Apart from the LST creatures you so suggested, I also plan to include the 'Soul of a Whore' from Crowning Isles, and the weird Facehugger wanna-bes from "LoversGGBlackmail'... when I get the chance.

 

I'm taking my time and reviewing some code.  

 

When it comes to the original instances of Generators, they had basically made 'multiple' hiyoko references and let ONE of them be picked.  This means plenty of references to .disable.  This was not as clean as just randomizing a series of numbers representing the hiyokos... choosing one of the numbers, and snagging that ONE hiyoko from the list.  No excess actor references added.

 

Brood Mother used the same mechanics from the earlier generators, and used a WHILE...LOOP system that was basically.... um.... WHY?  If you are generating a SCALON creature, there are no multiple SCALONS to snag!!!  So, like my editions of Generator, I eliminated this While...Loop.   This cuts down on the script reading clutter and makes more sense.  I mean, you only generated one Hiyoko per conception.... so it made no sense that this would force a loop for one Hiyoko.  Twin births still supported.  ;)

 

I added more scripts, my a3hgmbGetChildSkeleton now being named a3hgmbGetSkeleton and acting much like LAPF's own skeleton model test. The test returns values of 44-46 for the LoversCreatures additions, and 47 for the LB Werewolf skeleton.  So the Child Model retrieval code that uses it will now look much cleaner.   I also added a VERSIONING script similar in design to all the others.

LoversCreature 2.5+ compatibility has just been added.  By that, a creature MAY be borne male or female based upon ye olde 'TamagoClub' child gender settings...  The Child Gender settings just controls if the sperm is flagged Male or Female.   The generator won't change the creature into its defined gender until it is enabled and visible in-game, so this was done by adding a token to update its gender after its birth.

 

I haven't installed LC Mushrooms or Hitode as yet.  But I have tested gender control and certain creature appearances have indeed changed... dogs... minotaurs...  Yep, it works.

 

 

NO CHANGES TO ANY INI FILES OR CRAP!  Its fine as it is.  Just ... rearranged a few sections in the mod/plugin and made the script code easier to read. But seeing that it IS more organized, adding new supported creature content will be much easier.

I still exist.  But damn.... now not since August?  C'mon guys!  SAY SOMETHING!!!

 

Well, I do have something.

 

Yes, the job I have that is not Lovers related is still taking a toll upon my LL existence, so I may vanish for some time again.  But I have been tinkering with a mod.  At once, something simple, but also complex.  I call it Vacant Houses.


The premise of Vacant Houses is simple.   In Vanilla Oblivion, you may buy a house from the city's Count, Countess, Steward or from the Imperial Office.   I figured that if the residents of any other viable house 'dies'... that house should also be available for purchase.... only after you bought the vanilla house of course.

 

I expanded this to run checks to see if the residents of any house were 'enslaved' with LoversSlaveTrader... and just flag the house available for squatting without issue (like owned beds).  And I only just added a condition into LoversSlaveTrader that works with my prototype VacantHouses that returns the house to the NPCs control upon release from slavery.

 

This mod only handles the 203 houses within the city walls of all the major cities (Anvil through Skingrad).  Not the castles nor the chapels, not the stables, not the lighthouse, and not the imperial office where you may buy the Imperial Waterfront shack.  It also doesn't cover the farms(Applewatch, etc.), small villas (Pell's Gate, Water's Edge, Hackdirt, etc) nor Forts or ruins (Fort Grief, Sercen, Fanacal).  And it doesn't cover the breathtaking and beautiful Isles run by Sheogorath.

 

But I have allocated some script space here n there in case I want add-on capability.

I want a mod - with girls-bunnies - with a full set of animations of bunnies, where they will run around the fields and do all sorts of things, involve passersby.. .

There's a TON of dialogue for house purchases, I mean, the NPCs being like "Oh, that's a house on the East side of town, right? Yes, a pity we lost such a valiant member of the fighter's guild." ... or something like that for EACH FREAKIN HOUSE!!!  In some cases, multiple depending on quest events such as for Mythic Dawn members.

 

Nope, I don't have vocal packs for this (... yet?).

Well, that's it.  Done.  Granted, I put Vacant Houses in Non-Adult mods as it does not need Lovers for use.

