AC does not provide a specific collar. Instead, it can use any item that can be equipped in the amulet, collar or chest slots.

Huzzah, thank you for helping me figure it out!  I added your collar keywords to Gatti's Belt Collars then distributed them to Bandits, Hunters, Vampires, and lowlevel armor wears with SPID.  Sharing in case someone wants it.  You need Gatti's assets but that's it.  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/78105.  A proper dog collar would be more appropriate but should be easy for someone to port should they want to.

 

I can't confirm that the collars work as intended with your keywords but female NPCs are wearing them so I imagine it should be fine.  Of course, this doesn't do much without a mod that adds non-hostile creatures into dungeons and such and remembering this, now I've made myself sad.  But at least it should help facilitate engagements where animals are readily  available when you're out exploring.

I forgot to ask, but is Farm Animals and Co. Extended Version, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17376, compatible with Aroused Creatures?  I had it installed once and had pigeons try to assault NPCs but the engagements all failed.  I presumed it was because they didn't have a compatible skeleton?  But I was surprised to find myself on the receiving end of some of Mihail's monsters as I would have thought they had a different skeleton too, but now I'm not sure.

It should work? AC will try to use anything with the ActorTypeCreature keyword, or without the ActorTypeNPC keyword. If they get rejected after that, then it will be because SexLab could not find any animations for them.

 

I suspect the Mihail monsters may be technically vanilla creatures with custom armor addons to change their appearance. So they might use a dog or deer SL aniamtions.

Yep, I was testing it just now.  Sorry, I should have tested before asking.  It works, but not too well.  The animations are misaligned somewhat, which is to be expected, but the cute little piglets are repurposed cows who grow to cow size during animations and are considerably less cute in that form.

There's no engagement chance option, but given the way that the system works, the results may be indistinguishable from RNG. The closest to this is the 50/50 Player/NPC preference, which will test the PC first or last in the list of available partners. The reason chance is not used as a mechanic is that it becomes meaningless in processes that are continuous: a 1% chance is certainty if tested often enough. So RNG is only used to smooth out imbalances, like the PC/NPC bias.

 

Automatic engagements can be set to always be non-consensual with the creature as aggressor, so NPCs will not go looking for creatures.

 

If there is a particular NPC you don't want automatically engaged, use the target select key [N] on them, then go to the Help page where they can be blocked for auto engagement (but still available for elective options through dialogue).

i'm having a problem where the animals aren't engaging the PC even if i turned on suitors & crouch to invite/allow.

most of the arousals are dipped to 0, stripped naked, PC arousal 100, & still no engagements when crouching

Check the Aroused Creatures MCM > Help page, which will indicate any issues with the installation or configuration. The page also lists recently failed engagements. Hover over a failure code to see an explanation and possible solution at the bottom of the display.

My motherboard died so I had to replace it and move my vortex mods onto a thumb drive and transfer my vortex mod files over to the new windows install. The mods, plugins, load orders all work fine but I can't seem to get creatures sex to start. Regular NPC's work but whenever I try to initiate sex with a creature it won't work. The creatures aren't idling or anything just won't start an animation. Spells won't work it just says spell fizzled off and failed. Also aroused creature is only detecting 2 creatures and none of the others. Can someone help me figure out how to fix this?

Looks like there are very few animations available. Make sure you have installed and registered some creature SLAL packs.

 

If you've already done this, then go to SexLab MCM > Rebuild & Clean and use the Clean System option. You'll need to reconfigure SexLab and re-register any SLAL packs afterwards.

I tried this and the game crashes after it finishes rebuilding.

This sounds like there is an issue with the SL installation. Perhaps too many animations installed? Are you using any SL patches?

 

Try in a new game and see if this is a problem with that save in particular.

So new game worked without an issue, but I noticed aroused creatures wasn't showing up in MCM. Does that mean aroused creatures is causing the issue?

The missing MCM is a known issue that has yet to be isolated. The only advice on this for now is to install/enable Aroused Creature after starting a new game. Obviously that's awkward in this case.

 

SL crashing on Rebuild & Clean is a new one, though. I've not encountered that before. I think we'd need to have a look at a papyrus log for a session that ends with this crash to know what's happening at that moment.

I actually got it to work I just re registered the animations through sexlab and it worked. Thanks for the help I appreciate it.

I'm getting MCM missing issue too. I could be wrong, but it seems to happen if there's another mod auto loading setting through papyrusutil.

Suspect mods that might be contributing to this have been MCM Helper, Menu Maid, MCM Recorder, NL MCM, anything that alters the behaviour of the MCM itself. But nothing has been confirmed.

 

Unfortunately, I've not been able to reproduce this bug in testing, which makes it very difficult to address. There are a couple of potential mitigations built into the latest version, but clearly these are not working - at least not for everyone.

 

As mentioned, the only advice I can offer for now is to only install Aroused Creatures after starting a new game.

Quick question is there any animations where you or a male npc doms a male creature. I gotten this mod not too long ago and only got mounted by a horse, bear, wolfs, and a werewolf. I only ask because I don't want to just get my cheeks clapped, I too want to clap some nice fuzzy booty.

Horny Creatures of Skyrim SE, linked in the description, provides some female creature animations.

 

Animation selection can be fine-tuned under Aroused Creatures MCM > Other Settings.

Is there CxC support on the latest version? OsmelMC's tweak is for a much older patch and I can't seem to find another workaround. Is there some other way, or will the old Tweak still work?

That would involve female animations applied to male creatures, which can be achieved through the mentioned animation selection options - essentially you are deciding which roll the human participant will take depending on the sex of the creature.

 

If this is for automated engagements, make sure that the appropriate gender options are selections. There is a separate section at the bottom of the NPC Auto Settings for male NPCs.

There's no creature-on-creature support. You'll need to use the OsmelMC patch with the appropriate version of Aroused Creatures. v4.06 is still available in the downloads.

Is there a way to disable the automatic engagement after you've ridden a horse? I tried turning off follower support and increasing my engagement timers but neither of those did anything.  I ride a horse and constantly mount/dismount but now my horse buddy wants a turn after each session too and he keeps raping me. >.<

 

On a side note, is there any way to enable this feature for npcs not engaged in combat?  Several followers summon horses to use and it would be interesting to see them getting pegged after a good ride =D
