CTD at game load is caused by the alpha 6 version of skee64.dll, the skse64 plugin your installed to get racemenu working.

Why not just use SSE Fixes? I have XPMSSE 4.3 and Alpha 6 working, no problems loading saves.

  1. skse64 custom menu mouse pointer - fixes mouse pointer not showing up in skse custom menus; see AddItemMenuSE/UIExtensions for an example
  2. skse64 extra enchantment vtbl - fixes adding enchantment extra data; see Loot&Degradation or XtendedLoot which should now properly add enchantments with this fix
  3. skee(RaceMenu/NiO)/xpmsse 4.3+ crash on save load - fixed  <-------------

I haven't gotten to test too much yet, but it seems some events just stop at certain points. It becomes a staring contest between player and npc, and i think it's mostly about the rape event. The combat retreat seems working, except that i need to press ESC twice sometimes to refresh the animations. Player eventually found herself hogtied in the wilderness, which i was able to struggle out twice.

 

I met a bound girl in some inn and freed her. Popup told me that the curse puts all the gear on me instead, but nothing happened. The girl vanished.

 

Also the default settings are a little brutal. Always ending up blindfolded, gagged and heavy restraints with no way to get oneself out. I tried the pet slave to some master in Whiterun inn, and none of the dialog options with other npcs talk end up attempting to free her. I have done a lot of number tuning since and will see how it goes...

Had the same problem. Follow the instructions closely. It was either the first or second really complicated thing mentioned. Hopefully your body is not invisible. I think they might be related but idk.

for some reason my game CTD's whenever i try to leave leon's house after doing his quest, is there any conflicts with modded whiterun atall?

lolologos suggested loading Alpha 5 earlier in the thread after I described my CTD on load issue.

dowgrading did allow me to load saved games that were not loading so i would expect you to have the same luck

I did not know this was a thing haha. i will test and see it alpha 6 works with this later.  Sorry if I stepped on your toes just found a working build for my system and wanted to share with anyone with same issues

Something is wrong with my body slides. It wont load any outfit. I tried following the instructions carefully, maybe I missed something? The 4 files that were recommended to be replaced were empty. I'm going to try and switch body types and use nmm to install instead of no2. I'll post my fnis log before I do.

Got this working! Here are some suggestions for noobs like me.

 

Download this only after every prerequisite is downloaded and working.

 

I used nmm, it worked better then no2.

 

Download Bethesda creation kit 64 for skyrim and use it to convert any old esp into se.

 

My problems were caused by my lack of understanding of fnis and bodyslide. Watch some videos from bodyslide and outfits.

 

Most importantly is always have a back up. If something goes wrong it's a lot easier to delete the data if you have a backup data folder. Without a backup, you'll spend a lot of time redownload files.

SSE Fixes is not the same as SSE Engine Fixes, they're different mods. You were linked this in an earlier post but you said you already have it and referred to it as 'SSE Fixes' again, so I dont know if you're just shortening the name or if you're actually confusing the two mods. It's 'SSE Engine Fixes (skse64) ' that you should install. It fixed my loading save CTDs among other things.

i installed the fixes and so far alpha 6 is working better for me.

I'm getting CTD's too, but to me it seems to be clearly about ankle chain restraints. Sure they can be equipped on "dolls" and bound girls, but the moment i equip some it's CTD. I have ZAZ 8 because i'm also experimenting with slave mods. So i will disable all bound girls, i just don't know how to get rid of them in my current save. I can't go in the Riverwood Inn. I tried to pull Delphine out with console to finish a quest but it wasn't in talk options. (edit: Nvm, Delphine wasn't actually innkeeper, it was a guy. Reloaded older save anyway where the inn works.)

 

This may have also been mentioned in some guides, but disabling XP32 may help too. As soon as i did that, Estrus curse traps started working. I can wear ankle chains but the chains themselves aren't really placed properly or animating at all.

Sorry, it is SSE Engine Fixes. The mod community is so flush with acronyms, It's hard to keep them straight sometimes. In MO, it shows up as "SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin". I rarely rename things in MO unless the mod has a name like "xc" just for clarity's sake. 

 

EDIT: UGH. Just realized I hadn't installed the preloader. Time for more testing. Thanks for linking me to the fixes, I was just about to say I don't think SKEE and engine fixes  were the problem until I read the description. 

 

EDIT 2: Old saves are now working. I think installing the preloader fixed the issue. Thank to everyone for helping! I was getting pretty close to giving up, but decided to try my luck here.

So, does DCL SE actually add any items we haven't seen in Devious Devices (and the expansion) or is this the gameplay and traps?

I know the Oldrim version added several genuinely NEW assets (I think the dresses and catsuits and hoods at least) but I figure that would be integrated into the SE version of DD.

I'm running into a problem when I attempt to access the inn in Dawnstar.  The loading screen starts, but then it locks up  I didn't run into this when I tried to go into other buildings, just the inn.    I'm currently locked into a dress so I am wondering if it is trying to equip something and getting a conflict.  I don't know if it applies  but I'm currently highly aroused ut got the message that restraining myself might not be a good idea.

 

 

 Here is the last line from the papyrus log.  I can post the log in full if need be.

EDIT: I tried traveling to Whiterun.  The Bannered Mare loads normally.  So it seems just the inn in Dawstar.

There are rubber dresses, hoods and so on. Visit dollmaker in...

But i also may have found a real bug. I was on "The Bound Queen" quest and found chastity belt first. Put a strong vibra in and locked belt on, because why not. However, after that i see no cursed loot or traps at all. Do see keys and doll boxes but that's it. I went as far as increasing the quest items drop chance to 35%, then quicksaving and loading at a large chest and loot it 20 times, nothing else is in there even though the contents were always rerolled. No additional Sarah items.

 

So.. don't lock any of the parts on you or it messes up the quest. Luckily I have a save from before i locked the first one.
