this might not get read since i think this is now an inactive mod, but i wanna say a huge THANK YOU!

i've been after a mod that allows the player to be executed for so long, i'd actually given up hope finding such a mod,

so THANK YOU!

I wonder if the creator of this mod would come back and give us an updated version of this mod, or someone would take and continue working on it. I want to see more contents of this mod.

I am using Bad Ends with SSE right now. Has some glitches, but it is working. If someone adopts this, please add to the MCM menu the ability to lengthen hang time, for all three parts: neck stretch, the dangle, and the final hang. Note that the final hang can leave the player character extra time to sweat in the stocks waiting their own turn.

If you open up the times when the trigger can happen (via the MCM), then you can have the event trigger essentially on command. It has issues working in some cities though, where the characters sometimes stop moving after moving between cells.

 

For having it happen to the player, I'll switch the "chance player is chosen" to 100% and do some stealing of things to get sent to jail. The event should start with a "You hear a crowd gathering somewhere" (or something similar !)

It does have follower support, although it's a bit buggy. Whenever I get jailed I end up with a forced orc follower named Tsirol or something likat that. If you want to see the follower support working just set the aacjailed parameter to 1 and walk (walk in without getting arrested) into any supported prison with a follower. It should work then.

Still doesn't work for me.  Must be a mod conflict as it used to work for in the past.

For me it works like 90% of the time if I use this workaround. The other 10% they just take my follower away and leave me stuck in the cell with player controls disabled. So yeah, it can be pretty random I guess.

Same with me, I tried many times, the guards picks me but my follower (who is in jail with me) doesn't come with me.

Haven't found the culprit yet.
It worked for me in the past though, before I re-installed my Skyrim

Sooo... I tried doing this, but ended up having the same problem regardless.  Got all fired up to see the PC's execution, but the instant that Skyrim had to generate a disembodied PC head, *boom* CTD.  Are there any other mods that would create this issue?

Any mods that puts face overlay on PC will cause CTD if player get decapitated (Example : Blush when aroused)

But as long as you put bEnableFaceOverlays=0 ; Default[0] in the ini file it'll be okay

If you're using MO2 it'll be inside the MO base folder\...\mods\RaceMenu\SKSE\plugins\nioverride.ini

If you have slavetats try disabling it first then see if the ctd still happen

If it's not working too then I have no idea

If i spawn a NPC (a follower by exemple), it will be triggered for execution too ?

What are the conditions ? (prisoner faction, keyword) ? I remarked the cidhna npcs linked to forsworn quest are not took in count.

 

It seems npcs with names can't be triggered by the mod...

I don't know how it works, but when I had MOD Thief installed, the guards led the executioner to execute him :classic_biggrin:

In the past, I was using a follower mod with names (OK_Custom Voice Followers).

The condition is you use Prison Overhaul Patched (POP) to make your follower arrested with you if you do crimes.

Then there'll be a scene where you are chained waiting for your follower to be executed first.

However, I re-installed my Skyrim but now it's not working anymore for my custom followers (with new version of POP, tried some of the old ver too)

I wonder if there is some conflict with other mods I used. Haven't tested on clean install with just POP + Bad Ends Execution though

By the way, how works the justice system in skyrim in terms of scripts ?

 

My idea is to sent player to death, but only if the bounty is hight enough (not execution for killing a chicken !).

Prison overhaul don't workk too. It cannot detect the followers !

 

Followers mods are not supported ?

I have no scripting experience, but I think this mod just randomly picks prisoner inside prison cell regardless of your bounty

 

I tried the newest POP and somehow my custom follower is not detected, try older ver (somehow older ver can detect my follower mod)
