Crashing when entering combat

hi guys so i have a problem.

 

first it started of with i tried to make a new start and when your head is about the get cut off and the dragon langs on the building and roars my game crashes

i didnt think to much about it so just made a new game with alternative start and decited to skip that intro part but then

when ever i enter a fight as in before my weapon hits the enemy or when the enemy starts to turn to attack me/going in combat with me or when the combat music is about to start then my game just crashes right away

i have run LOOT, FNIS user and run TES5Edit

The fact that I didn't see it doesn't prove anything but do you have the latest version of XPMSE? The one that has 115 bones for male and female (can be confirmed when you run FNIS.

just guesses:

> as Psalam said and check if you didnt overwrite your skeleton

> if you run FNIS and use TKdoge, dont forget to tick the patch for it

> if you install TKdoge dont overwrite FNIS files (not sure it that has an effect, but i use TKdoge and it works, not overwriting FNIS)

> check if all other Patches are ticked in FNIS if you are on it (skeleton fix)

 

(if nothing help, create a papyrus log, ppl might be able to help you than)

 

do you get a T-Pose for a short moment if you enter battle or change weapons while running?

yes i have the latest version of XPMSE i also have the FNIS XXL version but does that have anything to do with it?

i installed all skeleton mods/plugins and animation files before i installed FNIS and then ran FNIS as the last thing before running the game and such

plus when i installed FNIS i made sure that it overwrited all other plugins

    Maybe, but unlikely. Fore says that XXL version is glitchy (on his modpage), so it is possible. It is equally true that most people can run their animations just as well on the regular FNIS as on XXL. If you want an educated opinion about whether you really need XXL I would need to know the number of animations you have (available when you run FNIS).

  • What Donttouchmethere also suggested is also prudent. The fact that it seems to be a problem unique to combat animation does make me think of a skeleton/animation problem. However, there is no guarantee that that is what the problem is.

thats the end resault on FNIS XXL user

 

lets say its a animation or skeleton problem then what mod/plugin would it be that is causing the problem

and is combat animation then also what mod/plugin would it be

atm it just a focus on CTD during fight, things that cause that on my setup was:

> TKdoge not patched/overwritten FNIS or old version

> monsters with incompatible, bugged or overwritten custom skeletons

> forgot to tick FNIS patches

> ticked the wrong FNIS patches

> overwrote my skeleton

> too many animations installed and loading times for animations got so high that i got T-pose before the fight or freeze

> wrong skyrim ini settings

> incomatible combat mods without proper patches

> monster mods with missing patches

 

but other things can produce issues like that too

> too high script count => use crash fix

> you use immersive arousal, is it compatible with newest sexlab arousal?

> memory patch not used or no SKSE.ini

> broken script in save game, use slavecleaner tool or resaver to check your saves for those (would be bad if you have that early in game bugs like that)

 

and if mods arent loaded right into the game

> no save/reload in lal => mods might not be loaded right (estrus+ & friends need at least one reload, after starting sexlab or installing animations via SLAL its good to reload too)

 

you could make a papyrus log too and check what mods throw errors at you

Not so fast, sheriff! Tell me that it's a typo (1603 animations for 14 mods; I have fewer mods and about 9k animations)!

I would suggest that if it is a typo then you simply have too many animations (with all the other mods that you have). Change to FNIS plain and reduce your total number of animations below 12k (or better 10k, as I have done). This is simply an issue of quantity. You are asking poor Bugthesda's engine to do far more than what it was designed for.

If it is NOT a typo then you are having a serious problem getting FNIS to even recognize your animations. I would either reload FNIS XXl or replace with plain FNIS. I would also reload all my animation packs.

 

Donttouchmethere has great advice and beat me to the punch. I'm going to bow out and come back only if you guys hit a stone wall.

- PC Exclusive Animation Mod 3.2 [Require Custom Races]
- Behavior files [required - packed in the file]
- Skeleton file [MAXIMUM skeleton - only female]

there are no huge SLAL packs installed and no MNC, no DD, no ZAZ => low animation count

atm it looks like that on my setup

i already have crashfix instelled

yes immersive arousal is compatible with sexlab arousal because i have used them together before where there wasnt any problems

i do not have the skse.ini not sure why

would be wierd if the game is broken when i more or less just made it and every time i remove or install a new mod i make sure to make a new game so i know its loaded probaly

 

how do i make a papyrus log? then i would make is and share it with you guys so i can get further in my problem

alright i have the feeling we getting somewhere

 

most important!

your are missing  those files (that might explain the combat issues if missing animation get loaded):

>Install Creature Pack V6_1 (optional, necessary for creature animations) => for example, estrus needs that, sexlab creatures feature needs it too

>Install FNIS Idle Spells V5_0_1 (optional, necessary for the spells) => any new spell/idle(?) animation needs that

they are from the nexus FNIS download page

 

 

after that:

Reading zzEstrus V2.20 => not compatible with LL Estrus+ and estrus spider (guess you just get broken animations)

EstrusChaurus.esp=1

EstrusSpider.esp=1

 

exchange zzEstrus v2.20 with a version same/lower than 1.60 to use with estrus+/spider (you dont need to activate the zzestrus.esp if you use estrus+)

or

only use zzEstrus v2.2 without estrus+/spider

well that depends what FNIS sexy move actualy installs

to be honest i never got it running without issues, but thats long ago

would need to test it myself again to see what is needed

i am confused, are you using skyrim LE or SE?

nah, looks like LE from TESVedit

means you dont need: Patch: "HKX File Compatibility Check Skyrim/SSE"

for a papyrus log you need to activate following lines in

skyrim.ini

bEnableLogging=0                 => 1
bEnableTrace=0                      => 1
bLoadDebugInformation=0    => 1

 

its resource hungry, just use for debug/create log than set them back to 0

looks good to me

 

Missing AnimFile ..\KuNeruNomu\KNNWashBodyStanding.hkx for character, mod Bathing in Skyrim

=> can be ignored, but dont change the washing animations to something else than default

 

but if you want the REAL bathing fun you get those missing animations from here:

download and install only the optional file:

Animations Package

 

EDIT: about zzEstrus

if you check the old files you see ..err... old versions of zzestrus

v160r was the newest that still works without animation bugs with estrus+/spider/dwemer

 

still you can use the newest version of zzestrus as standalone

oh i forgot to mention and i dont know if its even relevant but right after i hit r in the racemenu i then press yes to that i'm done and then i write the chars name after that the game is so called started but i then get a lookup fail where the button to continue is hidded/invis and then one more of the exact same comes up again and then i can play the game with no problems beside the combat :D

with NMM the

                      papyrus.0.log

ends up in %user%/mygames/skyrim/logs

 

might be another place on your setup, just search with your file explorer for

                      papyrus*.log

the only thing i can see from that file is omg thats freaking alot of text and confusing :S
