. H hotkey doesn't work and it's not appearing in my MCM menu. I have tried refreshing my MCM but it still doesn't show. Now I have created both a Merged patch(with SSE) and a Bashed Patch and they both worked properly and my game has never CTD, but could that be the issue? Should I not activate SE tools when merging and bashing and make sure it's activated on it's own? One last thing, even with a Merge and Bashed patch, the esp for Sexlab Tools is still activated, but it's the only thing that I can think of that's breaking it. Why else would it not be showing up in MCM?

Now Hotkeys function normaly. Maybe the same Solution works for you.
JESUS BURRTO Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 First of all shout out to Electric Aether for answering problems for over a year that's awesome! I am having the same problem with the hot keys not working and the corresponding menus not popping up. I'm relatively new to modding, but so far I've gotten my game to start up with all the essential mods for sexlab without any problems and all I'm looking for is a way to control the scenes a little more. FNIS gives me zero warnings when I update behaviors and I've got lOOT up and running (although I'm not entirely sure how to fully use it yet.) I'm using vortex as my mod manager, and I've loaded in with the "UI Extensions_esp." plugin both enabled and disabled in the vortex menu on the same save, but I keep getting the same result either way. I've read about making it redundant but I've avoided attempting that out of fear of breaking things because I'm using a lot of mods that depend on it. I tried using Xedit to disable the esp. but I couldn't get that to work on account of my lack of experience since all I've used Xedit for was to create meshes for "All Geared Up". I have tried moving the hot keys around but that didn't change anything. The only thing I can think of that I haven't tried is starting a new game. If I somehow come across a fix I'll update this. Any help is appreciated!

Any help is appreciated! try manually making UI Ext higher in your load order and making it redundant won't hurt the game as far as i know as i have it redundant and all of my mods are working just fine, so the conclusion that I came to is that there is a file or a set of files in either sexlab tools or UI Ext that conflict This can possibly be fixed if these said files were removed but that would require some testing of course( which I won't take the risk) And perhaps the reason why the menu isn't popping up can be because of this 1.Too many scrips activated or in an area with many scrips on 2.Be patient, might take a few in game hours to days for it to load 3.another mod overwriting it If the hotkeys aren't working then it's possible that you might have another mod overwriting the default key (H) I use Wyrebash to turn on and off esps, You don't have the create a account to use it either maybe it can help you out or be easier to use
