Caliente Sisters

 

Here's the second part of the Caliente makeover. You might notice that there's no Katrina Caliente in this and that is because, like with Don Lothario I decided to base them mostly on their appearance and characterization in the older games, so their parents are Flamenco Caliente and Nighat Caliente (née al-Mahmoud), who are dead when they are young adults in the previous games, so I left them out of this as well. Like with Don Lothario I primarily based their appearnce on the console version of Sims 2, again found that most interesting, along with reference photos with the approximate look I was going for. Being twins they have pretty much exactly the same face features (Dina is a twin created off Nina after all), though hairstyle, eyebrows, makeup probably obscure some of it. 

 

 

 

They are both flirty, but where Dina is Materialistic (chosen because of the mention of her trying to woo Mortimer and marry him for his money in one of the old games), Non-Committal and Irresponsible, Nina is Hot-Headed and Argumentative but has generally more and higher levelled skills reflecting the description of her being "the brain of the twins" with an ambition to study medicine, so she now has the academic knowledge aspiration. 

 

 

Their careers across the games seem to have varied widely, but I chose to go with a mention of Nina having been a slacker in one of her Sims 2 appearances and gave her that custom career, while Dina, in line with the description of both of them being mentioned as having modelled tools for a hardware store, is at a low level in the modelling career (though with the Irresposnible and Non-Committal traits may perform badly and want to quit). 

 

Update 7/9/2020: Dina now has the High Maintenance custom trait by Kuttoe. It's noted and linked below. You'll have to download this separately, as sticking this in with the download risks including outdated versions.

@frankstallone She's Maryam Khoroushi from this pack. Though that's an old version. I gave her a pretty substantial makeover some time after making that set though. So she's very different from how you see her in that gallery, for the better, I believe, I really like the current version of her. I've also changed her some since that pack and not updated it before I started this thread.  

 

Updated version's coming in the next batch of sims, and I'm probably making a couple of more changes. One of which will probably consist of giving her glasses for most of her everyday-style outfits, I took some pictures of her in an outfit I put together a while ago a while ago, where she wore glasses and looking at it I really like the look of those glasses.

Nose is probably what's most similar between the versions yeah, though I did change the shape somewhat (still pretty big though ?). That and her tattoos would probably have been the best clue.

Melina Dwyer

 

Yet another reworked sim. And the fourth sim/household I've uploaded this weekeend, a pretty brisk pace if say so myself. Melina is a hair stylist living in Del Sol Valley and has part Native American ancestry. As her job is to make others look good, she's quite conscious of her own appearance as well and enjoys both hitting the gym regularly to exercize and dressing up for a night on the town or simply to take pictures of her self in a new outfit.

 

 

She's the type of person who likes to be noticed and to have others' attention on her. This also partly translates to her being controlling and jealous with her romantic relationships. She doesn't seem to apply the same standards to herself as readily, for when it comes to hooking up with someone with a handsome face and a nice body, Melina will generally think of the consequences later.

So know that your comments are valued  Also nice to see that it seems people have varied opinions on which of my sims they like the best, I think that's a good sign as far as the variety and differentiation goes

 

Also I made some slight changes to Melina, muscle slider and a couple of changes to her hip and belly area. Minor changes really, not super noticeable, but I reuplaoded her all the same. Here's an updated tray file if anyone wants it and a couple of pics, though as I said pretty minor changes (even compared to the other cases where I've uploaded updated tray files), but since I made them and saved her with the changes I figured I might as well reupload the archive anyway.

With Selda being one of my top favorites I found it really cool that you made her a streamer and raver, especially since I've always been confused by the outfit below. Glad to finally know.

Lauren Tan

 

 

Like Sabrina on the first page, Lauren is a model, though she is somewhat further along in that career than Sabrina is. She easily makes friends, being outgoing, confident and compassionate though she might also be termed a bit of a bimbo, being much more interested in looking pretty, going to parties or strutting the beach than any intellectual pursuits. That said such priorities are not an excuse to underestimate her and her commitment in areas where she's naturally gifted or interested.

