The mod works fine on current version, I have a question though. I play as motherly hive which works decently, but the problem is that no pops takes the motherly jobs. Precious xenos works but no one takes hive jobs. I am missing something?

There was a massive overhaul on how jobs are assigned a few patches back, which has broken basically every mod that introduces new jobs (and which hasn't been updated since).

 

You could look at some more recent mods, or the stellaris base game, and try to recode the jobs if you want to use them.

I did as Schroecat said, and it worked for me. 

 I replaced the Job calls in the original mod with the functions that Lustful Void uses for the same types of jobs.  This does add Lustful Void v0.6.7 as a hard dependency, but I'm pretty sure it already was.

I've tested this in a Motherly Hive play and it has worked without issue so far, I've been able to use the new jobs without issue.

 

Extract the files in this folder and replace the originals with the same name with them.
The path of the originals to replace is :
<stellaris mod path>\Wild_Lascivity\common\pop_jobs\

<stellaris mod path> is typically: C:\Users\<YOUR USER>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod
The files to replace are:
wl_lv_motherly_hive_jobs.txt
wl_lv_pop_jobs.txt

Q: If you are a Megacorp empire do you have access to the exotic fauna buildings from normal empires i.e. can you build them? or are all those overridden by the megacorp versions of those buildings?

I can only assume that you haven't downloaded the "unofficial" patch by @latdheretic.  It'll work fine once you do.

My game is up to date, and the mod works fine with the "unofficial" patch, maybe it's conflicting with another mod. My suggestion would be to start disabling mods, and try launching it.

Is there any requirement for unlocking the wild pleasure reserve? All the other buildings from this mod show up fine in the list, except for that one. I looked at fauna_buildings_02 and the only requirements I can see are not having a zoo nor sanctuary on that planet already (as well as restrictions regarding hive and mechanical empires - tho I am neither and those should have equivalent buildings anyways).

i think the archaeological stuff needs to be updated:

- WL_lv_decision_solo_expedition_events.50, as described on the mod page does not work with a science ship selected, it complains about that being a fleet. you need to enable debugtooltip, look up a science vessel id and then explicitely state that in the command. that creates two popups and then... nothing.

- could not find event mat_lv_zinara_project_events.9000, as described on page six

- i checked in the savegame and there is nothing related to the archaeological site except for the WL_lv_discovered_ancient_tomb flag, so the issue in the code is probably right after that

 

also, i still havent found out how to build a wild pleasure reserve (tho the zoo or pet shop are possible???? how can one building not appear but the others?)

 

... which is a shame, honestly, it seems like this mod has a bunch of great content that unfortunately is just inaccessible rn.

Is the biological traits like domestic uplift locked behind something? its not appearing in the trait selection menu. Any insight is much appretiated

Don't know what happened but up until today a good portion of the mod was working for me, now it isn't and i can't figure out what caused this sudden change. I greatly enjoy what i've been able to see of the mod and I'm going to bad to see it go from my modlist... Do we have any word from or about the mod author in the past few years about the state of the mod and its future? Is someone going to unofficially take up the mantle for this project or create worthwhile and easy to install patches for what we have. I say that as the fix using the "stellaris modpack utility" on github  has proven beyond me. I hope we hear something from the mod author soon or that someone adopts the mod going forward.
