No, I don't use any such patches. Just plain TOH with exception for usual self-made compatibility/merge patch, in which TOH currently wins 99.9% of dialogs "conflicts".

 

BTW: I haven't seen any Serpent anywhere either - didn't even hear about him from any NPC, is it normal?

If this is early on when you do like the buying the guild, and recruiting the things to me same thing happened to me. I just did the authors troubleshooting steps too " Open console and type: help "NPC's name", player.placeatme *NPC's id*"  While inside the Forgetten regret guild and he spawned. went to his throne and everything progressed as normal

I liked the farm quest. From the much I played of this mod, that part is the most text based one. I like your vision with this mod so I like reading even if it is mostly text based. I would appreciate if your new content have some details in between scenes or quests with text. Like tthe NTR mother-bully quest "Next ideas:
To prove she only cares about Bull, she beats you, Bull beats you. Then you all go to a fort, and there they slide down the steps on you, standing on your face and groin, and kissing."

I think it is no possible to make a visual scene of them sliding down on steps on player but even the text of it is just like a salt on food to me. I hope you go all out with those details you can't animate.

Serpent should teleport to the player on the 10 stage of the Troubles of Heroine quest. This can be done in the MCM or in the console.

He never did show up. So I did checked stage of AAATroublesofHeroineQuest, and it had flag "1" beside stage 10(*). So then I've prid serpent himself to see if he's enabled at least, and he was... and he is alive too. Turns out that he hangs inside some corners of Editor Smoke Cell with bunch of Ghost creatures and one chick tanning skins, and appears quite talkative... but at the same time lazy enough to leave that storage area, which obviously is not meant to be visited by the player during legit gameplay.

So something obviously has gone wrong on early stages of TOH running, because I'm now on lvl 32+ and have had many other side-quests finished, without need to abuse the console(**).

*) while there is 0 beside stage 0, which seems quite common for all other TOH quests, that they can be (success)fully completed yet they always have stage 0 incomplete/not initialized - what probably is a separate issue

**) except maybe for Lydia questline, which had very weird start (had to figure circumstances in which proper dialog shows up - involving few restarts, but no console kicks), and progressed quite fine on it's won until AAAMCFightingSloth (if I'm not mistaken, last one) which bugged out with dialogs not showing up (she spoke stage starting sentences while outside of proper dialog, what I would see in subtitles, but after taking directly to her - via "use" shortcut - in most cases there was no new topics in the dialog list, and old trick with "reload save and try to be/click quicker this time" had to be used to force that topics list to refresh/update eventually).

I didn't say I don't know how to force-start quests, just that I don't want to, unless absolutely necessary, what is not yet determined.

 

BTW: my advice is - NEVER use "place at me" in context of unique objects.

As far as I remember, during the initial quest, the main quest stage is set to stage 10 twice. Perhaps something happened with those scripts. Or, at stage 10 itself, something went wrong with the teleportation script.

Weird thing is that if I try to resetquest - instead of zeroing everything it automatically sets value of stage 100 to 1 and "completes" itself. After reissuing reset command it actually zeroes, but then cannot be simply setstaged anymore (setquestaliases works but does not enables the quest, just fills its references) - probably bunch of globals prevent that.

 

Anyway seems like the simplest way around for me is to drag Serpent out to the open and continue that way, but still - something indeed seems broken from the very beginning or I was unlucky, twice.

Hello, I have a problem of Grym and Catherine not spawning, even after getting the Hire Inventor and Hire Whore Teacher quests. I tried to placeatme them and they just had their initial quest, Grym worked fine, but then when Catherine says to go to Crapeater he didn't spawn either and I'd have to placeatme him as well, but then Crapeater would just stop at some point when I'm dating him.

 

Also when playing as a male, I had the Troubles of Hero token in my inventory but Pirve still says fuck you cock bearer or something and teleports away, I had to use sexchange to start the quest so that makes me wonder where else that happens as I think some quests aren't starting for me.

I'm playing on LE, using the dawnguard, dragonborn and hearthfire plugins and I installed the latest version not upgrade

 

Also even if I do placeatme and setstage with catherine and grym, I just get nothing from serpent after that, just the spermporter and the high elf quest from catherine but nothing else from anyone else, Bruiser is normal as far as I can tell, function wise.

These characters are disabled at the beginning, but during the quest stages they are enabled. It might be worth finding and activating them via help, prid id, enable, moveto player.

I managed to get it run 

somewhat, it was a conflict between a marriage mod-to have and to  hold -and   this particular quest 

uninstalled it after marriage, moves troubles of heroine down the list and now its running properly

no language patches or upgrades, it was plugged in on a new game, now modded skyrim

Not necessarily, they just sometimes block new dialogues in the quests I've reworked.
