Archipau Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Hello, First, i'm just a frenchboi so sorry for my bad english So it's my first time playing skyrim, and it's been 5 days now that i try to install, configure all the mods i need for a good first experience. Seijin8 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Start slow, just a few mods. Make sure it is working. Then add some mods.

Years you say? I would say that's about right! You can export your LO via most Mod Managers and post it here. That's better than posting *png on another side. Maybe also check if your base setup is even able to handle a heavy modded Skyrim: Conglumerate Means: > SKSE.ini created? > Crash fixes installed? > ENBoost used? Only if the base setup is right you can hunt in your LO for > missing patches > bad mods > conflicts > badly sorted LO > hidden requirements > mod file overwrites > failed installations > ... or you will never be able to find out what exactly crashed your game, because to many possible causes.
travelmedic Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 I don't know all of those mods, but right away it looks like you have some load order problems. After Skyrim and the Update, Dawnguard should be installed first, then Hearthfire, then Dragonborn. You have HF, DB, DG. I don't know if that will cause crashes though. What mod manager are you using? Have you used LOOT to sort your order (Vortex will sort automatically I think)?
Archipau Posted September 17, 2019 Author Posted September 17, 2019 " Means: > SKSE.ini created? > Crash fixes installed? > ENBoost used? The next time that you are running LOOT note that there is an icon on the right end of the blue bar near the top that looks like three vertical dots or buttons. When you click on that icon the load order that LOOT has listed will then be copied to your clipboard. Come back here and hit the button in the middle of the bar above where you type that looks like an eye (it is just to the right of the quotes icon). That will open a spoiler. Now the cursor should be inside the spoiler (if not use your mouse to position the cursor into the spoiler). Then hit Ctrl+V to copy your clipboard contents into the spoiler. I know it sounds like a lot when typed out but it is actually very simple and will give a lot of useful information on one page.

I crash after 2 minuts or less, can even pass the moment when whe talk to the jarl for the first time Two simple things to start with. Move MoreNastyCritters (60) above SLAnimLoader (57) per the author's instructions. I am sure that the order you have is the one you got from LOOT but this is one of the rare cases in which LOOT consistently gets it wrong. Leave everything else alone and manually (that is with whatever mechanism your mod manager gives you) move MNC to just above SLAL. Tick XPMSE off. DO NOT DELETE THE MOD! Simply turn off the plug-in. The skeleton will remain (and you really want the skeleton) but the McMenu will disappear (which you don't need). With these changes made start a new game and see what happens.

As I am fond of saying, I will take any gratitude that you think I've earned in likes. That's the green thumbs up icon found in the bottom right corner of any post. It is grayed out until you hover over it and click it. By the way, you can also like mods here on LL. Go back to the page where you downloaded the mod. Scroll down to the end of the post where it is described. In the bottom right corner you will find a like button. In fact, it is easier to find there since the mod has probably already been liked and there will be a green counter next to the icon.

But if you have just a few minutes to help me a little bit more... My game just crash, but not like the other time. This time, i was able to play 30 minutes (at least) before he crash, and this time my screen was frozen 3-4 seconds before the crash. Any suggestion?
Archipau Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 can't even do a single step now, shit what's wrong with my mod list
Psalam Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 16 minutes ago, Archipau said: can't even do a single step now, shit what's wrong with my mod list You've got ALL the stability tools that Donttouchmethere suggested?: Spoiler This is from my very first blog post so excuse the format: 3) I get my crashes at some other place and time There are too many possibilities for this category to list all of them so I am going to stick with some recurrent themes. First, do you have the tools? Many tools have been developed to help stabilize and improve the modded Skyrim experience. In my opinion, among the most important are: 1) Crash fixes. Found here and fairly self-explanatory (as always, do read the directions): https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725 2) ENBoost. This one is more difficult and I hope to do a walkthrough at some point in the future. It is VERY important if you have less than 4GB of VRAM. If you have 8GB or more you probably don't need it. At 4GB it's your call (I have 4GB and I use it). Anyway, you will need to look in more than one place in order to complete this (although it will take you through it). Start here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73618 As if ENBoost is not difficult enough MicroSoft has chosen to throw some additional glitches in for users of Windows 10. If you have problems getting ENBoost to work and you run Windows 10 take a look at this (I had to): https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3089504-fix-for-skyrim-crashing-instantly-with-enb-on-windows-10/?p=56131491 3) SKSE. ini. The SKSE program does not come with this. As a result you do not get all the benefits of SKSE. While you can make your own version this one is already complete and optimized. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51038?tab=files 4) SKSE plugin preloader. Helps organize SKSE so as to improve management. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75795 5) Bethini. Skyrim's .ini files give it directions on how to handle your game. Problems with .ini files can cause all sorts of problems. While it is entirely possible to deal with these files by yourself Bethini gives you a tool with which to handle them safely. It is also much more intuitive than editing the files by yourself. It can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69787 Then, have you done things correctly? There are very many ways to do Skyrim correctly. Sadly there are even more ways in which to foul it up. Let me start with my favorite analogy for this. Modding Skyrim correctly (that is ending up with a stable game) is like good cooking. First, it requires the right ingredients (this is all the things that have been mentioned up to this point). Second, it takes patience (when I first came to LL I thought that the people giving me advice were brilliant and that their modded games just flowed from their genius. Now I know that they worked their asses off to make their game work, just like I did). Good food and a stable Skyrim game can not be rushed. Third, it can be seasoned to taste, There is no such thing as THE right set of mods or load order. Finally, no matter how much you may love two things individually sometimes they do not go together (some mods will just NOT place nice with other mods, I'm sorry at times you will just have to choose). A special case I'd like to mention is the corrupted mesh. If you find yourself unable to enter a particular cell (this usually occurs when you try to go through a doorway) you may have a corrupted mesh. If you attempt to use the console coc command and crash that way as well it makes the likelihood higher, frankly, close to 100%. So, now you know the cause you still have to go through your mods and see which one(s) is corrupting the mesh. While mods that say that they affect that cell should come high on your list of suspects my experience has been that the culprit is often something that doesn't come to mind as affecting that space.
Archipau Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Well i don't have Enboost because i don't know if i can install it through Mo or not, but i think i can try to install it manually first

Your load order has nothing to do with the crashing. Always install ENBoost manually and always get it from the EnBoost website and not Nexus. Instructions are here: https://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost

Eiszwerg1972 Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 You have two Fnis intallations in your loadorder one on Postion 6 , and a second on postion 59 . What is the second for a Mod ??? Normal is one instalation . Check the installation with TESEDIT . It Helps you to find the wrong Plugin in your loadorder .
