I don't think this is DCL, because I've seen that exact bug on a with a list without DCL. I've no idea what causes it.

That message is the no cheat functionality in LAL. You can either pick Chloe up and progress to get the note, then get teleported out. After that, go in through the escape exit tunnel to pick up ralof or hadvar. Chloe will catch up, she's just running out the way you came in originally and will be a few minutes. Or there's a patch on the troubleshooting post that someone provided.

No idea what's going on with VR. You don't need the quest to go inside the whip and chain inn. just put on some device and maybe pay some gold to get in. It's not too much, 50 or 200 gold, or something like that.

 

Yes, you can use console commands, although they aren't recommended. I don't know the stages. Google how to use setstage.

It's very likely a mod conflict. Do you have other mods that change the arrest dialog or prison systems?

The strange fade out sequences and problem with enemies large groups of enemies turning hostile are however, only prenset since this current build.

 

No idea on this. I've seen the quests fail to start a few times - the fade to black is a fall back i think. But not all the time.

 

Remove ALL mods except DCL and DD and their requirements, not just 'other devious mods' when testing. Make sure you are starting a new game with the new game option, not loading a save with your character already created.

 

Might be worth it to delete the data folder in steam and re-validate your files too. If you are running an older version of the game, this will upgrade it. You'll need to use a downgrader to roll back your version after validating or upgrade your skse dll mods to 1.6.640

Thanks, but I've tried going up in both a rubber dress and cuffs ?

I got it to work once with console commands, but I'm not sure what I did anymore lol

Just a quick question - how long do you have to spend running around in the billboard catsuit before the Dollmaker unlocks you?

It's random time. Maybe can configure in MCM. In middle about 3 days.

Is there a modern guide for installing everything to work with vortex or MO2? it keeps crashing trying to make a new save for me.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody has had a similar issue to mine and if they found a fix to this issue. My issue is:
When being sent to the Dagonar Prison for Women, I get punished for attacking the guards once the forced sex animation plays during my initiation with either the guard or warden, it then sentences me three extra days and breaks the game by keeping me in the starting room. I assume the same thing is occurring for me when being arrested for solicitation, as it has me enter combat when being sentenced to the prison on that route, which also breaks the game. Once again, if anybody has had a similar issue or knows what the issue is, please let me know!

edit: oh shit i just remembered i recently installed yamete redux, which does interact with the prison system

im sorry if im just dumb or overlooked something, but when i try to install the mod (the link says SE verison right) it says its not SE compatable? am i supposed to do something to fix this or is it something wrong on my end? its saying its 43 instead of 44 on the file or something?

 

You have one or more plugins that are not form 44. They are:

• Devious Devices - Assets.esm (form 43)
• Devious Devices - BRRF.esp (form 43)
• Devious Devices - Contraptions.esm (form 43)
• Devious Devices - Expansion.esm (form 43)
• Devious Devices - Integration.esm (form 43)
• Devious Devices For Him.esp (form 43)
• Deviously Cursed Loot LAL AddOn.esp (form 43)
• Deviously Cursed Loot.esp (form 43)

Form 43 (or lower) plugins are modules that were made for Skyrim LE (Oldrim) and have not been properly ported to Skyrim Special Edition, which uses form 44 plugins. This usually results in parts of the mod not working correctly.

To be converted, these plugins simply need to be opened and saved with the SSE Creation Kit but their presence can be an indication that a mod was not properly ported to SSE and so can potentially have additional issues.

Online guides can have more information on how to correctly convert mods for Skyrim SE.

Just search for form 44 in here and in devious devices se topics, it was discussed so much times...

If you can't for some reasons (maybe your religion says "NEVER SEARCH FOR YOUR QUESTION BEFORE ASKING!!!", or something else...)

In 2 words: IT'S OK! Just use as it is. It works. Form 44 theme is overhyped, most mods work without problems in form 43.
 

And... just ignore that if you are sure that you downloaded mod from SE page, or there were comments about "works on se as it is".

ok thanks, i do mean that... but i tried to search for it, but never saw what i was looking for, mind you im tired and maybe didnt search hard but... do ya gotta be snarky about it? lol sorry, didnt mean to put you out askin -.-

I'm having this exact same issue, I'm *guessing* it's a conflict - seconding the request!

Following up on this, I've done a few tests and found one factor that contributes to the performance issues (in my load order, anyway):

 

The lib.PlayerRef property getter in DCUR_ClockTickScriptRef get called repeatedly and yields the stack every single time. The actual getter itself is quick, but when there are dozens of threads running and they are all yielding the stack twenty or so times, you get some thrashing. It's the kind of thing that only shows up if you test in a huge messy load order.

 

When I tried adding a local PlayerRef property in DCUR_ClockTickScriptRef, the OnObjectEquipped event stopped showing up in quicksaves.

Been using Cursed Loot a lot once I discovered it. It has many more functions than the few others, and sometimes I have to roll back to stop something from happening or go find a solution on this site - when a mod has several hundred pages the search is . . . like finding a whole dungeon without any traps? idk, just a librarian. ;)

Just started using cursed loot again and when sent to jail I had the same bug...   

 

I playtested a few times removing some of the newer mods I have added lately one by one, and I think it is Public Whore that is causing the issue.

 

edit:  Just noticed I had googled myself into the SE thread, but I am using LE version. (seems the issue is the same in both tho)
