hhh7773 Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 Yeah, given the nature of the two bodies, my preference for sheer visuals would definitely be the first, but given I'm not particularly playing this mod for sexual purposes (too much) at the current moment, I think the features you'd get, and the ease of use from simply sticking to the QB body would likely be a better choice overall. Besides, it does fit the theme a bit better than the first as well admittedly, since with the QB body you actually get that warrior woman vibe as compared to the first mostly just making things about those lovely curves. Either choice, definitely look forward to seeing what this merge brings overall to the game, since I've never actually heard of the Queens Blade mod till now, combat strip does sound like a neat feature to have, especially if things are added on to it in the future for more sexual related shenanigans down the line!
Whizkid Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 playing as soldier in a lord's army when lord is defeated, quest remains after you are captured and it remains forever in your quest log, imo the quest should either terminate after defeat or forces you to try and rejoin your lord or it fails and terminates, in addition when you apply for leave, quest does not terminate or end when you rejoin your lord, it just fails after 2 weeks is up. p/s: there should also be a check or timer on when you can quit or re-join a lord as soldier, because it is easy to abuse the system for free gear, just join a lord sell gear and re-join lord get a new set of gear, doing this when you have reached max promotion is quite profitable lol lastly, landlords and money lender system, can this be auto credit/debit rather than having to visit town to this to activate? and the consequences for defaulting in payment should be harsh, losing influence with that town is just meh, imo the town should send debt collectors or sell you or your companions into slavery/force conscription into army etc.. to pay off debt... omg. another thing can we disable companions from complaining about leaving, its pretty annoying to get them to keep asking to leave so frequently even after you have threaten them...

Hadn't even thought of what happens to Freelancer when you get defeated. The defeat scene actually breaks it pretty good. Making the fix now, and I'll throw in the freelancer timer and increase the punishment on the moneylender system for good measure. Actually right now if you get your debt to 100,000 the faction leader will have to step in and halt it - and you loose relation with the faction. It should be a bit more harsh for that kind of debt anyways imo. Edit: OK so using 1.51 version of Freelancer, it just doesn't have any system at all in place to handle capture. What.

What. its easier to just fail or abandon the quest, makes sense dont u think as contracts will be broken if defeated lol, same for when u apply for leave, quest just lingers but will end when weeks is up heh.
SexDwarf2250 Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 How feasible would it be to use the QB body for combatants but use the current DP body as an outfit to add to some scene-only NPCs, like barmaids, prostitutes, dancers, servants, slaves, etc, that won't ever wear armor? Oh, while you guys are talking about Freelancer: You can join a lord's army, then immediately retire from service for +20 relation, join up again, repeat, have 100 relation with him in like 1 minute. Not high priority stuff since I expect people can just not choose to exploit the system, but hey, just tossing it out in case we're already elbow-deep in there with sleeves rolled up... If it tracks battles or days, maybe the simplest fix would be an if check to skip those bonuses for immediate dropouts, say if you haven't at least fought once with the lord. I doubt it matters, but my background was nobleman, male.

Obvious solution is switch to the Floris Expanded variant, and I will likely do the same and upgrade TPE (again... ugh). Problem is though, if I do that current saves are going to get destroyed. So... For now, I'll just do the simplest little tweak to the capture and not worry about exploits as that would be wasted time. 1.4 will have the new versions. I've really been wanting to get into some of the planned 1.4 stuff this past week, but unfortunately it's just been merging more mods in and bugfixing. Which is nice, but it doesn't feel as productive. Just getting up to speed with the other modern modpacks really, not doing anything new. Edit: As for QB that's just where we are right now. Code-wise it's ok, but again I need to either change skins or modify the armor meshes for it to look right. The invisible calves thing is avoidable by just not wearing two specific sets of boots, so for now I just disabled them from being stocked in shops. I do have a placeholder texture patch for a single tattoo if you really want the absolute latest stuff I've got though: female_b_nor.dds tattoo_amazon.dds

But i really prefer the body from this mod, so i would also prefer if the armors were modified. Also have you guys ever considered adding lewd banners to this mod? Im using a mod called hentai banners which i enjoy very much, coupled with this mod, and i think it would be easy to add.

To really get the most out of boats, you need to base your game around them a little. My tips for anyone trying them: Boat combat works well for Nord infantry. You close to melee distance immediately, but are held at a good distance for throwing. Due to location (river/coast) and unit strengths (infantry/cav), I would suggest boats for faction areas roughly in this order: Nord, Vaegir, Rhodok, Swadian, Sarranid, Khergit. Seriously, forget about boats as a Khergit lord. Consider using boats for long trips during war. Boat speed is crazy high, I've done 17 speed with 130 infantry. Also, dealing with sea raiders is much easier than a hostile nation's armies. Boats can travel all the way up rivers. To do this, first navigate next to the first bridge. Then, move directly across the bridge. Next, move to the next bridge and repeat. This is quite safe, since land armies can't attack you on the boat, and I haven't seen any pirates on rivers. You can ambush enemy armies like this. To do this, find a bridge that is a bottleneck for routes, Ismirala Castle bridge for example is ideal. Disembark when an enemy lord is right next to the bridge and you, and you can often times catch smaller armies that would be impossible to overtake, once you get the hang of it. Being unable to embark can always (eventually) be solved by going to the camp menu and back once more. Moving a short bit on the map can help if that does not. Disembarking from the camp menu works better next to large cliffs than clicking onto land. Random bonus: Have an authentic ancient Nord pirating song. (Roughly summarized: "All that wish to plunder with us / All that love met and women / All that do not fear death nor devil / all that sail with us into hell / they must be men with beards / Jan and Hein and Klas and Pit / they have beards / they sail with us!")

DP has all the vanilla banners. That said, I appreciate some nice hentai, but asian style nudie cartoons on noble banners is too jarring for me. Edit: Oh, the waves in my ocean seem to be... silhouettes of cows. Did I do something wrong?

The theme of the mod is meant to be realistic to at least an extent. Also, backlog due to adding Queens Blade stuff is a big issue right now. >_< I am trying to make all of the meshes fit the bodies.

(I tried my hand at models and meshes once in another game's mods and it was so damn frustrating. I think everyone will be cool with it if the mod adopts another body with less huge tits and ass. Abs can easily be softened. The last thing we want is for modders to get frustrated or burn out - WB lewd mods are so rare this is a gem.)

Captives from naval combat are massive, ie 100%. Slaving on the high seas will make you filthy, stinking rich if you have it specced high.
