Well it's done, I deleted DOA6. I love the game but it's time to accept I'm never going to be able to play this kind of game again. :( (((
Dropped competitive FPS for the same reason.

I too deleted my blender a few days ago. This program is hopelessly difficult for me. Now the whole world must learn about and sympathize with me.

?

Check for "ITM_CMN_NYOWING_001.g1m" & "ITM_CMN_NYOWING_002.g1m" in your CharacterEditor folder.

Those could be the culprit.  If so, just remove them from the folder.

The mesh you were trying to merge into the g1m file contains a bone not exist in the g1m file. You can try the g1m_bonetool.exe, however, I also got weight problem with the g1m_bonetool.exe. I normally just remove the "RF_L_FootAdjust" vertex group (I believe it is for very high heel ) and do a weight transfer from the foot model in the target g1m.

Check if the problematic bone name is still in the vgmap file after export from blender. Just delete the vg in blender will not clear the vgmap setting.

- Is it possible to mix parts from different costumes? For example, a hat from a costumes, shoes from another one, and so on?

- Is it possible to do the same things, but with costume parts of different characters?

- Is it easy to give a whole costume to another character?

- Is it hard to edit small parts of a costumes (something like this)?

Is there any decent tutorial that explain how to do these things? Thank you.

Mesh editing is easy, but texture editing gets hard when u add parts of diferent costumes

And where can I find guides that are easy to understand (not something like "Do this, then that and you are done")?

I know how to mesh edit, but for texture editing u need PS and im not gonna pay for it.. xd

I usually do this recolors using existant textures but its really limitated

If u want i can tell u the basic stuff (im not a pro modder tbh) of how i do them
