Very thanks for @zarantha and @Elsidia :) I found this, the problem from SLIF's patch for DDI 4.2 (it include the zadlibs.pex file), remove this patch and problem have gone?

 

By the way, I want to know, we need slif patch for DD 5.0?

Yes, slif needs a new patch for DD 5.0. That falls under the heading of any script patches from previous versions will break your game :)

SLIF patches are all out date by this point since the mod author hasn't done any updates in a few years. At this point, I don't think any of the slif patches should be used, they all need updated. unless it's for a mod that also hasn't updated in years.

 

I had compiled one for my own use, but it was from beta 13 and zadlibs in the released 5.0 version looks very different. That whole section where the slif code was inserted was changed, so I'll need to look at it again to see if I understand enough to patch it myself. I've asked kimy if she'll consider adding the code in like other mod authors have, but even a soft dependency like slif adds a lot of overhead for the mod author, so she hasn't said yes at this point.

I was looking at zadxlibs again instead of zadlibs... you'd think I'd remember that by now.

 

Ok, SLIF patch for DD 5.0 is added to the troubleshooting post. I'm trying to keep all the patches in one place, so they're better controlled.

Check MCM, see if all other mods ends activity. (In left upper corner appears messages about mod inicialize.

Save a game

Load a game

Check console activity. If there is wait while activity ends. Repeat /////-----Repeat------///// while there no activity.

Now load a game and set MCM config, save a game and go test combat surrender.

 

2) If new game do this all steps in LAL cell without moving and change view.

Now load a game and go out of LaL cell to test combat surrender.

 

If still not works after all initialize then send me new papyrus log (before that delete all previous) - if you all do correct in that log i don't see any mod initialize steps.

That's really a known problem that occurs every now and then with larger mods.

 

Here is the workaround for it. Works really 100% of the time. At least for me.

 

1. Start a new game.

2. Wait 30 secs, or not at all. It's really just telling Skyrim that you MEAN it. Or so.

3. Quit to menu.

4. Start another new game.

5. Enjoy.

UPD: I never have issue with DCL 8.4 SE, 8.5 SE

If DCL 9.0 beta there is problem.

If nothing helps after all initialize try this in console:

 

setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1

 

It reinitialize all menus

Hello

 

Small problem with mod devices.

 

When my male character is equipped with the device, I have no problem.
On the other hand, when my female character is equipped with the devices, the devices are invisible as well as my character ...

 

It probably comes from one of my mod which modifies women but I'm not sure.

 

Has anyone ever had this kind of problem? and who would have a solution?

invisible devices are from not building the bodyslides. you need to batch build the dd groups in bodyslide.

I know it is a longstanding problem with animated chains from the chain harnesses (in DD) which is a problem SSE has, but is there a way to actually delete the floating elements? There are two floating chains in front of the chain harness, and I wonder if it is possible to just remove them in outfit studio? It is off putting to get locked in a chain harness, and then have two chains "hanging around".

If you have DD5 there in outfit studio is group. DD Framework HDT or NoHDT. Choose NoHDT without chains or HDT version with HDT SMP mod and then chains hang from both arms. DDX - harness gloves.

 

In DD 4.3 there is ddhotfix, but there no gloves fix.

I have been having problems with crashing from this mod's dialogue and some sort of issue with aroused creatures, would anybody know a fix?

This may have been asked before, but I have installed DCL 8.4 ref 4 and when I go into the bodyslide studio for skyrim SE I do get all the slidergroups from DCL but the outfits don't show. I'm using the UUNP variant

 

EDIT: Looks like some outfits do work, but not all, all the latex college stuff doesn't work

I haven't run into any issue using DCL along with aroused creatures. what are the circumstances of the crash and why do you think it's  dcl and aroused creatures?

do you have a .net script framework crash log?

did you try building them individually?

 

Could you try the DCL 8.5 conversion? admittedly, i'm a cbbe user and don't test unp, but i haven't heard of any issues along these  lines for the entire time both conversions have been out. I suspect it's more likely the latex stuff is not in the group, but building them individually or selecting unassigned should work around that.

Oh damn, is this a Joy of Perspective problem at the root?  It's going to be hard to decide between literally my whole mod list and JoP.   The animation improvements for combat are immeasurable. 

I'll take any fix for the random CTD though, it was happening after shopping quest for me.  Then again at Nazeem, so must be the chains.

DDhotfix is built into DD 5.0 SE. Choose the 'no hdt options' using the "DD Framework HDT or NoHDT chains" bodyslide group.

Are you saying I could keep JoP with that setup?  Or am I misunderstanding?  I am currently running DD 5.0.7 SE and was encountering the crashes.

Removing JoP immediately stopped the CTD, I tested with Nazeem.  Prisoner Chains are applied but the physics are broken on the leg chains, as expected.   (Whats the fix?  Build the NoHDT chains in Bodyslide?)   I'm currently using DCL 8.4 and had tried 8.5 too, but it looks like JoP was absolutely the culprit for the prisoner chain crash for me.  Removing JoP left me with awful first person issues, but a new game will fix that.

Edit:  Built the no HDT version, game still loads and the modified chains appear.  About to Reinstall JoP and test the no HDT chains with it and the Nazeem event.  Have to say though, the prisoner chain design is killer and I'll miss it.  If there's ever a fix for the physics I'd jump through the hoops for it.

Edit 2:  Yup, JoP works now once I changed the Prisoner Chains specifically to No HDT.  Kept HDT on all the others.  The Prisoner Chain model is amazing, but not worth tossing JoP in my case.  Thanks for the support, fam!  You solved my issue 100%!

yes, you should be able to keep JoP if you build the non-HDT chains. It will not remove hdt from the other outfits unless you build the no hdt versions of things like the bra and catsuit too. but those are there for user preference and not part of the hdt or no hdt chains group. From reports, it's just the chains causing the issue.

 

this is what is contained in the DD Framework HDT or NoHDT chains group:

For the prisoner chains - the no hdt version builds an alternate mesh (the chain harness). Otherwise the chains not quite connecting are expected and due to the way SMP works vs PE. Unless someone has a genius moment and can rebuild them or improve my xmls, they're working as well as they can. Elsidia was able to improve the wrist chains which were broken worse just recently, that should be in 5.1 when it's out of beta. But the prisoner chains is the only chain with an alternate mesh. The non hdt for everything else mostly just removes the connecting chains.

Worked exactly as you say.  I now have the harness in place of prisoner chains.  Game is working again, including my original save which started me down this path.

That prisoner chain model, *chefs kiss*, so good.  Maybe I'll do a mage next play and care much less about anims so I can take out JoP.
