Also normally you'll want to tick off old versions of mods so they won't even try to overwrite. I don't have the old one installed even, still MO would handle overwriting so well it's not worth worrying about. You can just re-arrange mods in the install list to determine their overwrite order.

 

Edit: It seems about half of all items are invisible in menus and worn.

 

And while EDI suit worked, the Devious Body Alteration removed it (because of altered feet). Might be missing zad_DeviousBoots or something like that keyword if it's a suit that covers all slots.

They all work fine for me. Something must be wrong on your end.

 

As for the EDI suit, it is definitely missing the zad_DeviousBoots keyword.

I may have to add them (and the other missing keywords) in the next update.

I've seen no problems on my end. Meshes work out, and no problems with the .esp file.

Still stays invisible on my end, maybe odd conflict. ?‍♂️

What I checked:

> can't see any conflicts in TEV5edit (esp doesn't even show up after applying filter for conflicts)

> zip folders look okay, all folders and files at the right spot

> I don't know enough about textures to say anything about that

> no connections to bashed patch

> Using DT3 if that could have any effect. ?

Some do work now, but i see the keyword thing is postponed. It's fine though i disabled DBA in MCM for the time of testing.

 

I tried all of them this time, the list of invisible items is:

Also this fit really well with my dai-katana ;)

But i think all the suits will need keywords and maybe even scripts that all those matching items have, to actually be fully DD-functional. I tried quickly to add the boots keyword to 1 of the suit items in TES5Edit but DBA still removed the suit, so it would need to be looked into in a bit more detail if it wanted to be fixed. Things like other mods seeing that you are wearing gloves need keywords, Devious Followers is 1 of those that track rules of worn items and many other mods.

 

Full suit is: Hood, Suit, Boots, Gloves, .. and i hope i didn't miss any.

 

Edit: I checked source code of DBA and it really only checks keyword. Must have been some error i made or the item wasn't refreshed in my save.. or whatever. It should work in theory.

I should have edited the "rendered" item, not "inventory"...

Hi! I'm wondering, is cursed-loot-like-mechanic of item drop is still... Wanted? I can try and implement it, but as integrated script into this mod (Still, I don't know how to make it to interact from outside of this esp with it items). And, maybe, as I can see, it will be easy to add new items with this script, because it will operate with FormList, and what will you need to do in future is just drag and drop new item into this list in CK, theoretically. So, is it good for you? :D

I am interested, but I haven't gotten around to doing it.

 

My major goal was the overhaul, and now that it's done, I'm taking a quick break from it all, while I search for new content.

 

As to you giving it a try to implement it, go right ahead. I'd like to see what you can come up with.

Here, Data.zip, is the pre-release-debug version. Inside is patched .esp and script files. It has MCM, by the way. I'm going to implement a little more compatibility and some fixes/cleaning after I'll get some sleep. I hope form some feedback and, maybe, questions. Aaand I don't know how it will work on different machines... So... Heh.

 

And how @Zaflis mentioned, there is a bunch of missing files.

Can you please give me a rundown on which files are missing? That way I can rectify the problem.

 

EDIT: Just gave the file a whirl, and it is awesome!

I think it does need a dialogue box saying something along the lines of "You open the chest/container/etc and find a strange mask inside. Curious, you decide to put it on, only to realize that you cannot take it off without a key!"

 

I'm starting to get some ideas from this!

Here the updated version, made some visual tweaks and MCM tweaks Data.zip

- Added support for zad_DeviousGloves and zad_DeviousBoots

- Added integration of MLP addon (MLP .esp file was patched to do so)

- Added, theoretical, MCM support for displaying big number of items

- Added dialogue box and fade out/it on event

A an idea stroke me... And I made a thing and now you can equip items through MCM. If updating from previous version - clean save required.

I've added the missing files into the folder, and I'm looking into the incorrect renders.

 

When I'm done, I'll reupload the file.

 

As for your file, I'll have a look at it after reuploading, and then see what can be done to implement these new features of yours. I'm really liking these ideas!

 

EDIT: There are no problems on my end with the rendered files. I'll still replace the .esp file in the folder with mine regardless.

 

EDIT 2: The idea you had didn't exactly work.

The menu worked properly, but when I tried to equip from the menu, I got a weird set of numbers in a popup, then another box saying it wasn't equipped. There was also nothing in my inventory either.

I had a chastity belt on with a vaginal plug, so I guess it makes sense for it to not equip.

 

As for the files, everything's fine on my end, so you may want to reinstall it MANUALLY.

 

If that still doesn't work, then all I can do is suggest that you download each and every missing meshes from the original creators and replace the files with those ones.

 

As for the Tali armor pieces, well, I'm not sure about what to do with it. I may just erase them permenantly if they keep causing trouble.

Hey man, long time to see, hehe.

 

Just dropping by to say some items are invisible on my end as well. But that's easy to fix:

Just download NifSkope and change the Body Part partition to what it's set on the Creation Kit. Make sure to do this with every NiTriShape.

After I did this the Tali boots started showing up on my game as normal.

 

Oh, and btw, the "Miku" texture folder is over 2GBs. In my opinion it's not worth it to have a Hatsune Miku mask if its textures take up that much space. And it would be much faster to download the mod if that folder wasn't included. I was able to get all the textures of the entire mod from a combined total of 933MB (not including the Miku folder) down to 440MB after running them all through DDSopt. If you want I can sent them over somehow.

 

And yet another thing, I've been working on an expansion based on this mod. I'm thinking of posting it as a separate mod of my own but requiring models from this one. What do you think?

Am I missing something or is Zaz still a requirement for 2.0? I don't see any mention of it on the main file page, but ESP lists "ZaZAnimationPack.esm" as a missing master. Yes, I downloaded from the bottom link, "Devious Rubber Masks Rebirth 2.0.zip"

ZaZ is still a requirement for my mod. I'm not removing it, and I have no plans to either.
