I noticed that my conversion didn't really work today, here's a fixed version that is also updated to the newest 3BA version.

More conversions are available here, btw. (I recommend installing these with a lower priority)

3BA ZAZ GSBDoggieBelt Fixed v2.zip 8.84 MB · 3,520 downloads

I still get neck seam and a slightly blown up body with this version same as with the original ZAZ 2023 version. This is the only item from ZAZ and all other outfit mods I have to give me this issue.

Does it work for you guys?

I'm having a strange problem with zazanimation. When a character is in a bound animation, pressing the spacebar changes the animation to a milking machine. I have no idea what could be causing this problem. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

The Doggie Belt has a baked in reference body which is the source of these problems. The solution is to to make your own replacer for its meshes in Outfit Studio. You can find Vanilla -> 3BA and CBBE -> HIMBO conversion sliders out there to make it easier, and if you look up a tutorial on doing Squish in Outfit Studio that'll go over the technique to replicate the tight waist look. Unfortunately I don't know where I put my HIMBO shape data folder and my female one is for BHUNP so I can't just share my own conversions - sorry about that. But it's a good opportunity to learn how to use Outfit Studio to update or convert body types.

I just noticed the doggie belt problem then found your post.  I've used Bodyslide but I've never been able to understand Outfit Studio.  Would you be able to upload new bodyslide files for the belt without the reference body so we can use our own?

If there's anyone else who doesn't know how to use Outfit Studio, like myself, a quick workaround (not a fix) is to set each affected NPC's weight to 100.

How do I get the furniture items? Do I need both Zaz 7.0 and one of the animation packs or a command? I'm new to ZaZ stuff so I would like to have access to all the features please.

You need zaz 8+, it's the version compatible with most mods. Zaz itself is just a collection of bdsm devices, it doesn't do anything on its own. You need other mods to actually spawn these devices, like this one:

Here's a discussion about the doggie belt issue I had with the ever helpful Traison, but I still haven't been able to convert it properly: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/253943-outfit-color-different-indoors-vs-outdoors/#findComment-7091672

I have tried about three or four 3BA conversion files I found over they years, but none of them worked properly for me. I always get neck gap and slightly inflated body when equipping the doggie belt on NPC or PC. The doggie belt is the only outfit from all my numerous outfit mods which gives me this issue... Maybe it's something on my end.

I've tried 3 - 4 conversions myself that I've found around the forums and always had the same issue with any NPC who's weight is not already set to 100.

Yeah, seems to be the same issue I see.

I got the patch that fixed rabbit and chicken ragdolls, but I see that ZAZ doesn't carry over dawnguard and dragonborn changes. Is this intentional? For Eg:

Okay so i'm so confused.

I'm using SexLab P+

There's "ZAZ 7.0SE-Rev1.7z" in this files downloads should i be using that or the provided mega links "ZAZ 8.0+ CBBE HDT 2023"

In damsels of distress spoils of war mod description it says "Please get the correct version of Zaz. It's in the mega download. I didn't make the rules. Too many newbloods fall victim to this alone."

BUT

In SexLab P+ it says to use 7.0, isn't it lower version number than 8.0? Im so confused why is the versioning backwards.

Edit: ZaZ 8 in provided mega link is working just fine, i don't understand why the SE Compatibility tracking shows it as obsolete then or did i misunderstood?

The are handful of empty texture files in ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SE2023 for example Textures\ZaZ\018\nobleBedWood01_n.dds. They are all normal. Does anyone know if these files are used and/or where I can find intact replacements. I checked the prior version and the file doesn't exist there.

Game instantly crashes when I use this, any idea how to fix?

When CTD happens after a new mod install, do the following checks:

  1. Make sure the mod has no DLL files in SKSE\Plugins (not the case for Zaz mod though). If it has you'll need to make sure you have the latest version of SKSE and the correct version of the mod for your Skyrim version.
  2. Make sure to rerun FNIS or Pandora after installing the mod.
  3. Make sure the mod esm/esp/esl plugins all have their dependencies installed and active.
  4. If it still doesn't work you can try to deactivate the plugins and see what happens. If it still crashes it's probably an animation problem. If not turn on the plugins one by one to find the culprit.
