isupernoob Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Hey all, just did a fresh install and decided to mod the game to hell right off the bat. I'm getting CTDs when I click on new game. It'll go to the loading screen and then nothing. Here's the Papyrus.0.log and loadorder.txt. Any help tracking down this issue would be greatly appreciated since I'm at a total loss and have been at this for hours now. Thanks! EDIT: new links to logs.
Newbie2015 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Hi. Usually it happens when some mod missing its requirements (other mods). Try to use mod organizer for example (in right panel you will see red triangle near mod if it missing something), to check for missing mods. And on both links i have error 404.

Psalam Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Some other helpful hints: 1. Run LOOT (Google it, download it and run it if you don't have it). 2. Move XPMSE to the end of your load order - or at least near the end (manually if necessary). 3. Move More Nasty Critters BEFORE SexLab Animation Loader (manually if necessary).
Grey Cloud Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 1. Read about modding Skyrim. 2. Read about the mods you are installing. 3. Read how to post things in the forum. As has already been said: Use LOOT. 1. I notice you are using Tropical Skyrim. This mod puts a lot of strain on your resources. There are two other mods which will help but I don't know their names. You might also want to get rid of the tropical birds as they are a major resource hog. 2. You are using an old version of MNC. Remove and install the latest version. 3. You don't need Realistic Ragdolls as XPMSE skeleton does the ragdolling. (Where do people keep getting this old version from?) 4. Few people use either Floppy SOS or UFO.

(Where do people keep getting this old version from?) Most of the guides around link both xpmse and ragdolls, or at least the last time I paid any attention to them they did anyway. Though reading the xpmse nexus page clearly states that ragdoll is part of it and has been for quite some time.

Since you have all 3 DLC's, you should use USLEEP. It fixes many logic flaws in quest scripts and more. It does not matter if you use SOS or SOS-Light (I've had a better experience with SOS): Reinstall XPMSE again and run FNIS for Users. You can copy the content of the output from FNIS and upload it here. Maybe there are already problems at this point. Tropical Skyrim is not a pure flora overhaul - it also replaces animals and creatures. I am not sure if your creatures mods (including MNC) are compatible with Tropical Skyrim - I have never used this combination.

I don't know quite what happened but the part in brackets about the 'old version' was suposed to be after the MNC line, i.e. where do people keep getting the old version of MNC from. 15 hours ago, Andy14 said: Tropical Skyrim is not a pure flora overhaul - it also replaces animals and creatures. It's been a while since I used it but I think it adds rather than replaces animals etc. Certainly the tropical birds are added. Either way MNC is (was) compatible. I may be wrong as it has been a while.
isupernoob Posted August 23, 2018 Author Posted August 23, 2018 Hi all! I figured I should do an update since I was able to get it working. It turns out that All-in-One SMP does not play well with MO2. I needed to move all of the dll's from the mod file in MO2 to skse folder in the skyrim install directory. After I did that, everything worked perfectly. Thanks for all of the suggestions, I'm sure some of them even solved future problems!

That is a bit odd, I do know you had to do that some time ago with mo2, but it was fixed as far as I was aware a couple of versions back, just out of curiosity which version of mo2 are you using? Also which files did you move?, as I am getting random ctd while in the wilderness and it always happens when near npc's, so it may sort out some of my problems as well.

If you have them in both folders you'll still get the CTDs.
