Error Code 193

So I've been trying to load up sexlab for the first time but it seems that there's a problem with it and script extender. I'm new to modding so I'm not really sure what's going on but mod loader says this is the only problem currently where script extender is failing to load certain plugins.

 

The failed plugins are:

• Couldn't load MfgConsole.dll (SexLabFramework v162 FULL). The last error code was 193.

• Couldn't load SexLabUtil.dll (SexLabFramework v162 FULL). The last error code was 193.

• Couldn't load StorageUtil.dll (SexLabFramework v162 FULL). The last error code was 193.

 

Any help or insight into this problem would be much appreciated.

I don't know that error code,

let me ask you some questions first,

maybe helps to find a solution:

> what modmanager do you use?

> do you know all the requirements of sexlab and installed them?

> you are installing sexlab on skyrim legendary (LE)?

 

It seems to me your missing SKSE or didn't install it right or didn't start the game via SKSE

(because all those failed to load plugins are SKSE related)

The odds are that there is one or more "basic" mods that everyone assumes that you know about but you don't. If you follow his guide to get started you may find your other issues disappearing.

Have you installed skse in the SKYRIM directory itself or dod you try to install it in Mod Organizer? If so that may be what was wrong with it.

I installed it manually, but I might've done something incorrectly.

that's pretty clear

 

sexlab have as master the mod that have mfgconsole (to see more stuff when you click on something in console), you haven't install that

sexlab have as master mod that have storageutil and sexlabutil, you haven't install that either

and you probably haven't install other things that should have been installed

 

or it's the wrong version (mod x can check mod y global value version is y, to ignore it if it's not y, no idea if that can be done for dll)

I thought you needed to install storage util from it's own mod. I heard sexlabs was supposed to be outdated. mfgconsole comes with sexlab. You shouldn't have to install it. (see picture)

You are using mod loader right? Usually people say install sexlab and then these ones (see picture and in that order) on the left panel. Could you possibly show us a screenshot of you mod loader settings? It's possible you've either had a corrupt install file or did something wrong with because as you can see in previous post, those dll's should already be included in sexlab itself. The papyrus util one is just so that sexlab works with the latest version of it (ansd potential other mods)

Your .png file didn't load. When you load a picture grab the picture's file with your mouse and drag it onto the strip below the area in which you type (where there is a handy paperclip to hold it). After a few seconds a miniature will appear there. If, as you did with your post you simply want it at the end just hit the "Submit Reply" button and it will automatically load at the end of your post. Otherwise, you can hit the "+" icon on the miniature to load it into your post and use you mouse to move the cursor past it and continue typing, or whatever.

Does that work?

No. Save it as a jpg. Drag it to the paperclip. You will see a box appear, let go of the image and it will build a thumbnail. If the thumbnail doesn't appear in the text area then just double-click on it.

 

You don't want to be using an image for your load order anyway. Use LOOT, the three verical dots in the top R-H corner. Save it as a text file and post the text, not the actual file, here. Use spiler tags (the eye symbol, two to the left of the emoji symbol).

You're using SKSE for special edition and sexlab (and most likely some others) for legendary edition. They aren't compatible, get the right mods for your version of the game.

SKSE 64, SL 1.62. One of them has to be wrong. And i'm not sure, but i don't think submit ever got a release for SE.

just as a tip you can also just google tje .jpeg or .png file and get the picture or at least thats what I did

I also have this issue and use Vortex...  no idea why it comes up since it worked fine a few days ago. well pretty much it didnt do much of anything really i couldnt even get basic functions to actually do anything

seriously no info about your crash but only that you crash .

 

we do not use crystal balls !!!!

 

and yes error code 193 is more from skse  issue 

you need to check up witch version to download and download it again 

and important use 7zip.exe only to unzip skse and install.

I guess bad install or bad download ?‍♂️

or worse: bad SKSE install or not installed at all

 

coolfreaky seems to be on the right track there.

 

=> check your SKSE installation, best to do it via the zip download and install manually

have you managed to fix your problem yet? i have the same issue but apparently no one has a solution
