Hey, I crash when I pick up a comic from this mod from a locked safe. Well, I assume that it's this mod because it's an MLP magazine, but yeah. I'll post my load order.

It's because the game kinda gets overloaded when you are looking inside an inventory and take such a large book out of it. You have to close your inventory screen and take out the comic by just hovering your cursor over it.

I never knew this mod existed until now, amazing mod to have! I usually just hover over instead of using the full inventory selection, I also save often before picking stuff up. I'm also glad you mentioned the crash though in description, at least I know now not to do that or it'll CTD. Giving this a like for sure and follow.

Would it be possible to make the furry stuff optional? Like a choice in the installer?

It's nearly half of the comics and I really don't like it, sorry.

What I did for now is I took this mod and edited out all these My Little Pony and Pokemon parody comics and all the other furry ones. The drawback is that there is no rhyme or rhythm to what gets replaced with what and the original Real Comics that resurface are now incomplete for the most part.

I could do that but it would take me some time. I'll see if I can do anything like that. But like you said, about half of this mod are overrides of Real Comics, if I disable all the furry stuff, you will start finding random Real Comics, and probably not even the whole series.

Well ... it took me a whole lot less time than expected, I haven't fully tested it but here's something I quickly improvised.

nexus mod because thats what it is overwriting, I didn't make this mod from scratch.

Base files is just the biggest chunk of textures (in a ba2) so I don't have to upload the entire mod every time I update it.

Latest version (or merge with content) is just the newest stuff I added with updated esp.

Weird thing. I have installed the Nexus Mod, installed this LL base file and the update file. I find the magazines ingame put them in my inventory. but when i try to read them i get a CTD. I know you have a thing about how to pick them up from containers to avoid a CTD but i have picked them up fine. just cane seem to read any. I can inspect a comic ( ie. shows it on mys screen and i can rotate it) but the moment i click READ i CTD.

 

Where have i gone wrong please?

I don't know how strong your pc is but my game freezes for a sec when loading the comic. Maybe your hardware isn't strong enough or something? I don't know what can cause this problem.

i have a RTX2080 Nvidia card and 2TB of RAM. Its a kick ass gaming PC.

 

I have ran LOOT and Edit and no detected or listed issues. 

However i removed your mod and reinstalled the vanilla Nexus version . That also crashes. So its definitely not your / this LL mod. Its something my game has an issue. Nothing else crashes the game except trying to read one of the comic replacers. So strange. Not to worry too much. I can play without it, but had wanted to enjoy reading them. Its very likely something my own setup and PC is weirding out with. Your mod is not the cause. :)

Base files includes everything, so you don't need the files of the previous versions anymore.

 

EDIT: Everything that appears when you press the download button is needed. I remove the links of the stuff you don't need anymore. So if only base files are listed, thats all you need for now. Maybe thats an easy way to remember.

Hi,

 

 

I really  like your Mod but  since V1.37, it seems that I only find magazines from "real comics" mod.

 

I downloaded again the "base file" of your mod and the update. I use MO2 and my load order is

 

1 "Real Comics"

2 your mod, with the inhibitor ESP at the end.

3- Bashed patch (but it also not work without it)

 

I have no clue why it is not working... Do you have an idea about what I am doing wrong ?

I mod was working good in the previous version.  

 

 

EDIT: Okay, I am a dumb. I installed the update instead of base mod... Sorry for the inconvenience and a BIG Thank you again for your mod.