 

:D But I left some special 'script-space' within for instances of.... Crowning Isles, Maeva's bookstore, Horse Rider, Claudia, Nehrim, and more.  This if any add-ons are produced.

 

I do need to get back to LoversPlaySSP for the marriage system as I intend you to be able to move in with your spouse with no problem.

I never get it to work 100%. Many times the NPC and the player just get stuck inside each other. It would be cool to use it as an alternative foreplay or warming up for sex. The sneak button is used to exit the animation. The exit procedure could be triggered by script and then enter LPK sex instead. But it requires the animation to be stable.

Has anyone worked on that?

I never use anything from the Nexus since Dante bent me over and butt raped me and over 1,000 mods. Just stopping by to ask:

 

I bought my fourth copy of this game today on Steam. What is common courtesy? I stopped modding Oblivion in 2013. Back then I was using a Core 2 Duo.  I have an 11th gen i5. Ten years ago my scripts would only run if you were in a specific location.

 

Now I think I can hang out in Cheydinhal and fire off scripts in Anvil. That used to make my game crash.  Crap computer...

That is because the Nexus is garbage. The only thing you should download from The LOL Nexus is clothes, armour, weapons.... Yadda yadda.. That website is shit. Garbage.

I'm afraid Donkey isn't here.  In fact, posts he made attribute him as Donkey-Guest as if his posts were made by a guest account and not as a member.  This I assume was to keep his posts here whilst removing his digital footprint.

 

Towards Oblivion, you may find some mods still being maintained or added. And one new quest campaign that takes you away from Cyrodiil towards an Island Paradise is in the works.

Well, for vampire and/or werewolf mods with quests, and an assortment others you cannot find here.  Good luck finding Order of the Dragon in LoversLab. 

 

I have my old Win Vista HD with all my mods and tools and previous copy of Oblivion. Doesn't play well with a modern i5, though. I also bought yet another copy of Oblivion GOTY (can't find my old disks) on sale the other day.

 

I'll be going through everything and see what still works. Going to play vanilla for a bit first.

Dinna worry.   I run it on a Win10 system.  Now, you may need to acquire the older 2010 C++ Redistributable for the Construction Kit Extended, but you can find that in an attachment linked in my signature.

Well... planning on going through my works.  

 

One option I am adding is a 'Silent Mode' feature which prevents Initialization Pop-Ups from showing at game start.  With this mode added to the Tamago/Hiyoko set, I no longer have to see all those "We are now creating the name list for your hiyoko" from showing, or all the spells added (if any).  I am planning to include this into LoversRaperS so all the rape spells no long need to be listed at game start. And what other mods I have that do the same will be tackled.  This is the same basic feature as the Silent Load option I added to LoversSlaveTrader months ago.

 

Lengthy test-plays of course.

Why?  e.g. LoversRapers. You get the "spell add message" only once when you install the Mod and then never again.
That's good, you know the Mod works and you know how many new spells you got and the names. So you can test the new spells.
Without the message you don't even know that the mod has spell ( 90% of the Mod used do not read readmes )

It's a good thing to 'Silent Mode' spell messages you get every game start.

Obviously, this is an 'option' that is being implemented, and will be implemented in all products of note.  And its default setting is that the mode is turned Off at start.  Only by the user turning it on does it take effect. When one has a large number of mods that continue to render pop-ups and messages when they begin a play-through, seeing all those messages can be rather annoying. Likewise, if one is familiar enough with the mods, they are fairly assured that the mod has indeed loaded.

 

With the mods from various sources which I have in my setup, I have to wade through three minutes of displays. This is an annoyance that I intend to limit, allowing users to decide for themselves if they want such messages to appear or not. And again, it is initially Off, and must be activated for use. It is their choice to use it or not.

 

I would "HOPE' that more mod users read the readme files than what you suggest.  BUT that is why I have likewise been placing instructions of use within the actual INI files.  There should be less confusion that way. Admittedly, they are in English and not all users speak the language.  I wonder if anyone would wish to create 'alternate language' ini files...

ini option is ok. and turned off as well.

Often newbies can't find the ini or don't know that they could change anything there. . . because they never read the readme.

Maybe add a pop-up message: "Read the readme" and "There is an ini file in data\ini"  :classic_wink: :classic_biggrin:

Well, I always love to give options without deflecting away from original content or design.  ADD... but never remove or alter base design.

