Well when i read this just now i got pissed so u may see a little caps.

First "the mod orginal author is still active and a good member" WTF!? are you kidding u cnt even pm him anymore on nexus due to max inbox. And the last login date cleary states hes MIA. Woah woah nexus, i've stolen his work? If u JACK ASS PANSIES READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE U PLAY THE HAMMER GAME, its stated that if i somehow stolen it i would gladly take it down, and all of the hair meshes i converted started by scratch as u need to convert them blender anyone?

I also stated in the description that ren is not the author the mod was made for him. SK did it. Oh and at nexus sims2 crazy hair is floating around cuz the user is premnium.

Ah...Nexus...

I posted a image of my chara from OB4' date=' it was removed and I was warned = =;

When I question ed why, two different mod responded with different reason.

1. It contains Nudity

2. The character is not origional

The pic in question.

Contains nudity? Oh please nexus dnt make me laugh. Half of your sites images contains nudity hell estrus' mod author is a premnium member thats why he isnt getting banned oh wait did i said it contains tentacle rape.

Its not original? Hmmm they really ran out of words do they?

Guys i just posted a topic about estrus in Nexus' strike page. Lets see their explanation as to why it isn't getting removed.

Why the hell are you trying to get Estrus pulled!?

Because Nexus is run by cunts who will ban you for a little skin but allow full-on tentacle rape without comment. That is despite their rules stating that Rape in any form is an instant ban...

Link to comment

Keep in mind, image share and mods share are two different things, apparently with different rules. Don't ask me why they want to use two totally different standards but it's still a private site, just like this. They make the rules, you don't have to like them so long as you don't break them. It's obvious the picture should have been removed for nudity. Whoever gave the originality excuse should either learn to use smilies, or if they were serious they may want to consider getting a life of some sort.

Wow... did that Moderator really say it wasn't illegal under UK law?? He (or she) really needs to check up on that and quickly, since computer generated tentacle rape has been illegal in the UK since about 2007!

Hell, any kind of extreme porn has been illegal in the UK since 2009, and that includes anything that is not obviously consensual 2 person sex... bondage and all that shit is right out.

Put simply, Estrus is Illegal under UK law under at least 2 definitions... so Nexus is seriously breaking the law here.

Tregarin you awesome m*therf*cker :D

Don't know why... it's not like I posted on the thread where that idiot made that claim and corrected them on a few points. (I left that up to a friend of mine. :D )

Oh, and for those who think that asking about Estrus is going to help no-one, since it's fucking illegal and all that, if Nexus doesn't pull it, then Nexus itself could get pulled.

Sounds like a good reason to get Estrus pulled, if you ask me.

Still you pointed it out clearly :)

Good point :)

Oh dear... one mod doesn't even know which law is being referred to, and doesn't care to know. (wow! that's reassuring, isn't it? Staff that don't care if the site is breaking the law...:s) while another just goes by what others have said in the past.

Let's just ignore that the law changes, shall we??

You know... I'm in the UK... I wonder what would happen if they got reported for distributing illegal materials...? I could even point to my friends posts there as evidence that they know it's questionable at least, but are going to do nothing.

That would be evil of me though...

[/quote']I'm a big fan of the Cicero system on laws. In a rough translation he goes on about how "laws that govern all actions, serve no one." Sounds about right to me.

So I'm perfectly fine ignoring laws. Though in most countries they have the old 'ignorance of the law is no excuse' clause in the first 34 sections of their criminal code(s).

you have to love nexus, a bunch of oblivious power-tripping greedy morons.

they bitch about why people keep asking questions like they get. i dunno guys maybe it is because you enforce rules inconsistently and abuse your mod status?

it couldn't be that mods on nexus are overly greedy butthurt babies with stupid rules?

naahhh gotta be the "pirates".:s

I would not let it bother you.

If you have not noticed lately, Nexus is starting to look pretty shabby.. and they batter you with ad's with every down load. It is not what it use to be.

It is like pulling the proverbial hen's tooth trying to find a Mod there, and then piecing together the components of said mod can be sometime very disorienting.

I have seen many great mods slip from the public, and never be seen again (( One of my favorite, which I modded to my own taste's was sexlivion for Girl's)yet I watch another there, take that mod re dress it, and put it right back up with a different name..they actually they merged two mods together into the one package.), because of there prideful action's.

So Please cheer up..and look around, there are many great source's for mod's and they have nothing to do with Nexus.

Don't let it bother you too much, if you've been IP banned you can always connect via proxy. I usually refrain from posting/commenting unless it's to give the author praise and commendations or point out a bug they may have been missed. So i take a mostly stealth role.

Personally, i'd wholeheartedly approve if all the adult modding moved over here rather than the Nexus, as that would give some breathing room for the normal community ( you know, the ones who aren't totally perverse and make fun and cool mods likes manly weapons and armour/dungeon crawls ) I feel it would balance things out, and we can probably begin this little revolution simply by inviting the adult modders here or letting them know of our presence.

I think the over Sea's modders have very much embraced this forum, and in our translations we sometime improve, or add thing's that I believe help them with there mod..

I have learned a great deal from people all over the world here, and It is very nice here to not feel so constrained in what we make, and how we mod.

I have never posted a mod at Nexus, and I never would, even if they would allow it. They will mostly, pick apart what they want of your mod, and then pick you out of there Page..

Unless you become truly converted to there religion, and humble your self at there Knee's..LOL

I spent a lot of time crawling through 15 pages so for people not so patient, here's what I (humbly) consider a best of:

Nexus has become the Youtube of the Oblivion modding community.

My only regret posting this is Dante is too busy either getting pegged in the ass with a strapon by a 500 pound woman or torturing a little girl in his rape dungeon to read this.

Irregardless, you clearly did not take any notice of that bit about not antagonizing the poster. Posting your suspicions publicly is just plain inexcusable and now prevents me from being able to look into the matter very well even if this were the case.

So um yea...I don't even visit Nexus now and if I have to then I just sit quiet and don't write anything just to avoid ban.

It's funny, because "irregardless" is a contradiction. What he meant to say was "regardless". You see, when you put "ir" in front of it, it's a bit like a double-negative(like saying 'I didn't not do that").

Lol, he fails at grammar.

I suggest sending him the following:

^^ This is interesting... Why not try? It seems Estrus author joined or am I wrong? :D

We can even be so bold as to clearly tell that to Robin and see how they feel about it, it could be interesting... Btw Robin was always nice to me, don't know about you.

As a wise(guy) on a certain chan once said:

Lurk Moar

don't post there, just make an account and download your stuff without saying anything.

Truthfully though, its only a matter time before the ads and the mod facism kills them. The only reason nexus is even still around really is because

1. Inertia. It takes a while for big things like that to die.

2. Because there's really nothing out there on that scale to compete with them. Planet Elder Scrolls isn't much different (and that was before the stupid page style change.) and ironically enough got undersold by nexus early on because downloading anything there used to be an add filled, line-waiting pain in the ass. Ironically its easier to download stuff there than it is nexus now, but still.

What we really need is an open-source alternative to Nexus, with its scope and scale, but with slightly more lax rules (that actually encourage a person to post rather than just lurk without getting banned.) and none of this "waaaah you added a feature to my mod without my permission MODS PLZ BAN THIS GUI" mollycoddling (thats what I mean by open-source.)

What I mean by that is you say "oh, this clothes is nice but it should have a BBB version" so you make a BBB version. try this on nexus and you got a self-absorbed ratings/downloads whore whining and screaming and mods banning you because they can. In an open source modding enviornment (like this one) on the other hand its considered a worthy contribution in making the mod better.
