I can't seem to get the animations to work.

 

The mod shows up, I'm able to select viable creatures and reference the animation, but they're just kinda standing around and not doing anything. Where did I fuck up?

Okay, something's fucky...

 

This mod just hard bricks AAF for me. Like, I hit HOME, the tab pulls down, but when I hit ENTER to open the Scene tab, it does the loading spinny, and that's it.

 

One complete spin of the loading pip, and then nothing. Nada. Bupkiss. No error messages, no popups, just the loading spinny. It thought about it, and went, "Sorry boss, can't do that," and went the fuck home.

 

I've gone through my entire AAF list, and everything else works with any and every combination of mods enabled or disabled EXCEPT when this one's turned on. No matter where this is in the load order, it bricks AAF. Nothing involving scenes activates.

 

AAF Modlist:

 

AAF (plus the dependencies)

AAF Vanilla-Kinky-Creatures themes

CHAK Animation Pack (Plus Infatuation expansion)

Ultimate AAF Patch

AAF Sex 'Em Up

 

EDIT: After reinstalling AAF, V-K-C Themes, UAP, and SEU (from the exact same .zips as the first time), everything's working just fine. Fucking ghost gremlins, man.

anyone know how to fix Mr.Handy or any creatures animation that tends to loop itself on the first initiated animation? Even when I press PGDN to progress, the mr.handy or some creature entity won't do that animation and my character is the only one who's doing the progressed animation

That's a known issue with robot (and some animal) animations, as noted on the file page for Savage Cabbage's animation pack (that's the only one I'm aware of that adds animations for robots). If you check recent support comments for it, someone made a patch that just strings all the stages together into one big animation as a workaround.

Not sure if anyone can help me out here. I have this mod installed along with AAF and SEU. Animations for humans seem to work in every case but animations for creatures give me errors. Things like violate aborted, or sceneinit (1). What am I missing?

This is most likely a patch conflict. It loads fine for me. You might try removing all animation patches in your mod manager and see if the problem persists, then re-add them one at a time.

The actual errors and more information on which animals you're surrendering to would help narrow down the cause. This is probably also going to be easier to troubleshoot if you ask in Violate's support topic, or the help channels of the AAF Discord.

Did you upgrade the game? That's going to break MCM at the moment, it hasn't been updated to work with the latest version of Fallout 4.

Was there ever a fix for super mutants not becoming erect during scenes? been getting by on a nif where they're always erect but the constant boner popping out the armor is kinda immersion breaking for me

Really? Because I'm using the skeleton that comes with Creature Resources (same as the one in UAP from what I understand), and my super mutants almost always get erect. Sometimes outdoors one ends up flaccid in a scene, but not often.

 

Supposedly the underlying issue is that LooksMenu's BodyGen API doesn't always apply morphs successfully, but there are some morphing related fixes hinted in the LooksMenu 1.7.0 beta test changelog, so fingers crossed it addresses that for good.

Yeah I was messing around with creature resources to see if i could find the problem and what I noticed is during scene transitions I got the super mutant to be erect (sometimes) and fixing it required switching between scenes frequently which is bizarre but id rather do that than have them perma erect :(

Are there any animations in this or another pack that include penetration from Yao Gui, Molerats, FEV Hounds? Am I experiencing a bug where it is stuck on the first stage? All I seem to get is tongue animations, no peen, though I have seen a peen on one FEV hound, but not the others.

No, that's basically it. Savage Cabbage's pack has some more FEV hound positions too with more penetration.

 

The staging is manual (use AAF's hotkeys to advance to another valid position for the actors in the current scene), if that's what you mean by "stuck" though there may be some patches which add staged versions and hide the unstaged separate positions, I'm not sure.

Thanks for the info. I read in here or on the mod page that there was an intermittent issue with animations not advancing, I do get the partial standup sometimes, but they seem to advance, just not to anything more than tongue. I will just roleplay that the overlay is saliva instead of baby goo, 🤪. I guess I must have seen the peen on the FEV Hound with SC's animations.

 

Sad that this game is so neglected compared to Skyrim, not that the mod authors are neglecting it on purpose, just not that much interest in comparison. The mods we have are well done, just not a lot of dev going on.

I have this mod installed and it works in that the animations play.  However, when in a scene with a Deathclaw my character barely made a sound.  You'd think she'd be screaming the house down! 

 

I have the voice pack installed but also have other packs for various AAF mods installed, too.  Could it be one of those is interfering?

These creatures packs used to work in Violate even for companions but for some reason the last year or so I cant get AAF Violate to let me surrender to even super mutants or ghouls.

don't know if i'll get a reply here but.... Every creature works and looks great except feral ghouls. the ferals always have clothes on and the "newly feraled ghouls" from the unique creatures mod always have underwear on. is my load order possibly the issue or compatibility with "unique creatures"? only ferals are affected and i don't have any other mods that should directly affect them.

That mod is probably giving you issues.

In the XML file for the animation, change the gender from F to M. Then the animation will be available for males (although it may be a bit odd depending on what animation you try because like...dudes don't have vaginas).