 

The problem with trying to make something foolproof is that somehow there's always a bigger fool. :joy:

Yeah, no kidding.   I just attacked LoversEncounter.  And rather than use the convoluted means of using if...endif blocks nested within one another to generate the resulting rumour, I decided to go another route.  I decided to list each rumor out one at a time, adding each one to the whole rumours-selecting array, and then let code weed out the ones that don't match the condition.

 

Tell me this doesn't look easier to read.

Each rumor has these in common:

  • There are six numbers that handle their 'conditions' (rape, creatures, aggressive females, etc).
  • There is a single number that determines text flow ( aggressor/target or target/aggressor).
  • There is a floating point value that handles how long the message stays on-screen
  • Then the text that includes two %n placeholders for character names.

 

It is pretty complete, though it doesn't know jack about LoversCreatures 2.5+ (later....),  no determination as to what KIND of creature for any customized dialogue (Unholy daedric, Necrophilia, etc), and nothing on marital affairs (mebby later).  However, the conditions added covers every rumour from the original, and then some.

 

... Oh, I am so open to suggestions for more rumours. ;)

 

And before you say it, yes.  I have wondered if I could now just have all the rumours in a TEXT/INI file to load up at game start, so rumours can be later added on the fly without changing code.  But before I consider that, I need consider what other 'conditions'  may be desired beyond the base 6 categories I already have.

Do you know how much work needs to be put into LoversEncounter to make it LoversCreature 2.5+ compatible? Um... 5 lines. ON GAME LOAD, I ONLY NEED TO FUCKIN' CHECK TO SEE IF THE MOD IS IN PLACE!!!   LoversEncounter already comes with TamagoClub values built-in, including a womb test.  So ... just (1) check to see if LC 2.5+ is loaded, and then (2) see if the fucker has a womb!!!  MALE/FEMALE TEST COMPLETE!

 

So now, I just lie back and reconsider how to handle the creatures... (I'm lying back now and typing train-of-thought😞

  • If the encounter has no creature, the encounter is set to '0' for the CREATURE test.
  • If the encounter has a creature running Pre-LC2.5, the encounter is set to '1' for the CREATURE test.
    • With Pre-LC2.5, all creatures are assumed Male by default for the GENDERS test.  M/F and M/M considerations.
  • If the encounter has a creature with LC2.5 is detected, the encounter is set to '2' for the CREATURE test.
    • With LC2.5, it needs only test the creature for a womb for the GENDERS test, this allowing for all SameSex/HeteroSex options.
    • With LC2.5, creatures, female creatures can be flagged with the FEM STYLE test... as any other. (if ever...)

 

In short, the messages already established do not need to be changed, or changed that much!  I just need to update and adapt some sort mechanics.

 

Then, I very well MAY add a TABOO factor:  Daedric, Undead, etc.

 

Scratching the whole Taboo idea.  Only HalLiurz and Count Hassildor would ever generate Undead content if at all, and there's really no other Undead or Daedric reactions I've ever seen generated.

Yeah...  :D   I do tend to really crank code out when I put my mind to it.  Albiet, I went through a number of playthroughs of messages and conditions to make sure nothing broke.  And that took actual hours. 

 

Yes, the rumours are now a separate text file that loads at game start.  And as a text file, new rumours may be entered without changing actual code conditions. 

AND... I now have defined 7 conditions rather than 6.  Marriage status is now a part of the rumor-defining options.  This can now be entertaining if Rena Bruiant and Bailey actually got busy... suggesting she liked her dog better than her hubby!

 

There's no way to define 'taboo' conditions like mother/daughter content between Seed-Neeus and Dar-Ma, or anything else without searching through every character lore.  That's already been done regarding married couples (though the initial AdultPlayPlus ignored the Moslins in HackDirt, the couples in Border Watch... and a couple more.)

 

I currently only have 49 rumors, both Consentual and Rape:

CONSENTUAL:
The first digit of the 7, this is merely an on/off 0-1 switch:

0:  Set to this, the dialogue is between consenting adults

1:  Set to this, the dialogue assumes that the sex is being forced.

 

CREATURE:
The second digit of the 7, this value ranges from values 0 to 4:

0:  Set to this, the rumour is defined solely for NPCs.  It is not available for any creature content

1:  Set to this, the rumour is defined between NPC and Creature. There is no defined creature preference.