 

Lauren is originally from Sulani, which is reflected in some of the pics and her heat acclimation trait, she's however not a native and only has passing familiarity with the Toki Sulani language. She enjoys being active and loves to be outside, at the beach or taking a walk in the woods, and really enjoys sharing pictures and updates of herself to her Simstagram when does so.

Glad you liked it. Having her be a raver actually goes back pretty far, and it started with me throwing together that outfit on her while just messing around and liking it enough to make it a part of her warderobe. Though back then I didn't really write up short bios/descriptions of any of my sims (with a couple of descriptions). The video game streamer thing is much more recent though I think it fits her.

No new upload from me today, I seem to have fallen sick, so the preference at the moment is for lying down.

 

I do have a very small update to Lauren above though, I gave it some thought and I arrived at the conclusion that 5'3" is probably a bit short for someone who's a model, so I made her a bit taller. I also changed the top on her third party outfit (the texture didn't look that good closer up), and there's a couple of other small outfit changes. So yeah, this is a really small change and mostly relevant to the bio above and those who use the same height slider I use, so same deal as before with reuploads. Here's the tray files for those who want them.

Would it be preferred to use MCCC to establish all the relationships if I import all your sims into a save game?

Although I get confused every now and then which sim is in which household and whos friends with or not.

That's how I'd do it (and how I do it when I play), yeah.

 

I can see why it's kind of confusing, all the info I've put up regarding that are in the individual descriptions (and partly in the picture stories I've done over time, though often the selections of sims in those have been more or less arbitrary). It's more clear to me because I've thought a little bit about that with most of the sims I've made and now I'm thinking more about it when I include small bios of sorts with each uploaded sim. 

 

Though one post isn't really enough to establish a trend, the previous requests for a save game does kind of establish that some people are interested in this. Me uploading that save game would provide an easy way for others to get these relationships and such into their world and provide something I can keep building on and adding to.

 

Currently I want to get done with this group of Sims and two more before I upload a save game. As these will kind of round out the current groups of sims I've uploaded. Then after that I can continue to add sims and households (in related groups, either by theme or relationship) for download and to add them to the world.

Yeah, a save game would be great, I endorse such a suggestion. 

....am I the only one here that just downloaded TS4 for Wickedwhims and its lovely community over at LoversLab? But seriously, your sims are great. Better than anything I can make lol.

I've taken a small break from lying in bed being sick and uploaded a small update to Sabrina Kane, consisting of a new outfit (Halloween costume, I'll probably be adding that to several of my sims as I think of and put together costumes for them, primarily for use in a Halloween party story like I've done before, but I'll also "store" them under the formal category and include them with the sims I think) and some small changes to body shape and using a different swatch for her cleavage overlay and having her use a niple overlay by noir and dark. I also made some skill changes and set her up with some simstagram followers, but not enough for a celebrity level. 

 

Since the primary change is the addition of a new outfit with new CC, I'm not uploading the updated tray files separately. 

 

Here's a picture to show the new outfit and new nude appaerance (due to her long hair the changes aren't really that apparent for other outfits so I left all the other pictures in the description post alone, for now at least).

Thank you mrrakkon! Wowsers! I normally just lurk on LL and keep my Sim Stories to myself. However, when it's not the Actress, Supermodel, or Vampire/Astronaut/Ninja that propositions my Main Sim but, the bookworm College Student, Thalia at a Celebrity Fundraiser shindig....it genuinely took me by surprise....and I immediately had to scrap the original narrative I had planned for him just to see where this goes...So, Kudos great sir..I now have to clean up my burn out actor turned Bukowski-esque hack novelist a bit to keep her interested. But, Kudos all the same. Frelling excellent work allround and I look forward to the next update.
