Quick update that Farengar's face fixed itself; Dragonsreach respawned subsequent to my last visit and I assume that's what fixed it.

f: leaving data unaccounted for

Note that SOS - Male Vanilla Armor is loading after The merged and Bashed patches, this is on purpose.

The SOS plugin now has all the valid keywords and other values in correct form and all in one spot.

 

The other plugins follow in sequence:

SOS DLC2

You will have ArchMage armor and Arch-Mage Armor.

Stahlrim Armor is now Stahlrim Heavy Armor.

There several references left in for Ground Objects (Go.nif) that reference Odrim/LE - paths are shown as uskp/wherever or usleep/wherever in Update.esm and USSEP

The files I uploaded reference folder structure for files in the archives. And work?!

 

It was a fair amount of work, but I have lotsa free time, Covid you know . . .

Those files at least dont break anything and what I saw so far looked good! But everyone has the brown underpants! Is that W.I.P or what is wrong on my side? I saw in the SOS MCM that the revealing keyword is built in though...

Not  a W.I.P.

Since May 5th, between 80 and a hundred downloads per file with no one reporting brown underwear issue til now.

 

I think that the issue is in your installation/configuration.

As for the brown underwear issue, the support threads for SOS LE & SE have more information.

Well... it's in the stack. Maybe yes? I think there was a version in one of the other skimpy mods but I may have modified it.

yeah, that should be... skimpier. Do you have the stack as listed in the OP? Cuz it's probably provided by one of the others, not mine.

I've tried reinstalling every revealing clothing mod (not SOS SE itself) except for sos dawnguard male armor and it's still the same. Although I notice that the area near his belt is now see through.

I'm using the version from judge007 in this thread as well since he said he fixed most of the issue with keyword and didn't change any texture or meshes.

 

Update: I did an additional installation of Skyrim LE and load up all the mods I'm using but in LE version and the vampire robe was still very modest.

Ugh, I'd forgotten that he did that big fix. I'll have to walk through it and incorporate everything. I suppose it might be that patch which broke these armors, dunno. Will check.

It's a bit of a mess, tbh. I looked at judge007's work but that was for SE and was dealing with a bunch of SE-specific keywords and I prefer to do things in LE then transfer over. Then I looked at the LE mod and it's mostly fine except nearly all the enchanted armor and a fair number of variants are missing the "revealing" keyword, because it requires creating an override and a lot of the changes are just in the textures or nifs and don't otherwise require any changes in the ESP. I extracted all the armors to a spreadsheet so I could find all the ones missing the keyword and found a very few--half a dozen or so--that hadn't been skimpified at all. 

 

So I went through and made overrides for all the skimpy body armors to give them the revealing KW. Upside is that you won't have to set it by hand every time you meet a new NPC. Downside is that there are a lot of armor mods out there, and doing this introduces a lot of incompatibilities, which means a lot of patches to make things work together.

 

I got that one set of vampire clothes fixed. I'll probably deal with the few extra armors. Then convert to SE and recover the changes judge007 put in.

I decided to test the mods on a fresh character to see if the same problem with Farengar would occur, it did not.  This time his armor was revealing but not concealing.

I'm not sure which of the mods I installed is responsible for the Blue Mage robes, but it looks like it isn't removing them from the concealing armor list when applied to an existing save file.  I suspect this is also true for the Greybeard robes (and possibly others) but I didn't check the internal info on them.

 

On a different note, for some reason Farengar's face gen data was overwritten by the mods in both the pre-existing save, and the fresh new character I created.  He normally has white fur on his head like the rest of his body but now it's black.

How do you go about manually setting some armor as concealing or revealing?

Thanks! I figured out how to select an NPC and was able to make the change!

 

I think I have screwed up my game though. I tried to install some of the recommended  additional armors (SOS-Revealing armor) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36903

However, I neglected to convert it to SE like your tutorial said to and now, even after uninstalling and backing up to a save that didnt have either mod, armors of guards and others are no longer showing your updated skimpy version.

I noticed in the meshes\clothing\forswornarmor folder the 1st person files are "1stPersonThalmorRobesM_0.nif" and "1stPersonThalmorRobesM_1.nif". Guessing those should not be in there.
