SexLab Solutions - Revisited

Hey so there is a bug with Valdr (dude outside spriggan/bear cave near falkreath zone) during the "Hunter and Hunted" quest. After your character offers him sex to make him feel better after losing his comrades, if you select "lets choose a more private location" he just follows you around with no dialogue to initiate the sex. Since MCM has no way of resetting this state hes in, I am forced to reload an old save...

 

Hope this mod is still being worked on.

I save the game before I deal with him because I can never recall which one of the 2 works.   You must choose "do it right here".

I havn't played Skyrim in sometime and I look back at some of the stuff I wrote for this and honestly cringe a little. But I am totally glad I done it, it got me back into wanting to write since my childhood and not long after I wrote a lot of that stuff, I started working on a adult game Girl Life and I am still working on it today. My writing has dramaticly improved since I did the stuff I wrote for this mod.

Question: How does the Ghroza (The female Orc Blacksmith in Markath) part work? Because I am unable to get her dialogue for the extra reward at all.

 

EDIT: Weird, I checked the file I have and the script for Ghorza isn't in there at all.

Have you tried redownloading the mod? Sometimes during installation scripts and other files may not have gone through.

Redownloaded, the script is there now... But I'm not sure why it still isn't working. Is there something I am suppose to do to get Ghorza offer sex?

Since it's clear the scripts were missing before you redownloaded it but it may be because the quests aren't triggering properly since you lacked the scripts to begin with earlier. I would suggest reloading the game to before you started the quest and see if it works. If it still fails, try making a new test save and just do that quest.

Tried it using Alternate start, everything worked BUT Ghorza... though that may be because I used console commands to spawn the book? Can anyone confirm Ghorza's part actually works?

Sorry for responding this late. But you probably shouldn't have used console to skip the work. So have you tried doing it manually and getting it to work? If not I may be inclined to look into it myself.

Just a bit of a question, is this mod technically Sexlab solution (as in it already has everything sexlab solution already added and adds more) or is this like a separate thing, like if I download the original solutions mod this just adds more stuff to it and wont cause conflict issues?

This is addressed in the description.  This is a standalone mod, you do not need the old one.

Can't seem to get this working on the latest AE version. Attached is my mod list. Does anything look like it might interfere with the events triggering? When I talk to beggars or drunks there is no (sex) option. Sexlab solutions appears to be active in the MCM though, so it's working to some degree. Just not in the actual game. Help would be appreciated as I'd like to keep this one going

It's not though..... all it says is that it is standalone - that doesn't mean at all that it has the content of the first one.

 

The description could be made clearer that all the quests from the first one are included if that is the case - not just that it doesn't require you to install the first one because it would rely on content from that mod for instance.

That description could simply mean the original Solution is not a dependency for this mod to work. It doesn't specify that this mod includes all the content of the original, making the original Solution redundant.

First line of the description:

"This is a continuation of the SexLab Solutions mod."

 

That tells me that this mod CONTINUED from where the original left off.  Pretty sure if features were removed it would have been mentioned in the change log.

Um no - I interpret it EXACTLY the other way - if it's a continuation it won't have the content of the original.  It is continued - so it is not the same content plus continued content - it's just the plus. If it's just a continuation it wouldn't have the original content.

 

It's all easier if you say the magic words "this module contains the original quests form Sexlab Solutions Mod" instead of implying it's merely a continuation that does not require the original for you to enjoy the added quests.

Dragonborn dialogues are missing. No options talking with Geldis, Nikulas, Mogrul. Will check it one more time. In Skyrim land all dialogues works perfectly.

Copy the entire contents of this mods script folder into the source folder in your Skyrim AE game directory. Tell me then how they work.

Copy, not move. Including the source folder within the scripts folder. Just copy them straight into Source in Data.