2:  Set to this, the rumour is for NPC and Creature and suggests that the Creature is indeed male.

3:  Set to this, the rumour is for NPC and Creature and suggests that the Creature is female.

4:  Set to this, the rumour is specifically for Creature X Creature sex.

 

LOCATION:
The third digit of the 7, this value ranges from 0-3:

0:  Set to this, the rumours can be used anywhere. It is assumed that no location is specified within.

1:  Set to this, the rumours suggest that sex had taken place within a house or some domicile.

2:  Set to this, the rumours suggest that sex occured outside, but on the streets or within city walls.

3:  Set to this, the rumours suggest that the sex had taken place outside the city.

 

GENDERS:

The fourth digit of the 7, this value also ranges between 0-4:

0:  Set to this, the rumors do not care between the participant's genders.

1:  Set to this, the rumors merely reflect same-sex coupling.

2:  Set to this, the rumours depict male-on-male same-sex coupling.

3:  Set to this, the rumours suggest female-on-female same-sex coupling.

4:  Set to this, the rumours should suggest male-on-female coupling.


FEMALE PARTICIPATION STYLE:

The fifth digit of the 7, this value has a simpler 0-2 range:

0:  Anything generic permitted (usually assumes female NPC submissive).

1:  This enforces a female being the submissive.  Creature included if not SameSex.

2:  This suggests that the female is the aggressor in the situation

 

MARRIAGE STATE:

The sixth digit of the 7, this value ranges from 0-4:

0:  The rumor defined has no bearing on anyone being married or not

1:  Neither of the participants are married.

2:  Both participants are married to each other.

3:  CHEATERS!  Any of the participants may be married, but not to each other.

4:  Widowed. The participant lost their 'other' either pre-defined or quest related.

 

PREGNANCY STATE:
The last of the 7 digits, this ranges between 0-2:

0:  Pregnancy has no bearing and is a general rumor

1:  The partner defined (assumed receiving) is not pregnant (used for 'impending?')

2:   The partner defined actually IS pregnant.  Can't get MORE knocked up, can she?

 

Between all these, a very elaborate collection of rumours should be possible.

 

 

If anyone had suitable ideas for rumours, I would actually not mind.  I figure this needs to be filled a bit more. 

 

 

 

EDIT:
I just added 'widows' as an option in the Marriage Style category.  This for Countess Valga, Ursanne Loche, Eduard Retiene or a handful of others predestined to lose their counterpart... IF a package (present or future) allows an encounter. But it will not as yet account for unplanned deaths if the player goes murder-hobo.

Also... new configuration options added:

  • GUARDS:  You can now disable any rumours that involve guards, or limit them to just aggressive or submissive couplings.
  • GOSSIP DELAY:  The displayed rumours have a defined duration. However, the duration can now be cut to just half the speed or doubled in length with a (-10 to 10) range.  0 is obviously ignored and the duration is normal.

While working on some code to test for the detection of XXXXX, it dawned on me that there had to be a better way than make detection methods for certain things over ... and over... and over again.   For example, TamagoClub takes a history of your activities and says where you first got busy or where you just got laid.   And in LoversEncounter, it branches dialogue on whether you are inside a building, in a city, or not.  Both use a system to just check World Cell locations...

 

... So why not make a simple "Detectable" plugin?

This suggested plugin merely reads a text file  that has the following content:

  1. The basic name of world cell.  But not like "BrumaWorld".  Just "Bruma".
  2. The formID of that world cell
  3. The MOD to which that world cell belongs

 

The mod would read this list into memory, and have one (relatively) simple script.   In my mind, each line it reads would be in the format:  "FormID|WorldSpace Name|Mod Name".  So a three-parameter line, each param ceparated by a pipe ("|") character.

Once done, I could theoretically just do a little magic and 'detect' if this mod is loaded in my Oblivion load order, and use GetFormFromMod and just access this single script's function. :)   And yes, I have been able to make mods that are not a part of "CrowningIsles" and still determine if my PC was in the isles with that mod.  So theoretically, this should be... FUN.

 

EDIT:  Oh, and another list for EditorIDs for specific areas like Hackdirt, Pell's Gate or whatever needs to be named. :cool:
