so I have UI extensions and no CTD from it as far as I can tell but the match maker system will not grab additional npc's for 3+ person animations in spite of the fact that is will start the animations with the 2 people listed

When does the CTD usually happen from the conflict between UI Ext and SL Tool? I have both UI Extension and SL Tool running and no problems (yet) with UI Ext high in the load order and SL Tool at the bottom.

it happens when you start the game

 

and the load order is perhaps the reason why you aren't getting CTD

maybe try putting SL Tools higher in the load order as sometimes the SL Defeat menu won't load properly (for me at least}

Hi there! Sorry for the long post but I'm kinda at the end of my rope here.

 

The Sexlab Tools hotkeys are not working for me anymore when I press the configured buttons in-game or mid-scene. It used to work before but suddenly it just stopped working. I can't seem to isolate the problem and pinpoint what it is. The MCM seems to work fine though.

 

I used to use this one here for SE which worked in the past but then stopped working: Sexlab tools for SE (Patched)

I then tried to use this one: SexLab Tools v3.0

 

The latter version CTD'd immediately as is. Then I used BSA Browser to extract the files and re-zip it and it did not crash, but it also does not work. Basically the same results.

 

What I have tried:

 

- Changing around the hotkeys, setting the 'modifier key' to buttons that are not registered. I also have set it to use game controller buttons but that also doesn't work.

- Removing all sorts of mods

- Tried with using a new save / profile

- Tried this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30913 (Use both Xbox 360 controller AND Keyboard SIMULTANEOUSLY)

- Running FNIS again and again

- Using the v3 version

 

The only thing I haven't tried is pretty much re-downloading the game. Does anybody have a suggestion?

Ah that's too bad, I thought that you might have had some suggestions. I might re-download skyrim but I don't see how that is going to help. Mods shouldn't overwrite anything permanently when using a mod manager I think, aside from installing SKSE manually. I guess I'm gonna start from scratch again first without re-downloading.

what skse version are you using?

 

have you also checked your mcm to see if theres another mod overwriting the default hotkey?

Thanks for the suggestion. I am using version the latest version: 'Current SE build 2.0.19'

 

So ... I have deleted all my mods, deleted Skyrim and deleted Vortex, re-installed everything and it still doesn't work! Man, this is prettty frustrating.

Do you see any issues? I don't know how to see what mods are overwriting the hotkeys. I have tried using multiple hotkeys, or binding them to my controller. It's super strange that is used to work without any issue.

One strange thing I have found while playing around with the hotkeys is that by default, the Matchmaker queue key doesn't work with 'ESC'. When I set it to another key, V or B for instance, it does work. And it is the only menu that opens. When I assign the V key to Modifier key and the B key to Tool key the menu doesn't open using the same button. I have even checked all other hotkeys manually and none of them are set to either one. I have also tried binding them to my controller button and once again 'Matchmaker queue key' is the only thing that works. What the heck if going on lol...

i don't see problems with your load order

it might be a skse problem

Im on 2.0.17 and haven't had any problems with my mods so might as well try to downgrade to that version

Then can it just be disabled in vortex plugin pannel , be the same unticking it edit ?

yes theres a limit sadly and you can't increase it from my knowledge, Just go into Sexlab MCM and select toggle animations then disable animations you don't like to have the animations you like appear in the menu.

It also generally only shows the scenes with the particular keyword you are currently working with. So if the scene started because of the Loving keyword for instance, it will only show scenes with that keyword, unless you go into tools and enter your own keyword tag.

Well, after having this mod in my list for, literally, years, only because it was recommended, I finally figured out what it did.  Hee!  It's delightful, thank you.

 

One thing I haven't figured out is if it is possible (and, if so, how) to switch actor positions. If so, this will (finally!) provide a solution to the Flowergirls FFM glitch.

Heh. Damn. Should have realized. Since Flowergirls doesn't go through Sexlab, the tools won't work on FG scenes. Oh, well. Back to the drawing board. ?  Still is a great mod, and really adds to the fun.

Has anyone managed to make the actor list key work like it did in oldrim? Having to run up to each scene to change animations is highly annoying
