EMack114 Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Yeah; I downloaded Skyrim Special Edition and I used Vortex to install the sex lab and I get the same thing. I'm not sure what it is, but if anyone has an answer, please let me know.

Probably because you have an incompatible mod installed instead of the SE version.

Is there another place to download the Mod from? Or maybe I should just use the normal Skyrim instead of the Special Edition? Thanks for the info, btw.

So take a good look around, check the forum sections, file names, mod descriptions, etc. For some information source posts check the blue links in my signature.

I got confused by the titles, so we're almost good to go; thanks for the help. Last question; I downloaded the FNIS, but it seems to keep the characters in a stationary pose, even when they move and withdraw weapons and what not. Does anyone know what this is? Once again, thanks for helping me out! This community rocks.

Does anyone know what this is? That happens when you have incompatible animations. FNIS should give you warnings about it. For even more warnings you can check the HKX file compatibility check in the patches before using FNIS. Wait for FNIS to finish updating the thing and read all the text. Check anything named warning or error, there will be a mod name associated to these warnings. So remove the mod(s) in question, find the proper version (SE for Skyrim SE or LE for regular Skyrim). And that's it, you should re-check all your mods in case you got other things mixed for the game version you're not using.

No, it's saying your game isn't being detected as a legal copy. Your install path doesn't seem like an Steam install either. Fishy business. It isn't detecting your game version either, and the XPMSE skeleton is listed but the bone count isn't right. So your FNIS is not properly configured to work with whatever mod manager you use. Although I'd fix the not legal part first. Edit: if you have a legit copy the fix for that warning is literally explained in the warning itself.

Bought my game via steam, paid for it straight and true, but I'll look into it. Path is where all the my other steamapps games are so, I guess I'll do some HW on that. As for the FNIS configuration, I'll try a reinstall. Maybe that will work. Thanks, my man!

So, FYI the 1st Issue worked itself out. Reinstalled the game and restarted it once through Steam, so that error went away, I'll try reinstalling FNIS; maybe that will help with the issue. Thanks!
Grey Cloud Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 If FNIS is not showing any errors then there is no need to reinstall it. You need to reinstall the XPMSE skeleton as the bone count is wrong. It should read like this: Skeleton(hkx) female: XPMS2HDT (126 bones) male: XPMS2HDT (126 bones)

That log looks way better than the previous one. Now for the MNC warning I can only recommend you to check the install guide for MNC, it has instructions and links for all the SE mods you need to make it work. Additionally, you could ask in the support thread of the MNC SE conversion and see if there are additional instructions not covered in the guide (I think there were some recent updates to the MNC and related mods).

CokeyCola Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 If anyone is having trouble with this, just install the right version from "SexLab SE - Sex Animation Framework". I had the same error codes, installed the right version, and then the errors were fixed.
