There's a lot of mods like Skyrim Chainbeasts or even S.L.U.T.S that take over PC control that you can look at.

Also, you don't necessarily have to limit control. Instead, make the only option when you talk to specific npcs the one from your mod, like a forcegreet. Even a text based quest, one where you only have dialogues is okay, most people will roleplay the rest.

MCM checkboxes are connected to boolean-type global records in the mod data.  Open up the mod in xEdit and look through the set of globals until you find one that has a name that matches, then look at the list of references to that global and sort by record type to find which INFO records check for the value of the global in their condition data.

 

Edit: I just checked.  There are in practice 6 references to the global.  For all real purposes, the MCM setting does nothing.

The Orc appears in the prison, where he would have been if the player had not chosen to start the game with him. Extra dialogue for players who started with Gorzod:
Well, look who crawled back. Missed my boot in your asshole, eh? Get me out, or I'll make you regret it.

Other ideas:
Gorzod gives you nasty potions like Gorzod’s Grog (a foul-tasting drink that boosts Strength but causes a temporary Speechcraft debuff).

Gorzod forces the player to perform a degrading task (like daily quests), like begging in the Market District for gold while he watches.

The player accompanies Gorzod to reclaim his honor by challenging a rival Orc chieftain.

 

I also have an idea to make a resurrector, who for say 10,000 gold will be able to resurrect characters. I can connect it with the lore through a Hagraven, who has achieved true mastery in Restoration and can return souls to fresh corpses (Some in ESO did this).

I've noticed really sad thing about SE port of this great otherwise mod - it has way more quest breaking errors (null references and such) than LE (base) one. But funny thing is that number of those quest breaking errors (which is around 5 or 7, maybe, in LE version) is way smaller if I port it myself, where by "porting" I don't mean any really fancy nor time consuming shit - just re-saving LE esp with CK and using it instead of esp provided in SE package available here, on LL.

 

Attached are logs from xEdit run on main esp, that show amounts - anyone with ability to use some decent compare tool will see what I mean in seconds. And difference is not just "on the paper" - I've tested some of those SE errors "in action" (and am planning to recheck the rest) - they really did break quests on clean started game with TOH installed from the very beginning. And then I've tested same quests, not by reinstalling anything, nor starting new game - just by replacing esp with mine "port" and re-checking those otherwise broken quests (like in example of great debasement, where TardoClone disappearing and not returning as vampire lord, leaves quest hanging and unfinishable unless manually setstaged to 31 - if I recall number right).

 

BTW: same problem and solution with all TOH's addons, Tardo example is from one of them anyway.

MCM checkboxes are connected to boolean-type global records in the mod data.  Open up the mod in xEdit and look through the set of globals until you find one that has a name that matches, then look at the list of references to that global and sort by record type to find which INFO records check for the value of the global in their condition data.

 

Edit: I just checked.  There are in practice 6 references to the global.  For all real purposes, the MCM setting does nothing.

Since obviously having ~9kb log of errors is better for end-user than having it at ~23kb, especially if that 9kb does not contain any new and meaningful errors comparing to base LE (I completely ignore meaningless issues like Tint errors, that anyone can patch easily for themselves or ignore).

 

Anyway - If for any reason you can't/don't wish to switch/reconfigure and/or update your CK - I can give you mine exports to see for yourself - or just use them in release package as they are (As a general rule, I refrain from posting anything of this nature in thread where the author remains active without his permission).
