do you guess really not know what's going on with this whole thing between blizzard, American companies, and the protest? Its going to lead to DoA getting affected with more censorship if it hasn't already, if Koei tries to go out of their way to make sure that games like DoA and their others are approved in China.

Can we find out more? Who is protesting against what? Here, many are very far from America and do not know what is happening there.

I come to porn forums to get rid of political shit(and the endless argument between China and the western) bombarding over the social media. I'm so tired of being forced to choose a political stand at any discussion. Plz post your political opinion to twitter or somewhere else.

Post a HK-supporting mod in a new topic is OK, just leave us to choose. But don't you start preaching at modding thread, which has many Chinese viewers. Freedom of expression doesn't mean you can say "pork is yummy" in front of a Muslim.

I just edited my last comment. The whole reason why Americans don't like Blizzard right now and calling the NBA cowards is because they're going out of their way to censor people who talk about it by firing and suspending those who side with Hong Kong. American companies like Disney, Apple, Google, etc. Doesn't want to piss off China because of their money. China is neck to neck with America when it comes to entertainment products sold or something a long those lines. And Japan is in 3rd place but they're no where near China and America when it comes to Game Revenue. Like the American government does not like what Blizzard didn't at all.
 

Its fine to not care about it, but this is going to affect games as a whole if companies side with Chinese censorship for money, over going by their own country's censorship.

Politics will always be a part of gaming... I mean just look why we're here in the darkside. It wasn't too long ago where you'd get in trouble for even modding this and other fighting games. I know CAPCOM is still flagging people for having modded resident evils. And it wasn't too long ago that KOEI threatened to not port DOA to PC because of the nude mods.

Well exactly, no one is forcing you to pick a side. I'm not going to be that guy that tells you, "Pick a side or I'll attack you!", then when you pick the wrong side I still attack you, or "You don't have anything to complain about since you didn't care until after it started affecting you." I made the mod so people who don't want their games being censored even more than it already is. Especially if it turns out Koei is using Chinese censorship later on.

 

I didn't care or like politics after it started affecting me and everyone else. I didn't care about loot boxes, now look at where they are at now. I didn't care about censorship in video games, thinking "it's not a big deal" Look at where it's at now.

 

Isn't that why we're also here? Fight against censorship? Not just Tits and dicks? Uncensoring Dead or Alive because team ninja censored the game for a bunch of people who don't even play it?

Capcom is deleting mods too? Koei just deleted some of Gatto Tom's mods, like I predicted. But I'm not sure if its for a reason or not. So I can't say much about it.

Where did they remove the mods? Gatto Tom can post his mods here on LL, but he doesn't want to. Why? Because he wants to make money from them.

No one will like it if someone tries to make money on his work.  This has nothing to do with censorship.

You can make paid mods on Steam's workshop too, I thought you couldn't and can only make them free? But Like I said, I predicted that people who put they're mods on patreon are going to go missing, and I was specifically talking about him. But I was offline the whole time, so I don't know what happened. I didn't know he was putting mods DoA5 mods on steam for Final Fantasy until after he said it.

 

With Koei, I have no idea what their stance on mods are right now, it seems like they are only targeting people who make money off mods, but then why did they target Snake on YouTube for just showcasing nude mods in DoAXVV.....but does nothing to other people who showcase Nude mods in DoA6?

And I should also point out too, it's not the Chinese people that Americans are having a problem with right now, its the Chinese government, influencing our companies. That's going to lead to very very bad things.

 

I was working with a modder who lives somewhere near China. Is he upset about what I said? I don't know, I'm giving him space but that's the point we are making here with blizzard. We shouldn't have to sugarcoat this. We can still work together and have different opinions.

That's why I'm not talking about the Chinese government directly towards him because I'm not sure if he actually lives in mainland China or somewhere else near it and don't want to get him or any other Chinese viewer in trouble.

Yea. All he told me was Koei Copyright claimed like 5-8 of his videos on YouTube. They were gameplays of DoAXVV. But he was intentionally making nude mod videos, just to see exactly what YouTube and Koei Tecmo was going to do. 

 

Like that sounded like they wanted to make sure that he wasn't getting those videos back. He kept saying that YouTube would delete a video, he would ask YouTube, "why was the video deleted? there was nothing wrong with it." Then YouTube would give the video back.

Well, I don't think mods but mod videos yes I have a friend who posted some RE2 videos of Claire mods a bit ago and they got copyright striked.

I don't know if it's mods specifically but I do know they are taking down mod videos of RE2. I had a friend who got hit with some copyright strikes for showing some claire mods.

I managed to get the blood to appear on Ayane's chest, but I now don't know how to recreate it again. The only thing wrong with it was the blood will appear when the camera is close to her.

 

Does this mean we can add our own battle damage, like @snake230 Brutal mod? I don't know. I haven't tried it yet. .kidswtm is also "dirt" battle damage on outfits, so.......it might be possible to add blood on shirts and pants(?) Anything with lighter colors.

 

I'll have to use a nude mod to see exactly where all the blood and mud is going to.
