do you think nymphs in general are skinny?

Oh shit WTF

The title says it all. Nymphs are basically spirits of where they live in so they don't necessarily have to have big tits and butts, do they? I'm starting to play Skyrim as a nymph but wondering if I should make her skinny for immersive purpose. If skinny, how skinny do you think is appropriate and immersive for nymphs to be. (wood nymph btw)

Having small frames they need big breasts so they float when they frolic in ponds. Otherwise they would drown due to lack of strength and you wouldn't want that to happen would you?

I tend to split the elemental location type creatures into three kinds, the attacking protector types which wouldn't need a CBBE type body, the seductive types which would, and the "just existing" types which could but don't need one as they're pretty much non-interactive with mortal types and could be more spirit the others.

If you're going out to kill woodcutters and defend your forests, I'd probably go with a slimmer, more athletic build.  Now a Naiad on the other hand or some other water sprite could certainly use some flotation balloons.

Nymphs in the Elder Scrolls Series were impossible ideal oriented back when the TES series still did skimpy armor as a regular thing before Bethesda took over the series.  If you think the ideal beauty is slender go for it.  Otherwise go for bodacious.

Historically, nymphs denoted sexual exuberance, like in this picture:

I believe in the TES series they would be similar, but this is open to the preference of the viewer. A lot of players like skinny girls, as the popularity of UNP shows. So if that makes you feel better, go for it.

I have another question. I'm currently creating a cave (player house) mod especially dedicated to nymphs and nymph play. I'm planning to place a statue on the middle under a big tree. but I don't know which statue would suit for nymphs. I'm thinking of either Kynareth of Dibella. What do you guys think?

I would think Kyne or Kynareth would be the better match with her portfolios of the wild and nature over Dibellla's portfolio of beauty and artistry.  I don't know of any statues though. Maybe a spriggan trophy type statue?

was thinking the same but Kyne doesn't have statue that's the thing. I'd choose Kyne otherwise. I wish there was a mod that adds Kyne statue.

I don't know if there are statue resource mods that might have something similar enough, that's why I suggested the spriggan.  I know there are a few mods, and maybe something in the Hearthfire kit, that let you put up a static version as a statue. I thought something like that could pass for a Nature Spirit statue.

"The effect of her smile was truly magical, I'm convinced. Her body was, of course, perfect; her face lovely and serene; her hair like silk flame."

According to lore, they had perfect bodies, so they probably represent the sexualized nymphs of ancient greek civilization.

They were pretty thicc in The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall:
